Beware of Fraudulent Practices by Under Armour UAE.

I am writing to share my deeply frustrating and disappointing experience with Under Armour UAE, which has been nothing short of a nightmare. My ordeal began when I ordered several pairs of shoes, out of which three pairs had to be returned. Under Armour promised to refund my money but instead credited it to my e-wallet, stating that the refund would be processed within two weeks. I reluctantly accepted this, and after receiving the e-wallet credit, I decided to order two more pairs of shoes using the e-wallet balance.

To my utter dismay, Under Armour deducted the money from my e-wallet but never delivered the shoes. For the past two weeks, I have been relentlessly following up with their customer service, only to receive empty promises and blatant lies. Each time, I am told that the finance team is working on it, but it is clear that this is nothing more than a delay tactic. They are holding onto my money and providing no resolution or timeline for returning it.

This experience has been extremely disheartening and has completely shattered my trust in Under Armour as an international brand. Their fraudulent practices and deceitful behavior are unacceptable and shameful. I urge everyone to be cautious and think twice before making any purchases from Under Armour UAE. Protect yourself from falling victim to their unethical practices.

Total garbage

Total garbage, all marketing no substance. A first time customer ordered £200 worth of gear. With a intended repeat of around £500 per month for my gym business.
First delivery never arrived.
Ended up having to do a chargeback because Customer Services are non existent, took days to get a mickey mouse responses (prob employ student grads).

Terrible Company

Under Armour processed a large order only to reject it 4 days later with no reason. UA said they would re-process my order but all the items had risen in price and the difference was nearly $100.

I was told that I would have to pay the new prices - Basically, they would not honor the original order. This is REALLY POOR from such a large company and I no longer buy from them now.

Running shoes box had blood on it

I ordered several items from Under Armour. On opening the outer mailing bag, I found splashes of dry blood on the box of the running shoes – an obvious bio hazard. I brought this to the attention of UA via their 'Chat with an Expert' on 15-4-24 (over two weeks ago). Lenny, their ‘Chat Expert’ told me:
“I will forward this issue to the right department. They will investigate it and they will contact you back by email as soon as possible. In the meantime, please find your case number for follow-up purposes… 04952369”. I appreciated that this had been taken this seriously by UA/Lenny.
I returned the item and was issued a quick refund. However, I still haven’t received an update from UA. So, today 3-5-24, I used UA’s ‘Chat with an Expert’ again. ‘Chat Expert’ Megan told me:
“The case has been closed I see. I do not think they are able to find that out”.
UNBELIEVABLE!!
Under Armour, if you’d still like to investigate this, please refer to Case No. 04952369. I would like to know the outcome. Thank you.

Abusive return policy

I recently purchased two shirts. The next day I returned them with the receipt. That was fine. What wasn’t fine was even with a receipt and credit card, they said their system could not process my return without my email address.
I’m sure I’m not the only person whose email address had been used and sold for marketing purposes. To essentially hold a customer hostage unless they present their email address, which certainly could be sold, is an absolutely unacceptable, and abusive policy.

Lousy customer Service

I bought two items a tote bag and a under armour baseball hat .Only the bag was in the box .I complained they eventually came back to me looking for photos of the parcel .They then didn't answer for ten days .After sending more emails they eventually sent me a refund for the cap.They never offered to replace it .I'm off on vacation soon so it's too late to order again and they never even offered this service or refund the postage which meant i was being financial penalised again.Dont buy from these

Placed an order on the 24th March

Placed an order on the 24th March, still haven’t received my items and can’t get any answers as to when I will either receive my items or a refund. Have tried numerous times asking for updates but just get told they have high number of complaints and will get back to me, never give a timescale for when they’ll get back to me though! So disappointed

Terrible return service

I wanted to return a top as it wasn’t quite the right fit. There is only one option for courier return, FedEx. The FedEx page to see return retailers was down for over a day and then intermittently worked. I finally had a list of retailers, the first said they don’t take returns. The second said the return label did not register so they couldn’t take the parcel. I contacted Under Armour for an alternative return method as I live in the countryside and cannot keep driving 5 miles to check each return retailer. They said there was no alternative and just gave me the list of retailers to return to for FedEx. This is not good enough, I’m stuck with an item I don’t want. You need to offer more courier return options.

I need gear that can keep up with my…

I need gear that can keep up with my athletic performance and is not limiting and this is exactly why I prefer to use Under Armour.

Their compression clothing fits tight on the body like a second skin, keeping me dry and comfortable during workouts. I know they will perform every time without failure. For comfortable, reliable gear, Under Armour is the best.

This review is about under amour, Dubai, UAE, online store. They are ok with deliveries, more or less, but they are horrible with returns and refunds. I returned over 2 weeks ago and never got my refund, they don't reply my e-mails, messages online. You can chat with an agent online but he/she is just a robot who apologizes, that's it. I even managed to reach an agent over the phone once but it's the same story - apologies, no item, no money back. It's very disappointing and frustrating, will have to stop shopping there.

I was just calling to see if there was a first time buyers coupon because I jumped through all the hoops and was supposed to receive an email and it never happened I waited a couple days called customer service and they said no no that's not the way it happens well that's what happened. if something's green you can't call it red duh I asked some other questions and just that lady's attitude made me go to trust pilot to see what their rating was if you look on their site they're rating is close to 5 when you look on other sites it's between one and two they must have some false reviews in there I would imagine. Speaking of false reviews you can buy positive reviews from this site word

Bought shoes and trainers for my birthday in november 2023, they came faulty, contacted costumer service. They told me they where going to look into it. Today we are at april 2024, still no reply, no refund, nothing. Worst costumer service ever. I'm never buying anythinf from them again. I'll stick to gymshark or ICIW.

inadequate Customer Service

Spoke to Emmelyn on 21 March as had wrong t-shirt in order. Supplied photographic evidence. I was told a case number and that Customer Service would be in touch via email

Chased response 2 April and was told by Lenny that "unable to provide you with a response time as we have received a high amount of cases lately" and unable to give an estimate time for a response.

While Lenny and Emmelyn were polite they did not provide satisfactory information.

Beware, from checking other reviews it seems Under Armour have hit the cost cutting too hard.

Under armour not recommended

Shopped online on under armour website, everything great UNTIL it came to receiving my parcel ,they use FEDEX who said my parcel had been delivered, it had not ,so I contacted under armour by email and live chat,absolutely useless was not interested that I had not received my items ,and did not care, so should you order from there website and you don’t receive your parcel TOUGH ,sort it out with the delivery company which by the way is as rubbish as under armour FEDEX
IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED THIS IS FEDEX BELGIUM NUMBER
+32 2752 7575 I recommend you don’t buy from under armour online as you are nothing to them and I certainly recommend you do not use anyone or anything that has anything to do with FedEx

Terrible quality

Terrible quality. Bought an expensive hoody, and it already looks 5 years old after a couple of washes. It has become thin, and is pilling terribly. I followed the washing instructions, wash inside out etc.

Shocking Experience

As so many others have said, the worst customer service possible. I purchased 2 x pairs training shoes, returned both, in original package, refunded for one pair.
No way to contact them other than live chat which is useless "I have passed this on to the relevant department". or email, no response.
I had to do a charge back on my credit card before it was sorted, 2 months after retuning the shoes.
They don't give a damn about their customers.
Purchase on-line at your peril.
