From the ads, photos and reviews I've seen, I feel like the boxes are a bit of a letdown. I've got 3 boxes so far and each seems to have similar items every month, even though they're from a different country. For example, every shipment I've gotten has had some kind of "ketchup" flavored chip. Why? I get that these are supposed to be very different but I find myself throwing most of it away. Hopefully they get better as I've paid for a year subscription and this does not seem worth it...

This is the favorite gift I have ever given myself. The booklets that accompany the box are thoughtfully crafted with fun trivia and educational nuggets. I truly believe that we can learn a great deal about ourselves, others, and other cultures through food. To read a quick summary of each item in the box is wonderful. Taste is subjective so there have been items I have found less tasty than others, but that is part of the fun. Universal Yums also recognizes this and turns the tasting into a game between customers, which adds to the overall enjoyment of receiving the box.

I'm the director of a memory care in Indiana. I purchase universal yums for my residents as a special travel program. We. Are. In. Love! Most of my residents have lived, were born or traveled outside of the U.S. ALOT in their lives and this gives them an opportunity to explore countries they never got to travel to or to reminisce on experiences they had in the past. I love that its an entire program! We have passports that we use each "trip" and use the music, movies and food ideas universal yums sends with to have a full day travelling through new places!

Great snacks and very unique countries and very fun experience opening a new box every month

I enjoy trying the difference foods and learning about different cultures. This box is a lot easier for me than traveling to all the different places but I am still able to experience some of it

These are so much fun. The kids and I look forward to a new box each month and the opportunity to learn a little about the world around us through food.

The package always arrives on time, packed full of fresh goodies that I have never tasted before. New tastes on the pallet are always good. I look forward to the new eating experience every month.

For those who are food adventurous, universal yums is what you need! Great snacks and goodies, trivia and games. Customer service is amazing too! I had a package that came to me destroyed and some of my snacks were unable to eat. Customers service responded very quickly and a new box came within days.
I also love the yums store! Sometimes you just need a little more lol

My husband and I love trying new foods from around the world. We enjoy the trivia pamphlet that comes with the treats too. Lately having an item to use in cooking a meal is super fun. The only thing is all the gummy treats. Would like to see some diversity.

Universal Yums is the subscription box I wish I had as a kid. I have always loved studying other countries and dreaming of travel (I haven't the budget often to do more than dream) and I love being able to experience other countries through snacks - this is one of my favorite things and I love traveling the world through my stomach <3

My wife and I look forward to these monthly shipments. I love tasting the delicious along with the weird. The whole point for us is to experience something different from our normal Midwest snacking. They go above and beyond with toys and games, which are probably more applicable to families with younger children than us. But we still appreciate the effort and quality. I highly recommend Universal Yums!

We love our boxes each month and all the wonderful information included! We've even ordered some of our favorites from the Yum shop, such a fun and great experience!

We love getting our monthly yum box, not only do we receive some tasty treats but love the info sent with it. Customer service is top notch also. If you trying to decide if you want to buy, don't hesitate. We use ours for a monthly date night.

I ordered my subscription box as a gift for a 5 year old girls birthday gift and she really loves it she gets excited every month and that makes me very happy. It was and is a great gift and I'm super happy I subscribed.

Since we started Universal yums, it has been a new experience in a box. Not only from snacks from different countries, but you get interesting facts & history as well. Really have enjoyed every "adventure"!

I have gotten the boxes for 4 months, I eat most of the products I get. I just don't care for coconut, so I give those away to people I know.

I've gotten four boxes so far & I've enjoyed them all. The box from the Czech Republic was the one that went the quickest but that might be because I have a sweet tooth. For $17 a month I get to try five different snacks from a country I've never been to or food I've never had I love this idea and I'm glad I stumbled across it

I look forward every month to my yums box.There are so many new things I have never heard of from around the world.Some are delicious,and some not so much lol.That is what makes it such a culinary adventure. I'm so glad I learned about Universal Yums.My box has never been late arriving.I would recommend them to anyone wanting to explore the world through your taste buds.
