Other than Lara who has been very helpful, UPS have been woeful in mediating the sale of a house. I have had prior poor experiences in dealing with this company and would never consider buying a house on the market with them again.

My family and I recently rented a house with UPS in Belfast. We found them exceptionally pleasant and helpful to deal with. Any issues with the property were addressed immediately and in an always positive and can-do manner. The lettings team and the team in the Lisburn office were readily available and contactable at all times and immediately responded to any e-mails / phone calls etc. It has been a pleasure dealing with everyone in UPS and they really made our experience of renting in Belfast a hugely positive and enjoyable one.

We have used this branch of UPS to buy a property as well as to sell. I highly recommend them in every way. Their communication is excellent, and they are punctual and courteous. 0/10 for Customer Service!! I cannot stress enough how poorly treated we feel. The treatment by this estate agent has resulted in us taking our house off the market and changing our decision to move at all. We were buying and selling with UPS, we were assured this would make the process easier!! They tried to sell us a new build but issued us with incorrect plans and the builder was building a different house!! They sent emails with floor plan images that said Scale 1:100 but apparently we should have known to ask for a true scale drawing as those images provided were not true!? I stupidly assumed buying a new build I had been issues with such!! They do not consider themselves to be in the wrong at all and although initially said our site fee would be returned they then had the cheek to withdraw fees from it after the builder kindly returned our £1000.
They have now removed the “Scale 1:100” writing from the images of site plans on their platforms since our complaint, surely that alone shows they were wrong!!??
We are out a substantial amount of money and are just relived we discovered the mistake before we were any further into the build.
I cannot stress enough that if you want to feel supported and well informed throughout the stressful moving process then stay well clear!!!

UPS sold our house during the pandemic which obviously presented new challenges. They were very professional and were readily available to answer any query however small. We would like to thank Tom personally for his courtesy and nothing is too much trouble attitude. We highly recommend UPS Lisburn Rd. T&H
