On arrival I met a receptionist that greeted us and explained the price of the items to us. She was friendly and valued us as customers. She communicated to both me and my daughter nicely, we got the exact product and size we neede by her help and we left the store satisfied and my daughter was happy for the great attention and friendship.

Order ready to collect within hours, very friendly helpful service, very organised clean and tidy shop, pleasure to buy from.

Friendly, helpful, efficient service. Order arrived promptly. Happy with the products and advice given at point of sale. I am already a returning customer.

I went to the shop on the 8th aug 2023 to order a blazer and 3 P.E tops I was served by Aimee who was very helpful and polite she ordered my blazer with a 2-3 week wait - no problem! I took the P.E tops away that day.

Received the email to collect the blazer on the 23rd Aug I went on the 5th sept to collect it. When I arrived I went straight to click and collect gave over my order no to a member of staff and was told ‘oh it seems you’ve already collect your blazer’ I said I haven’t been to collect it as I only just noticed the email yesterday so I’ve come today to collect and my son returns to school the following day.

This member of staff went and spoke to other members of staff and the owner Niki and came back to me with the same answer - that I must have collected it!

So now I am faced with the owner Niki, I explained again I haven’t been to collect the blazer until today. If your system is saying that I have collected it then there has clearly been a mix up and you’ve given my order to someone else or it’s been misplaced.

Straight away Niki said no we don’t make mistake - you’ve collected it our systems says so! Then she started to tell me (in the most patronising manner) that sometimes our customers forget that they have collected there items and that she is sure I will find it if I go home and look & then to call her to let her know! She even offered to come to my home and help me look as she was that confident I had collected it! I explained that I will not be going home and looking for something I do not have! I was told that I was being a difficult customer and other customers have always just gone and looked for their items at home - but how could this be because you and your system don’t make mistakes …

After pretty much being called a lair, I asked if they have cctv so that they can check I have not been back on these premises since the day I ordered my items, at first this was going to take an hour and then 5 minutes later was going to take 3 hours.

Niki then pulled Aimee back over and got her to tell me again that I probably have collected it because it’s not here - you could see she felt very uncomfortable.
Niki then found the situation amusing and began to laugh. I asked her what was funny and as you can imagine she was unable to tell me.

After getting nowhere I left, within about 15mins I’d received a call that I missed - called back and no answer. To then receive a text to tell me that in fact they had found the blazer!
I was then ask if it was ok to come and drop it off at my home which I accepted.

Later on Aimee appeared with the blazer, an apology on behalf of Niki and box of chocolates to say sorry. I explained to Aimee that she has nothing to apologise for and thanked her for delivering.

- the fact that Niki couldn’t deliver it herself and give her own apology just emphasises how completely unprofessional she is, the whole situation was embarrassing and could have been dealt with so much better.

The only reason you still have a business to run is because of your team of staff - you clearly need to take a note!

Staff are as expected although shop is a little unorganised with staff member not able to find items, digging through boxes. Waiting times are far too long. When I placed my order I was told 3 week wait. I actually waited six weeks as this was the only school uniform shop. We now have another school uniform shop so I will be comparing wait times / prices.

I cannot recommend Uniforms By Niki enough. The service is excellent and everything you could ask for from a business.

The staff are so helpful and friendly and Niki, her family and her team, have always gone above and beyond for me, to provide an efficient and reliable service.

Home delivery is always quick and click and collect (FREE) is so convenient for me.

I have spoken to many parents across different schools and again, I hear nothing but positive experiences followed by recommendations.

I appreciate you if you have got this far in the review, so please let me assure you that from my experience and the experience of other parents I have heard, you will not regret making this your one stop shop for all school uniform.

Finally……..There are very few companies that leave such an impression that they stick with you and this local family run business (built from the ground up) will always be one of them for me but don’t take my word for it, see for yourself.

Please support them! I can only imagine how tough it is trying to compete with the large supermarket chains for uniform sales, and they really do rely on our support.
