Brilliant from the moment I walked into the shop. Very helpful in store. Good communication with regards to delivery. Excellent customer service.

We had a problem with our bed we rang up got straight through to a human couldn’t be more helpful on the phone advice was brilliant went into Altrincham shop everyone so friendly, knowledgeable and just bloody nice which makes a change absolutely best service we’ve ever had bed was delivered and wouldn’t go up stairs so had to choose different one again brilliant customer service bed is now in site and is the best Thankyou so much you were all a credit to your company

We went for a new mattress and found one we liked almost right away, the staff are very friendly and professional.
The only hard part is getting off the mattress 🤣🤣

Carpets and laminate fitted, not bad price for the whole house, Good quality carpets, however the carpet fitters broke my glass light shade and hid it down the side of my house and left all their food packets on the windowsills.

From entering the Altrincham branch to making our choice of carpet, to having it delivered and fitted was a truly fantastic experience. All of the team at United Carpets were friendly, polite, knowledgeable and courteous. They gave us time to choose and advised on the correct underlay. The fitter was also a really nice guy and did an excellent job leaving the rooms clean and tidy with minimal mess.
They also recommended a joiner to shave the doors down and he too was a clean worker.
Overall we’re really pleased with the quality of the carpets and the team at United Carpets Altrincham.
We would certainly recommend them and use them again.

We bought new carpets for 3 bedrooms, the hallway and stairs and paid everything upfront. The fitting was done by United Carpet on Wednesday. On the weekend, when walking on the stairs, I hurt my feet as the nails from the gripper when passing the carpet.
I called the store and the person who did the fitting come to the house to see what was the issue on Tuesday. Unfortunately, the solution given by him was not effective as I could still feel the nails after he finished. The issue seems to be with the type of gripper used. Why wasn't this seen when doing the fitting initially? Now the solution proposed was to install of smaller gripper but I would have to pay for the fitting. This is not acceptable. I can't have a carpet at home with the possibility getting hurt.

Update:We were able to get into an agreement with the store. The cost of the new fitting was shared, I paid half. At the end the issue was solved. The carpet is now fitted and doesn´t hurt anymore.

Cheap.bedroom carpet but looks great ordered online and fitted ourselves. Pity no stores near central Manchester

Been looking for a new mattress for the last few months when we went into the Altrincham branch we were surprised at how many choices they had.Chris was great he let us try out various mattresses and he told us all the points to look out for he really was so helpful . We will certainly use them again. We can't wait to have a good night's sleep when the bed is delivered next week Excellent customer service.

Staff was good, our order got delayed by 5 weeks and we had to cancel and chose a different carpet, which was very stressful but still we were okay with it understanmding the circumstances.

BUT the fitters were not good at job, the carpet was not stretched properly and not cut stright around the corners so ended up seeing the floor under sideboards and bulges due to improper fitting.
We tried to reach store, but the fitters never turned up when were given appointment, [the appointment was so vague anytime on monday and tuesday, still we made sure we were available the whole time just for nothing :-(] very very disappointmed. PLEASE DO NOT FALL for FREE FITTING adds, rather chose a known local fitter.

We have ordered Laminate, Vynl & Carpets through United Carpets Altrincham store and had a very bad experience with the product and staff. First of all the Laminate was defective and delayed a week to fit again. There were 3 different person came to install laminate, Vynl and Carpets. Laminate has been fitted a week delay and post changing defecting packs. Carpet Guy came on another day of week and he came late evening and in hurry to fit it fast and the quality of fitting was very bad. He supposed to fit carpets in couple of store rooms but he did it in hurry in one of them and left one blank. He told me that, he will do it along with Vynl, one other day the Vynl guy came and he fitted only Vynl without leveling the floor and now the floor is ups and downs, he still not fitted the store room. Calling Store office and they told me they are very busy with other work. Very Bad experience with United Carpets and Store. I am still reaching store staff to correct the Vynl and to fit the store room. Stay away from United Carpets and Store. I never recommend this to anyone. Very Bad and waste of Money and time.

The employees couldn’t be more helpful. The carpets and flooring are great quality. Don’t waste your money going anywhere else!

The price of the carpets and flooring was very reasonable. The problem was the fitting. The fitter cut the carpets too short so they have come away from the gripper rod and due to them being wool cannot be stretched. We got another fitter out who has measured for a new carpet and that was in September. Not heard anything since. Chased twice and the new manager cannot find the carpet and we are still waiting for a call. Also the laminate beading has come away from the wall. Called twice and still not got back to me. This was Altricham store. So very poor after service!

We bought laminate flooring for a bedroom/office. We had great advice and service, so friendly and informative. They arranged fitters for us who arrived on time and did a really neat and professional job

Purchased carpets from the Altrincham store and the staff were great. All very helpful and the fitters were outstanding. Helped me move all my furniture and did a wonderful job 👍
