Good service. Good pricing, and good fitting service

Well, I asked for four bedrooms with laminate flooring skirting boards, taken off underlay and lay the flooring skirting boards, fixed back 😡 I got no underlay skirting boards stayed on with White beading which I never asked for
😡😡 this shop hasn’t got a clue they are disorganised and don’t know what the other one is doing I would run a mile from the shop they don’t listen and they don’t answer our phone calls

As ordered with draw configuration as we requested delivered with good communication and old bed disposal as promised

I have had united carpets to carpet my whole house within the last few months and I can highly recommend them. They are very friendly, Reliable and do an excellent job . I would always go back to them in the future

I purchased an Ottoman bed base from United Carpets which was purchased via finance over 2 years. The last payment was made in June this year and shortly after it broke - the bed wouldn’t go back down after opening. When contacting United Carpets I was informed that the warranty on the bed is 12months from purchase which is ridiculous, why offer finance on an items and not have a warranty long enough for the payment term? However I was told on a different occasion in store it was 2 years warranty.

After weeks of back & forth complaining, I then visited the store where I was told that as gesture of goodwill (FOC) they would fix the bed as it was only a bolt that has Brocken (they original wanted me to pay £160).

In July after more chasing two installation / repair guys come out to confirm the bolt was the issue - I was expecting this visit to be a repair not them coming to take pictures.

In August I had to keep chasing and eventually the sales guy Ian in store advised that this would be sorted within 1 week (the following Friday). The following Friday approached and still no contact from United carpets&beds. They kept saying no one was getting back to me due to annual leave over lapping with the manager.

In September I went back into the store to complain to see the manager Barry who was aware of the issue, he said there isn’t anything they can do and I would have to pay the £160.00 for a new half of bed even though it was just a bolt needing to be fixed - even though they already promised this free of charge as gesture of goodwill back in July.

I am a 74 year old lady who uses the ottoman bed for storage and I am now unable to lift open & close my ottoman bed.

The customer service at United Carpets and Beds at crossgates is ridiculous and I would not recommend them as they seem to enjoy ignoring people and giving incorrect information.

Very good customer service game me all the information about the different types of mattresses and how they work. Let me try them out in the showroom.Good range of beds and value for money.

We have used United Carpets over the years and have never been disappointed, from the start to the finish great service and advice from Barry and his staff in the Crossgates branch to arriving on time with no problems and finally fitted by Martin a brilliant carpet fitter and a hard worker and so helpful. Great team

Abysmal customer service. Ordered LVT with a 15 year warranty. Relaid once but now have issues again with separation and de-lamination.

Numerous emails ignored by branch and head office so having to pursue via small claims.

Store staff don’t have any autonomy to make decisions without the blessing of the manager who makes empty promises and fails to get back to you. Would avoid at all costs.

Good customer service, friendly shop staff. Arrived when said it would. Only issue I had which is not their fault is that my son couldn't actually sleep on the bed saying it was way too hard and uncomfortable. So in the end was a lot to pay out for a bed I couldn't use 😔

I was impressed with the staff in branch who offered helpful and direct advice, not trying to upsell but giving me straight advice for a product within my budget range. They organised installation at a reasonable price and the fitter turned up and did a nice tidy job with no fuss. Overall a very professional and refreshing experience where everything went to plan and they did exactly as promised.

Barry and the team were spot on. Helped us with our carpet choice and provided very useful advice.
Martin the carpet fitter was superb, as always.

Very quick, came round, gave a quote and carpets were down within 4 days. Carpet fitter was very tidy, left no mess.

Fantastic customer service. The lads in the shop (CrossGates) branch, were extremely helpful, didn't pressure us into the dearest stuff, they left us to pick our own materials and were helpful in informing us regarding price, labour and delivery dates

After been recommended by family to take a look at United carpets and beds to carpet my two bedroom flat. I was greeted by Ian with some great advice, not pushy, didn't rush me, arranged someone to come and measure up that same week then I was told to go back in my own time to choose my carpet and underlay and was given a very good price. Carpet fitter Mike, amazing did it all on his own, very polite, left no mess, even the inside of my built in cupboards were carpeted. Fully recommend, amazing service, I would certainly go there again. Many thanks.

Nothing wrong with the service but my son finds the bed really uncomfortable and cannot sleep well. I have just had to order a mattress topper to see if that improves it. It may be better once he's broke the bed in a bit as still only been about 4 weeks.
