I purchased a bed,mattress and headboard plus a rug very pleased with all my purchases,such a shame altrincham branch had to close. Jan.

The sales person at the Altrincham store (now closed) was very helpful in assisting us with our choice of carpet. He explained the different types of underlay that was available and the prices to match. The carpet and underlay was fitted on the arranged day. One star dropped due to no communication on the day to confirm job was going ahead.

Really poor and disjointed service.
Recieved the wrong door plates, after paying extra for Matt black plates the carpet fitters were supplied with silver ones…. So this delayed them being installed. Also recieved a phone call with only 1 hour to go before fitters arriving to inform us that one of our carpets had accidentally gone missing from the warehouse so won’t be able to fit that one today. So had to cancel plans to accommodate them being fitted on a different day the following week. And THEN the fitters arrive and open the carpet to find they’d been supplied with the wrong colour. Come on guys, do better.

Great customer service by Tom & the staff. Also the fitter was very professional & did a good job. Always use United for the service etc

Very helpful even though we tipped up just before closing time. We purchased a bed, hassle free and quick delivery, they even removed the old one and made the new one.

Lovely carpets and lino. The fitters did the whole of our home within 2 1/2 hours. We are so pleased with them.
Tom was lovely and very knowledgeable when we went into the Altrincham shop to order. Would have no issues using them again.

It’s my go to place! Bought my bed, mattress and headboard. Then bought carpet for two rooms and laminate for my kitchen. Can’t fault the service from everyone but Tom is just so helpful.

I was approached and asked if I needed any assistance when I entered the store. The female assistant was very helpful and gave me advice. She calculated my measurements to advise in size required. Happy with the shopping experience and followed up by great delivery and fitting.

Really impressed with the guys at the altrincham store. Gave me a price literally no one else could beat, process was easy, installation was quick and lads were sound lads. Definitely use again!!

The staff at United Carpets were wonderful. Chelsea answered all my questions regarding the purchase and installation of laminate flooring. My trust grew because of their transparancy of the whole procedure from start to finish. Secondly it was the laminate fitter namely Ian with 30 years experience that made me feel completely comfortable for him to proceed with laying the laminate. What a perfect wonderful flooring was laid. No short cuts but taking his own time to get the perfect correct job done. Ian is a master in his craft.
Without doubt it was my best decision to get United Carpets for my laminate flooring. I must add that it was also the amount of many colour options to choose from that was key for my choice to be made, namely Toronto Oak.
United Carpets would be my first choice again without a doubt for any more laminate I might need to be laid in the future.

Great work from start to finish. From the sales staff to the carpet fitter. Shame to hear the Altrincham store, where we bought the carpet, is closing to be replaced by a farmfoods store.

Bed ordered was incorrect size when delivered, when correct size was eventually arrived, the headboard was wrong. I spoke to the manager a couple of weeks later as when I had left a initial review they said I had been offered a refund for the delivery charge as way of apology. I hadn't, however the manager did then arrange this for me. I advised him that after only 2 weeks one of the buttons had come off the mattress. He said he would arrange for somebody to come out and repair. I'm still waiting!!!!!! Shambles would not recommend!!
Update!!!
Bed is creaky, noisy and the headboard is just cheap wood!! I've just realised after seeing what friends have purchased for the same price what a piece of rubbish we have purchased!
Please, please don't waste your hard earned money!

Easy to order great staff very friendly and good knowledge fitter was pleasant quick and tidy

I received a small double divan bed in 3 sections 2 bases and 1 headboard. Also small double mattress. On arrival the delivery men stated that they had been given 2 different sets of chrome feet for the bases. They had ensured me that I would receive a phone call to rectify the problem. No phone call received.
After they had left we noticed that we had actually received two different bases but from the same item but obviously different batches of beds. One half is higher and longer in width and length. This has caused the mattress to also not fit securely onto the bed. This also makes the bed unstable and unsafe.

Generally good, but quoted for fitting of the wrong flooring so it went up £70. Can’t fault the fitter of the LVT as he did a great job in a timely manner.

Very helpful staff. No pushy sales people trying to add stuff on. Worked within our budget. Had them fitted within a week. Friendly efficient fitters. Very reasonably priced. Highly recommend.
