The Shearling is a wonderful, magical, peaceful place to stay. It is filled with warmth and superb quality style, in beautiful surroundings. We all loved staying there so much we didn’t want to leave.

We stayed at Limehouse for 3 nights and it was one of the most spectacular trips we’ve ever taken. The booking process was very easy and, given the property was off the main road, there were very clear instructions given to allow us to arrive without any stress.
The actually property was stunning!! The house was renovated and designed to a very high standard and the view was incredible. The outside bath overlooking the lake was beautiful.
It was also great that we were able to bring our dog.

I will begin by mentioning how beautiful the UNIQUE HOMESTAY'S website is, and how easily we were able to navigate it.
Add to that, the excellent communication experiences we have had with everyone, from the personal representatives, to the owners, to the house cleaning staff. Their responses were always friendly, helpful and efficient.
But, the true heart stealer was the property itself. It exceeded our expectations and truly could be named, “a dream come true!”
My sister and I wanted to not only visit the COTSWOLDS but to feel like we were living there. We chose the village of BIBURY for its renowned beauty and its numerous nature walks . Finding THE FLOWER PRESS online, as our accommodation, just made the decision to come there, all the more agreeable. Yet despite our eager anticipation, we were not prepared for how much we would fall in love with THE FLOWER PRESS.
Walking into the garden from the drive, was like walking thru to another time. It was late September, flowers still blooming, the fragrance of ripe apples, moss, herbs, busy birds chirping and chattering, beckoned us forward.In view, a table with two chairs situated as if just waiting for us to sit and enjoy tea and a book. It was hard to not spend these first few minutes wandering about this lovely, private, special environment, but the front of the house, with it’s ivy covering and recessed front door was too much to resist.
After inserting the sturdy key into the lock, and pushing the handcrafted door forward, one enters the space as if coming thru a secret passage, and there before you, with gorgeous, wide plank flooring, high ceilings, sparkling chandeliers, carefully curated furnishings and decor, and the most delightful smells, (jasmine? lily? citrus?)coming from the reed diffusers. Every room we moved to had its own special feeling and character, each as wonderful as the last. Upstairs, down two stairs, around corners, special nooks and architectural moments. The details of each so very well thought out, and useful, if not just simply beautiful.
Each day we would walk the paths, streets and fields for hours, enjoying the beautiful countryside, only to become giddy in the anticipation of returning to THE FLOWER PRESS, to relax in the garden, or to lounge by a crackling fire, or to sit in the darling kitchen, enjoying our coffee, under the sky lit garden windows, not to mention, to possibly have a wonderful hot shower or a transforming soaking bath, in the fabulously outfitted bathrooms, that are quite fit for a queen. Such a treat!
The decision has been made, that we plan to return, again, and again, despite the long flight from the States, to experience the delights of THE FLOWER PRESS. (Next time, possibly bringing an additional sister, or daughter, along for the fun ;)

We stayed at a cottage on Carswell Farm and it was the best cottage we've ever used. Amazing hamper on arrival, excellent facilities with hot tub in the garden looking over the sea. Would recommend to anyone to use Unique Homestays, based on our experience.

We had a wonderful stay celebrating my 60th birthday. The house was fabulous with everything you needed for a great weekend break. Highlights include the games and cinema room and the hot tub. The decoration of the house was just lovely and the welcome pack was also a very nice surprise. Unique Homestays made the whole process easy from start to finish. Would definitely booked with them again.

We stayed at Watermark, a wonderful converted boathouse overlooking the water at Stoke Gabriel in Devon. The setting was superb, with unbeatable views over the creek and beyond. The quality of the decor was excellent as were the fixtures and fittings. Clearly a lot of love and care had been put in to the conversion by the owner. Stoke Gabriel itself is a lovely little village with a local Post Office and stores as well as a couple of pubs. The River Shack cafe is a few steps away from the property and is a good bet for breakfasts and lunches.

We went to Parr Green Hall (Scarlet Hall) for our daughter’s wedding in March. We returned this month to celebrate family birthdays. We loved every minute. The house is perfect and has everything needed for a fabulous stay and we loved the heated indoor pool and BBQ/firepit area as well as the beautiful grounds. The hosts Gail and Chris are so lovely and helpful. Hannah at Unique Homestays was really helpful and efficient and made booking easy. Can’t wait to return.

