Underground make brilliant creepers. I’ve been a customer for decades and they just keep getting better. The recent bespoke service is amazing. I got a pair of pink creeper boots with leopard skin fronts for my daughter’s wedding. They looked brilliant.

I order a pair of undergrounds for 300€ in the beginning of april. After more than 4 months of waiting and weekly telling me the shoes would be send out the next week, the shoes arrived in wrong size.

I asked them for a refund, they replied it would not be possible as it was a custom order, which is not true. So I sent them back and now, more than 6 months after ordering I'm still waiting for the refund.

That's not just bad service, that's fraud.

22 months later I finally got my boots!!! Thank you!!!
I placed my order on November 5th,2017 it was for a custom made pair of Rangers which at last arrived at the end of this September 2019. This has been the single most frustrating shopping experience i've ever had. The boots are great and fit like a glove but they are not worth two years of heartache and disappointments!!!!!!!
I wouldn't be able to comfortably recommend this shop to anyone I know. Its a shame and it saddens me not to be able to support them because I've been their customer since 1988, and made many great memories with their boots.
I hope they'll be able to fix the problems they had with production so that moving forward they can make many customers happy

EDIT: Underground reported me and tried to take down my review! However, I provided legitimate documentation to Trustpilot and my review was reinstated! Underground is being shady and reporting all the bad reviews to increase their rating because they know they are committing fraud. My review is now VERIFIED.

I was finally refunded in full by PayPal.

I am renewing my 1-star review that I wrote on August 16, 2017. I ordered shoes in February 2017 and never received them.

In my previous review, I described how to get your money back (Titled: File Claim Immediately - Underground is a Fraud). In order to get a refund, you have to file a claim/dispute through your bank, credit card company, or PayPal. Underground England will not refund you no matter how much you relay your frustration or provide documentation.

Underground's customer service has been quite atrocious and my experience has been extremely lacklustre, which warrants my updated 1-star review. Sadly, I will no longer be a customer. It is very upsetting to see so many others having the same bad experience.

5 stars for the order process and customer service. This year I've bought a pair of Underground Wulfrun Creeper in tartan. Before confirming my order, I received all information on delivery. The model I chose needed 12 weeks to be ready because it was made specifically for my order, which was ok for me. During these weeks I had been in constant touch with the customer service sending me updates on the progress of my order. I received my gorgeous creepers perfectly on time. 100% satisfied. Looking forward to visiting the shop in London!

Placed online custom order in February 2017 (valued over £200). They were delayed for over two years. I eventually asked for a refund, which they rejected because the shoes were "in production". About a month later they sent a message saying they couldn't produce the shoes. They said my refund would arrive in two weeks, then closed the order. My refund hasn't arrived (over a month later) and they won't reply, even after I've earned them that I will seek am ombudsman.
AVOID THIS COMPANY.

International order (UK to USA) placed months before an event. The order was placed placed for 2 shoes, with a request for custom tartan print. Underground responded quickly and succinctly to all correspondence: they identified that the custom fabric was available and made meaningful suggestions about style/materials. Following purchase Underground kept me updated on the progress of the shoes and shipping ETA. My experience was with a professional and proud company.

Having spent most my life in creepers I wanted a pair of entirely white ones for our wedding, I was concerned about the long lead time so sent an email to see if it was possible to get them any sooner and they arrived within a few months! They’re super comfy straight out the box and look *fab*! All my emails were answered pretty quickly and I feel like Underground really bent over backwards to help me out ❤️ Everyone that’s seen them so far has agreed they look great, I’m so happy I found them!

BUYER BEWARE! I waited several months and several others others have wait 2 or 3 years with no shoes sent.

They don't send you your product and keep you hanging on for months with monthly generic promises. They send these to all the other customers and change the names.

The designs may be awesome but it's not a business, don't give them your money!

It is now nearly August 2019 and I still haven’t received my custom shoes (reiterating the countless other messages of fellow scammed customers) - I made the original order in February 2018!!! Absolutely ridiculous. I have sent numerous emails asking for a full refund but to no avail - the same generic response again and again.

The service and delivery is outrageously terrible. Same experience as many other victims below.
Ordered and paid 2 months ago, and got no delivery yet. Customer service kept putting off the delivery date and then started to ignore after I asked for refund.
It literally is a scam.
I'm now turning to local authority for assistance.

I must admit, I had to wait a hell of a long time for my order to arrive. I had a pair made for me and it took a year. The company did always reply to my questioning emails though and the owner even called me to explain the problem and give his sincere apologies. This meant I never felt I had been ripped off and was never going to receive my product.
I now have the shoes, love them and will be buying another pair. I think this is a good company who mean well but got let down by manufacturers.

No one else makes these types of shoes and to such a high standard . Ive been wearing my pairs every day for the last 4 - 5 years and they are comfortable , smart , cleanable and look great . I just replaced one pair that were getting a bit tired and I'm pleased to say they are as good as ever . I love my Undergrounds !

I palced my order in January 2018. A few weeks later I found this page and realised a lot of people complaining about not receiving what they bought. There seemed to be a problem with custom orders.

I didn't want to believe the same thing was gonna happen to me, but it did. My shoes weren't ready after those 3-4 months they need to make a custom pair. Though, I could've sworn the shoes were listed as in stock when I paid for them.

I was constantly exchanging emails with Underground and, like other people, I was given a new delivery date on and on. Until one day I got an email where they were asking for me to confirm the delivery adress. Then they sent me the tracking number and the after a week or so I got the shoes.

That's my second Underground pair, and they look really good although I have to admit the colors look different in reality than in the website picture. I probably wouldn't have gone for them if I'd seen them at the shop next to a pair in black.

Funny you should say that I could've saved myself all the worry because I've visited London 3 three times since January 2018 and I could've bought a pair at the shop.

Just got my shoes after 17 months wait , think a lot of people have just been unlucky ordering while they had issues with there custom orders ,customer service kept in touch with me and vice versa ,shoes are very well made ,don t give up hope .

I have ordered shoes in March last year, cancelled in December (almost 1 year after) because the shoes were still not ready to be sent, and I am l waiting for my money.
The customer support was unhelpful, the complaints department never got back to me. If you read this, do something Order #2011782

I ordered a pair of creepers in 2017 - two years later still got no delivery. No Money back, nothing, These guys are Thieves, don´t trust them.

In the end I got my custom made creepers in June 2019, thanks a lot I didnt believe it. You guys have to work on that. Regards, Michael
