It was awful assistance in UniCredit Band in Bulgaria Mall. The manager was rude with me, can not explain what I need to show her. I just forgot my password from Bulbank mobile, gave her my password and credit card. She was so rude and unpolite!
And if you are the international back,your workers should talk on English, at least understand!

Non-existant customer services and racism. I was refused to open an account because of a place of birth, not even a nationality. Arriving carabiniere told me that discrimination because of place of birth is not racism!

Only poor experience
Where should I start..? First of all, to reach anyone on the support line is literally impossible. I have made four calls in one day, with the waiting time between 12minutes -to 25 and no one takes the call! Moreover, no matter how many times I have updated my address, it keeps turning out that they DO NOT update it. And you find this out only when you need some documents from the bank with confirmation of your address. The change of address was done over the phone, and even twice we had to go to the bank and still same. The last time, I had to go to the branch to change it only because I got an alarm message that someone changed my details. I thought my card was highjacked or something and once at the branch the person tells me that some lady in the bank changed may address to my company's address... and they could not tell me why she was making that change. Like what is this? How is that someone at the bank can change personal details without your consent is absolutely atrocious! They also have requested for me to provide employment confirmation on the yearly basis, allegedly that this is required now by law. Yet no one else from my family who are also not the CZ citizens were not even asked to provide that. So does this means that your bank has some discrimination issues and also does not follow legal obligation. What are poor service!
Excessive fees - be aware
I love Italy and happy to visit and stay every year - but I don't think I could live here... It's like the wild west where everyone is waiting to get mugged. We sent a local currency transfer (Euro bank account to Euro bank account) for 30 Euros. The sending bank advertising it as "No fees" because it is a local transfer. The recipient bank, UniCredit, however takes nearly half the amount as a bank charge with zero explanation and no means for recourse. Instead of 30EU the recipient gets 16.40EU... That's for a *local* EU transfer.. Imagine if we'd sent the money from a UK account? Sharks.

My company recommended me around 5 years ago to open an account for my salary at UniCredit Bank Želetavská 1525, 140 00 Praha 4, Czech Republic.
They blocked my account in 2020, one month after leaving Prague, and now I need to fight for my funds because their online banking app only has the capability of recognizing the Czechs ID cards.
My recommendation would be to stay away from this bank.
The Customer Experience & Complaints Management representative basically made fun of me when I tried to explain that it is literally unacceptable to treat a client in such a way.

This bank its just joke there was money transferred too my account and they blocked my account i asked why only what they said was we call u back they never do did hear nothing from them and even lost the money very bad customer service how can a back work this way and still be in business?
The employees don't work at all
I came here with my girlfriend, who is an international student, to open an account for her. At the first attempt they kicked us out saying that she had to come back with the residence permit. The second time they told us we had to go to another office. The former office sent us to another office. Last but not least disappointing, this office had a lady telling us we have to come back tomorrow cause it's too close to the lunch break. Customer service -200. Employees are worse than not helping at all, they make everything even more complicated and time-wasting.

I went to the unicredit bank in the small city near us it's 10km away so the first time this old man who works there told me I should come next time and he will give me my prepaid card
Next time I go there this old guy tells me he can't do it
So he tells me go talk to the other man behind and I do it guess what. The other guy tells me he can't open bank account because I need appointment haha and when he tells me I must come after 3 days morning I go there and the security guard tells me he ain't here I asked when he will back no response from them
These guys are racists you can see clearly the hate in their eyes also if you don't have 1mil $$$ don't waste time going there they accept only the richest people the chinese woman which we know is owner of big store near us every time she goes there they kiss her shoes I won't spend one euro in this bank if you are in italy go to poste italiane there I got my prepaid card for 30 minutes and I wasted 2 hours in Unicredit for nothing oh and if U want something from them you will wait 100 years they're so slow I wait 20minutes one person and there are 3 workers you better take your bed there :D

They're not my first option
I get my credit card pretty fast but the site has a big process to do it and after that there's no guarantee that you're going to get it. At least they are better than other banks.
As an international student
As an international student, I had opened an account at Unicredit and regretted it. If you don't have a resident's card, they will open a bank account for you that will cost 100+ euros every 3 months. If you go to close that account, it will cost you about 150 euros just for closing fees. I wasn't informed about either of those fees. I dearly regret my decision of opening an account here.

I was waiting in the line about 20 minutes, and not only me but also a man that came before me. There was a service that was free all that time we were waiting, and this woman came and she had an appointment, in the time she came, but all those 20 minutes before the place was empty and we could finish our job by the time.

I have been having issues with this bank for years. There only reason I still keep an account there is because of my other obligations, but after the last experience, I decided that within a year I will be closing my account. My last experience is related to communication, not only it is difficult to communicate with the bank as the response time often take ages, but people are often rude. Once I was told that I did not pick up my phone, because yes, when I cal no one picks up, but when the bank does I should be present 24/7z at the time, I was on plane. Also did not expect them to cal me after their working hours. I am mentioning their working hours, because the next time I called at 9pm (the line should be served until 10pm) and was told that I should not call that late. So I am really not getting why they operate the line until 10 when at 9 people tell you that you should not call.
And this is only top of the iceberg, because often when I go to the bank to ask about products they tell me I should check them online. I work in asset management industry so the questions I ask tend to be rather specific and not available online.

Been living in italy saronno more than 17 years. Want to open a NEW BANK account for my friend , went saronno branch and the LADY ON THE ENTRANCE WITH DARK CURLY HAIR … she was suppose to work in POSTA ITALIA .. bot in a bank as a customer service at all.

Lack of communication and support
For being the second largest bank in Italy, Unicredit offers a customer service that is below standard... It happened to me recently to try to use my debit card in US as I was travelling there. My card got blocked afterwards: no emails, no messages, no communication from Unicredit that they had blocked my card for security reasons... Now, while I appreciate this cautious initiative to block my card, I would have appreciated to be contacted by Unicredit to confirm whether it was really me trying to use the card abroad or not. It took me 2 phone calls to the customer service to get my card re-activated. This is not a good customer experience. I could have been left in trouble while in US since I could not use my card anymore... Just Saying...
Poor customer service
Poor customer service. They have switched my savings account to a current account while I was abroad and basically without my agreement. So from gaining minor interest I started paying them monthly charges instead. I've closed my account next time I went back to Bulgaria but lost a few quid due to their actions. Would not recommend. Avoid!

They own me, and two more of my siblings money from an inheritance from my uncle, it’s been 3 months since it was suppose to be dispersed, and still nothing. Left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. How dare they withhold money legally owed to people ! Stay away!