Just returned from a week in The Wool Shed and had the most incredible stay.
It was the first time we had used Unique Homestays and I can say the customer service and every interaction with them, was second to none.
The Wool Shed lived up to the description online in every aspect. We were also blessed with the weather and so explored the surrounding area, but equally it was a pleasure to get back to our cosy home for the week. We’ve definitely had the holiday blues since being back so planning where to go next! Thank you UHS and looking forward to booking our next break with you very soon

Amazing collection of properties- great customer service, excellent communication, and just all round lovely breaks. We got engaged in a Unique Homestays property, had our baby moon in one, and more recently spent half term at another- which our son declared ‘better than the Maldives’. Morse is a really special property and I’m sure we’ll be back. I would highly recommend booking your next stay through this site.

We have been using UHS for a decade now, for 18 holidays, and on every occasion we have stayed in great properties for fantastic family holidays. We have a favourite that we have been back to 8 times, which in itself has shown many improvements over that time (not that it actually needed any).

Firefly was a truly exceptional property in a beautifully secluded setting. The pictures, though very good, cannot accurately display the genuine charm and luxury of this place - it’s totally unique and a complete credit to the owner, designer and wonderful housekeeper Jane. I would highly recommend recommend Firefly and Unique Homestays for their exceptional service.

Just returned from a week at Heddwen, an amazing property. The views were incredible in all weathers and the cottage itself is beautifully designed and cosy. We loved it, would like to return. 3rd time using Unique Home stays and the experience has always been a pleasure with beautiful properties and excellent service to any queries.

I booked this as a surprise for my wife’s birthday, a milestone one, and the first weekend have had away without children for years. And what a treat it was!

First and foremost the company were excellent. Helpful, informative and very receptive to questions. I cannot fault the service from Unique Homestays.

Secondly the property. Wow! What an amazing, idyllic little place. Totally bespoke, built with love, care and attention to detail. I could not have asked for a more perfect few days away. We arrived to a warm and cosy atmosphere, with music playing through the Sonos, a beautiful array of food in the basket (butter, cheese and biscuits, fresh bread, milk, Fizz, and snacks), and the place immaculate. The Aga might have seemed daunting but there was an excellent Aga cookbook on the property and I had no issues with it at all, even though I had never used one.

I chose it for its privacy, its hot tub and the home comforts on offer, the cozy linen, the wet room style bathroom, and the decor: oh and don’t be put off by the slightly industrial look of the bathroom. The shower was excellent and the bath very comfortable for my wife. Possibly short if you are over 6’ though! The bed was amazingly comfortable too, and the sofa ideal for reading in front of the fire: the TV was well hidden if you don’t want to have it on view. We watched it one night and were more than happy/comfortable.

My only thought for future occupants would be more nice blankets. I took some from home and was very glad I did because it meant we could sit outside just that little bit longer as the evening quickly drew in.

Overall zero complaints or negative comments whatsoever. A wonderful little home from home.

From the honest description of the property, to the post-booking information, to arrival, this was an enjoyable experience. First impressions of the property were magical and once we stepped inside we felt at home. It was immaculate, smelled beautiful and had all the home comforts and more to ensure a luxury stay. Noteworthy experiences were the bedlinen, bathroom and wood burner - the weather was challenging but the property was welcoming. Thankyou for a beguiling stay; we hope to return!

One of the best experiences to renting a holiday property I have had. Everything from communication, the property, the cleanliness and the ambience from the custom app and the sound system. Quite magical when we first walked through the door. Unique Home Stays is now my first port of call for holidays.

Senara in Gwithian is an astounding property, we spent a week here and couldn’t have been happier. Excellent facilities, decor, appliances and toiletries. Would recommend Unique Homestays - any issues dealt with quickly and professionally and booking process smooth. Would love to return! This is the second property we have booked with this company and we remain impressed.

This venue was a dream. It was more perfect and magical than I ever could have imagined. It was luxury with so many different spaces for different experiences. It is decadent and ornate. I had the best weekend of my life at Florin, the owner and the staff who work at unique homestays - specifically Simone were fantastic. I would reccomend this company and this venue highly to anyone.
