US Coachways - best bus company around!!!

US Coachways is an awesome experience from booking with Tony Tommasino to the excellent communication about our bus ---- to our bus arriving on time and having a great driver!
I could not be more happy with our experience.

And for me personally - who books the reservation that 26 people are counting on -- to have a company that I can depend - EVERY TIME - means the world to me!
Thank you US Coachways for being The Best!!!!

Unbelievable disappointment

I wanted to share with you and let you know that they cancelled our bus. The night before the trip at 10:10 pm they sent this email. I was already in bed and not on my email. Nor did I check when I got up, got ready for work, and came into work. I hit the ground running making sure everyone was here, accounted for, gathering snacks and water bottles for them etc.This trip was for senior citizens. Arrival time was to be at 8am... So at 8:05 I started to worry... went into my office, checked my email and saw this from the night before. Can I tell you how upset I was?? I literally could not believe that they had no back-up plan. I had all of those people waiting... reservations for breakfast and reservations for a $4250.00 show. I called and a man who could barely speak English said yeah, no bus and that they tried to call me which they did not. I checked my cell and office #... nothing. Our entire trip was ruined. I just wanted you to know that this was the worst experience I have ever had to deal with.

Bus no-showed and 4 months later still no refund

On July 19, 2023, we booked two buses for a group airport transfer. Unfortunately, only one bus showed up and we were forced to hire Ubers to transport our group to the airport so they didn't miss their flights. We agreed to a partial refund for the bus that no-showed. After multiple emails and phone calls, it is now 4 MONTHS later and we are still waiting for a refund. I tried to call the finance department, but the number diverts to Customer Service, who refer me back to finance.

We hired US Coachways about a week…

We hired US Coachways about a week before our wedding. We had another bus company booked and paid for since April; however, when we called two weeks before our wedding date to go over details they did not respond to our calls or emails. We were in a bit of a panic, so we called US Coachways, they were able to accommodate our date, very responsive and all around amazing!!! The woman who helped us was Melissa and she was on top of everything for us, we can not thank them enough. The bus driver was so great and we got us back to our hotel safe and sound. I would highly recommend using this company!!

Great Experience- We ran an ambitious…

Great Experience- We ran an ambitious bus tour with 17 stops and 30 guests. Everything from the great booking experience, to the comfort of the bus, to the responsive dispatch team, to the graciousness and expertise of our driver made us confident that the day would be a success and it was! Many many thanks to the team at US Coachways.

AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE

On October 7, 2023, I contracted US Coachways to take 55 people round trip from Milford, CT to West Point, NY for a tailgate trip to the West Point VS. Boston College football game. Our pickup time was scheduled for 6:30 AM. We paid the bus company in full four months prior. On October 7th, while waiting in the parking lot for bus pick up, US Coachways called and said that the bus had been in an accident and they would send another bus to come pick our group up in 1 hour. At 6:45 AM, I called back and was told they were still trying to get a bus. At 7:00 AM I called again and was told they were now unable to send any bus for us. At this point we were stranded with no way to transport 55 people to our planned event. Now 55 people were not only out $52.00 each for bus transportation but they were also out $62.00 each per game ticket.

On October 7th I received a promotional email from US Coachways offering $250.00 off of our next trip; this was not a solution. I have placed numerous phone calls to Veronica Miller, (800-359-5991 X 272) US Coachways manager; she has not returned any phone calls. I got through to Michele Garzone, a salesperson; she told me we would not be reimbursed and she would email Veronica Miller to return to my phone calls.

To this day, there has been no direct communication from US Coachways to reimburse us or rectify our situation.

The customer service from US Coachways is nonexistent. It has been a month since the incident occurred and US Coachways has not contacted us or tried to come up with any solution. This has been an extremely frustrating, time consuming and costly experience for me. I cannot express my bad feelings/displeasure with US Coachways in handling (not handling) my situation.

I understand that things happen, but this is unacceptable business. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND US Coachways to anyone looking for bus transportation in the future! Our contract was not fulfilled by US Coachways, therefore we are asking for our money back, not only for bus transportation ($2800.00), but also for the 55 football tickets ($3430.00) that we were unable to use for lack of transportation.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Our school district reserved buses for two trips to major competitions for our marching band. Both trips the company called to cancel less than hour before we were supposed to depart. So far I have not heard a good reason... BUT TWICE!!! Once is bad enough.
There is not anything you can do to make this 100%, but at the very least a full refund should be issued without delay.

Our driver was fantastic. He arrived early and was very polite and professional. He maintained a positive attitude for the entire trip and was friendly to all of our passengers.

The worst consumer experience I have ever had.

I gave one star because it does not allow zero. I am not one to write reviews, but I must warn everyone on this site to stay away from this company. I rented a 20 person bus on October 15th. The bus was supposed to arrive at 1:15PM. At 1:30 I called their dispatcher and they told me they were 5 minutes away. At 1:45 I called their dispatcher and they told me the driver was now stuck in traffic and was 20 minutes away. They gave me the street and town where the driver was supposedly stuck, but I checked google maps and there was no traffic there. In any event, I waited until 2:10 and called their dispatcher again. I was told that the driver was now 25 minutes away! I asked them how could this be, especially when I see no traffic in that area and they said that is all they know. I called at 2:40 and then I was told that the driver is lost, he does not speak English well and that they will be sending a new bus that will arrive at 3:40. I told them to cancel the bus and we immediately called three uberXL and crammed into the vehicles. We were going to a NY Jets football game. We had a series of pre-game festivities that we were going to for the kids. We missed all of them and arrived well late to the game. I was shocked by how this company treated me. Each time I called I was put on on hold for 10 minutes. Each time I was told they were coming, they had no idea what was happening. And, when they cancelled and ordered a new bus, they acted as though it was no big deal. I am writing this because they ruined our bday celebration and I don't want anyone else to experience this. Please move on to another company. Check their references and don't be swayed by the salespeople who sound great, but throw their hands up when things go poorly. I hope I helped you avoid this problem.

Customer support was great when we were…

Customer support was great when we were making the reservation and hit a snag with log-in. Emails were clear and updates were timely. Bus driver arrived early and was accomodating. Drove safely. Got us to our event and back exactly as planned. Thanks
