I ordered a book from this company, first time I had used them. Excellent service, book arrived 2 days later by courier.

Underground England make excellent footwear. I have owned my first pair boots from them for over fifteen years, and they still look perfect. Recently I needed help ordering a custom pair of boots, and Molly at customer service was very helpful and friendly. I cannot recommend Underground England enough, if you are looking for good boots, go here first!

Listen to me & don’t order from here. I placed my order in January, thinking this is a well known brand, can’t be an issue. Oh it was. Week over week I’ve now been told that there is a delay. When I asked today they answered that there’s another huge unexpected delay to ship my shoes. At this point I call bs. I opened a claim with Amex (good thing I used my credit card), and told underground to cancel my order immediately or I’ll take legal actions. 3 months is not acceptable in 2022 to receive a pair of shoes that’s NOT custom made, even though they use this as an excuse. Go find these in a local shop instead or through a trusty reseller. They clearly don’t have a scalable e-commerce system or are just scamming people - either are not good options. Bye bye

I ordered the Leather Barfly Creeper Boots with Nickel Spikes. These were a custom made order so I expected a long delivery time. Whilst it certainly took much longer than the website advertised, the staff at Underground were very informative and provided me quick updates whenever I asked. Most important the boots that arrived have surpassed my expectations. They are absolutely gorgeous! The finest quality and craftsmanship. It's just a shame I don't have anywhere to wear them due to Covid lol. Highly recommend if you don't mind a wait. Robert.

Still waiting for shoes ordered in July. It's October now.
3 months waiting. No emails, nothing. Awful customer service, blaming everything on coving.
I'm going to be contacting trading standards now.
Such a shame. No wonder businesses are folding.

I ordered some creepers from the shop. They were out of stock but had an email address that was there to allow you to reserve them for when they came back i to stock. They were really helpful and nice to talk to during this time. I reserved the shoes and a few weeks later was told they would be in stock a few weeks later than i was initially told they would be, but then they were able to find a way to get a pair out to me early which was a pleasant surprise as they shipped about 2 weeks earlier than I expected them to. Shoes have been so comfortable since i got them and i would recommend them to anyone.

Underground England's Customer Service Was Incredible, Fast Replies, Great Information On My Order And Sizes, If Any One Is Unsure On Buying Anything From Underground England, I Highly Suggest Emailing The Customer Service, It Was A Great Help, With My Order and General Information On The Shoes I Ordered, I Will Definitely Be Buying From This Fantastic Website Again, Thank You Underground England.

Still waiting for my order which was placed 4th Feb and still not here. Noticed people have been getting orders in March
I’ve been beyond patient. Contact has been ok. These were a birthday present
5 months ridiculous. Just had email, now say send July, really ! Not happy taken my cash in Feb. I hope trading standards can help. Never dealing with again.
I have since had help from the customer service team who have been very helpful and restored my faith in Underground England.

It’s a company full of lie.
I was an employer on 2018.
They not only flared to customers and didn’t pay 5 staff at the time.
Don’t trust this company and don’t buy anything here.

Creepers....love them. Great quality. Service was very quick, no fuss and just what I'd expect from a professional outfit. I usually purchase f2f in Camden but clearly the team have stepped up to the online experience over the pandemic. Good work!

Really great shoes. Arrived well packaged and came before delivery date. Initially I had a few issues ordering, However this was resolved in a courteous and professional manner. Can't stress enough how much I love their shoes and products.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my creepers!!! I wish it didn't take 3 months to get them, but completely understand they are custom and shipping to the US, and that's just how it has to be. I get so many compliments on them every time I wear them. They fit perfect and are made incredibly well.

I ordered a pair of steel cap boots from Underground during the Christmas time, have been saving up for this for a while. and really love it!! excellent quality and super fast delivery even during Christmas holiday. and i can't wait for another promotion/ sale time to buy another pair, btw their customer service is also helpful and friendly.

Nothing reall changed... (It is all documented via E-amil exchange that was saved)

I ordered my boots in Sept. 2018 and got nothing delivered. In spring 2019 I asked about my order and I was told they had production problems and they have to redesign the boots.

I asked them a couple of more times and got the same answear. After some more couple of month I talked to Paypal and got my money back because Paypal also had the info about the issues with Underground. But Paypal kept an amount for doing that so I lost already money here.

They promised me a Voucher about 150 GBP for my time waiting. But when I wanted to redeem it, of course this Voucher did not exist.

Underground kept me waiting and waiting telling me the boots are ready next month to then tell me again that I have to wait another month.

In November I was promised 74.91 GPB off of my order (25% less), since I waited so long. Of course this promis was also bogus and I never got the 25% off.

Until Jan of 2020 when my boots were ready. I had to pay again with Paypal (no reduction because of loosing the money in 2019)

Even my boots were promised to be ready in Jan. of 2020 I had to wait until March for them to ship them.
When I received them, they were damaged due to the production order. I was promised a new shipment in the next week.

After 2 more weeks I called again and I was told that someone from the company redirected the shipment that was going to me and the boots got send somewere else...

I now was promised in April that new boots will be produced for me and that takes two weeks. Of course all production got shut down becaus of the pandemic conditions and nothing was shipped out.

So I got my money back from Paypal minus 54€ that I had to leave since I had the damaged product.

In August I got an e-mail that I now have to re-order the boots and pay for them again, but the price was now raised for 54 GBP and of course I should place a new order but all the vouchers and promises of a rebate do not count for the new order...

So now I am left with a broken Item, paid more then 100€ for that and the company still has to find out how to handle and deliver my order after now 27 month.

I am getting strange letters from the founder Alan, about how hard it is for such a small company.

I´ll see how long I have to wait until I got actually correctly produced boots here. So far I am warning every person who wants to order there to NOT order anything at Underbground.

I am also not trusting all the 5 star comments from the recent months. They are all invited and have the same kind of grammar and text, even so the people are from many different countries. Also the information in them is strange - for example if your order gets delivered in 3 days, why do you contact customer service? And some people received there packages from England, my deliveries are from other countries. Never from England. That is all really suspicous.

I can proof my story, since I kept all the e-mails. Also about the vouchers and other reductions.

Honestly, all of my experiences with underground have been great. I have placed several custom orders with the team and they have always been very patient and responsive. Further, the custom order is high quality and feels very special. Working with Underground has been much more like working with a small business where they are open to working on prices and timelines as well as building a great product.

Been only wearing UGL boots since I started it, steel cap boots are the best.
Customer service is very efficient, I accidentally put wrong address once, they picked up my call pretty quick, and changed it immediately.

These boots are just superb, the leather is smooth the cut is perfect and its shape is elegant. Furthermore they are very comfortable. I am over the moon !

The coolest shoes I’ve ever owned are a pair of custom made red suede blitz winklepickers from Underground England! The girls at customer service were fantastic. They kept me in the loop when COVID-19 hit and I got the boots as soon as their warehouse was up and running. Once again mad props to the girls in customer service. Peace out, Dave
