They provided good service every step of the way; however, there were some problems with checking mails. Sometimes the e-mails you send there are not read. The person who worked with me was very helpful, but unfortunately, I couldn't catch his name since they forgot to write it when replying to the company mail. :) (maybe the reason why the e-mails gets forgotten time to time since I couldn't address the agent specifically)

It was quite a smooth and quick process to rent from Urban Ground. I saw the apartment online and booked it and the next day after submitting my documents, it was quickly checked and confirmed. I could not see the apartment in person before moving in but I was very happy with the condition of the apartment on move-in day, and the whole handover process was well done! I recommend renting from Urban Ground!

Had a great experience from viewing, signing the contract and moving in to the apartment. It's been great so far

Everything was really new and well planned out, getting the residence was super stress free, my only issue was that I was promised the apartment would be cleaned and I still had to come do it myself even though I did not move in immediately

The accomodation is good and clean. The Staffs are friendly and helpful. Thank you and i wish the Urban Ground Team success.

I do not generally write reviews but feel it is necessary to make people aware of the risks they are taking by signing up to Urban ground accommodation.

My daughter rented a room in a shared appartment through urban ground in Berlin, early 2023.

There were minor issues with the room in that it was not furnished as advertised. Unfortunately these were addressed at our expense

Within a few days of arriving, one of the two shared toilets broke in the appartment. The Urban ground team are extremely difficult to get in touch with when something like this goes wrong.

And when notified, Urban ground stated my daughter was liable for the repair and not the previous or other tenants already living there.

This matter was eventually resolved but at whose cost?

Urban ground have some peculiar habits, including emailing photos of dirty bathrooms to several tenants insinuating that the tenants have not kept their bathrooms clean and tidy, stating penalties (loss of deposit I presume) will be applied when in fact your bathroom is perfectly clean.

My daughter is back home now some 5 months (August 2023) with no sign of our deposit (2 months rental) prepaid back in February 2023. Urban ground state that have up to 6 months to return this money which is disappointing news for any student to hear, especially considering we paid the deposit within 24 hours of their request to secure the accommodation.

As a parent assisting their offspring with accommodation in Berlin and based on my experience so far, I would give Urban ground 3/10 and would not use this company again.
Their website is very slick, the team look very professional, the reviews look great, but sadly looking professional is a long way from being professional and their customer service is lacking in customer service in too many ways. Communicating by email has provided to be very difficult in that you do not get any meaningful response or help other than lip service.

My daughters stay and our concern for her wellbeing using this landlord proved to be uncertain, unreliable and very stressful at times.

It took me 2.5 years to know that these guys are cheaters, they will eat away your deposit money will not give a penny back to you for all the silly reasons. Very hard to reach out to a conclusion. I stayed with them for almost 2.5 years, there was a damage that I reported during my tenancy and they tried to make me to pay for non damaged items as well so they didn't get it repaired. After I vacate the property they didn't refund my money till date( 6 months after I vacate), they didn't bother to inform me about the refund. After I send query about my money they turned me down saying the damage costs are covered half my deposit, remaining half is for cleaning and painting ( for small patches). 3000 euros they charge me. Do not trust these guys, do not put your hard earned money into their pockets which you will never see again. Very bad experience, they take advantage of expats who can't complain or fight them. At first they speak and respond in a timely manner to get you into their property, after you vacate their property then they will show you their true colours. You can find houses in Berlin without these guys help, be patient. I stayed in different countries but never came across such scammers.

Urban Ground was incredibly helpful and responsive, answering all of my questions in a timely and friendly manner. They made the whole process of finding and securing an apartment in Berlin much simpler than I anticipated. I appreciated their professionalism and attention to detail.

We paid Urbanground 100 euros to reserve an appartment. On their website they state that they will return this money if you cancel within 24 hours. That is exactly what we did. We didn't recieve any money back after more than three weeks and Urbanground does not respond to our e-mails.

Apart from this all the houses on offer are incredibly overpriced. This is a company that uses the current situation around housing in Berlin to make a lot of money. Of course this is not illegal, but in my opnion it isn't a fair way to make money either.

We had very good experience with urban ground. Everything went smoothly. Searching for an apartment, viewing it, signing the contract, Move in handoff, the stay, move out handoff and refund of deposit. The support team is amazing at urban ground. They listen and do their best to accommodate the request. I always recommend urban ground to anyone who is looking for ready to move in house . We also received the refund amount within 2 weeks which is great as per the timelines compared to other providers. No complaints. It was a very pleasant partnership.

Urban Ground is an excellent choice to find a home, offering a great reachability about itself and as for the houses and apartments offering completeness with many details, with a great team quickly responding to contacts and possible questions with high professionality and care.
I've been assisted very kindly and efficiently since my first contacts, and helped during the various phases of the handling of the procedures to be able to get my new home.
The place is very nice and comfortable, in an amazing state, with very good finishes, welcoming and greatly equipped and organized.
Also after my move-in, I've been able to get a very good support for any question or necessity of contact, having the team to be very attentive to my preferences and well responding and proactive in solving any possible problem, more then being very good reachable.
Plus, having the possibility to speak English since the beginning and during all of the contacts makes the whole process very easier if needed.
Finally, the life inside the house is very good, is possible to relax and the area around is very nice as the building is well located, giving every day a fabulous living experience.

Moving to a different country is very difficult, especially with a family. Thanks to Urbanground, our move to Berlin was simple, efficient and very convenient. The apartment was very well furnished and in a beautiful location. The handover was also very smooth, along with support.

Had a great experience with Urban Ground in Berlin. The booking works on a first-come-first-served basis so it saves you a lot of the headaches of going through the painful process of housing search in Berlin. Even though the rent prices may be comparatively a little higher (anyway, renting costs are out of control around the world in 2022), the apartments are in great condition and the service is very professional. They also give support in English for non-german speakers. I had a few questions regarding the apartment and the Urban Ground team responded very quickly via phone and e-mail. Overall I would definitely recommend the service and I'm very happy I discovered Urban Ground. Cheers Filipe

It was convenient moving to a new apartment with Urban Ground. The apartment was really clean and nice and they took care of everything and were really supportive.
