I had a dilemma and Customer Service…

I had a dilemma and Customer Service Team, a young lady named Marilyn helped me out and went above and beyond to assist and stayed on the phone until the problem was rectified. I am more than grateful, and I will tell everyone I know that needs this type of service to come here.

They are very reliable

They are very reliable. Everything works as it should. I have never had a mishap with my mail handling. When I need customer support for any reason, they are always very responsive.

Misleading/Dishonest

for weeks and weeks I would get an email saying i had mail, yet only error messages or “no completed scans” when i logged in. I continued paying for the service bc it was cheap at only $15 a month and included scans.

That changed today when I found that I was charged $90 for scans, storage, etc. dated June and July? I still have no way of confirming due to the constant errors. I can’t view any mail. It literally says there is no mail/no scans in my inbox. I was told plans were inclusive and pricing is transparent but that is not the case. My mail isn’t even transparent. I have no way of knowing they even have it. And a random $90 charge is strange to me when I have never paid over $15-20 a month.

I was getting very little value from this service. Couldn’t access the mail they had and after 6+ months of $15ish charges to just randomly get hit with this $90 feels really fishy. At best I feel incredibly mislead and at worst- scammed. I would avoid using this service at all costs.

Billing for Scans: Regarding the charge of $90, this is a cumulative billing for all the scan services utilized over the period, which is billed at the end of each month. This ensures that you only pay for the scans you've asked for.

Communication and Clarifications: We appreciate that you reached out to us via email and phone, and we hope our explanations were helpful. If there remains any part of the service or billing you're unclear about, we're more than willing to go over it with you again.

Pricing Transparency: We pride ourselves on providing 100% transparent pricing. Our pricing page lists (https://www.usglobalmail.com/pricing/), all charges and potential add-ons clearly. Additionally, we've made the pricing page part of our signup flow so customers have to view it before proceeding to sign up for the service. I'm sorry you assumed scans were included in the subscription billing- we do not say or allude to this anywhere on our website and communications.

Storage Policies and Pricing Structure: The pricing regarding mail handling, storage, and related charges have remained consistent and are clearly listed on the website and pricing pages.

100% Satisfied with US Global Mail Service

I have been thoroughly satisfied with my experience using US Global Mail services. Notification, scanning and forwarding all work perfectly and turn-around times are quite rapid. I have had only one occasion to contact Support and the response was quick, professional, courteous and effective. I highly recommend US Global Mail for anyone relocating outside the United States for an extended period.

True to the name

I've used the service to send documents from the US to Czechia. Everything went smooth - from creating the account, to receiving mail, reviewing and forwarding (you are offered a set of mail providers with different service speeds/price points). The support is magnificent, they were helping me track the shipment since it took 20+ days to arrive using USPS Priority Mail International (quick to exit the US, super slow in Europe). I can only recommend!

I've closed my account

I decided to close my account, not having any use for it before. They charged my credit card $600 to auto-renew my account--with absolutely no warning or message that it was coming due. Then, when I decided to cancel, refused to refund any of it because it was against their policy. I'm filing a dispute with my credit card company and have no idea if it'll do any good, but be careful on your way out. They'll try to rip you off for every cent they can, and you should never trust a company that tries to rip you off on your way out.

If you can create a virtual card that you can turn off and turn it on explicitly when you are expecting a charge before turning it off again, I'd highly recommend it. That way, they can't charge anything to your credit card that you don't explicitly allow.

Updated to add: They did finally refund the transaction (and the entire amount, no less, which wasn't even what I expected or asked for), so there is that, and maybe there was a problem with their notification system--I don't know--but at least they finally did the right thing, so I'll upgrade my recent experience to 3 stars. This really shouldn't have happened in the first place.

Upon reviewing your account, we realized that you did not receive our renewal notification emails. We send these out a week before renewal. And even after, if a customer states they don't want the service, we promptly refund when notified within 30 days of the charge.

We rely on our payment processor to send these emails. We are working with our payment processor to check when happened. But we take full responsibility for it and have processed a refund of $600 to your credit card. You should have received an email and the refund already by now.

Customer for over 5 years and they have never missed a beat.

Satisfied customer with lingering concerns

I have been a customer for almost five years or so. I have been well served except for the hacking situation. That bothered me a bit, but I have faith that since then, that my mail is secured. Having doubts in security and privacy when I am having some sensitive mail opened and scanned is a concern of mine, but like I said. I have faith in US Global Mail that everything is secure and private.

I PAID THEM $400 FOR 3-5 DELIVERY DHL SHIPMENT…

I PAID THEM $400 FOR 3-5 DHL DAY SHIPMENT TO ECUADOR. THEY DID NOT TELL ME I NEEDED NOR PROVIDED PASSPORT PHOTOS AND COMMERCIAL INVOICE REQUIRED BY DHL AND IT HAS BEEN TWO WEEKS OF MY CALLING THEIR LACK OF SERVICE AND I AM OUT OF NEEDED MEDICAL SUPPLIES AND WILL BE HOSPITALIZIZED. NOT ONLY DID THEY RIP ME OFF FOR $400, NOT DO THEIR JOB - WHO WILL PAY THE HOSPITAL BILLS? FIND ANOTHER COMPANY FOR YOUR NEEDS - US GLOBAL MAIL WAS FINE FOR TWO YEARS - NOW I AM RESEARCHING NEW SERVICES.

it is not my job to know and follow transport rules. You claim that is your business - well you certainly screwed me ON ALL YOU DON'T KNOW OR WERE TOO CARELESS on this one. YOU SHOULD KNOW YOUR BUSINESS. It is not my business to know yours, just give you info and pay my bills. All that response you try to brag about are all scripted form letters, verbatim and none gave me answers to questions asked. I have more than a dozen unreturned calls I MADE in less than two weeks, your "Customer Service" reps read strictly from scripts and have no idea what to do with any deviation. Or even how to get your site - which is a mess proving you paid the cheapest and got the worst - to work properly.

I MADE IT VERY CLEAR I NEEDED THESE MEDICAL SUPPLIES SENT AS FAST AS POSSIBLE, PAID $400+ TO HAVE THAT DONE AND YOUR COMPANY DIDN'T EVEN NOTIFY ME WHEN A PROBLEM/CHANGE OF RULES/WHATEVER IT WAS HAPPENED. I camped out at DHL for a week. I SPENT TWO DAYS ON THE PHONE LEAVING MESSAGES TO US GLOBAL MAIL THAT WERE NEVER RETURNED AND FINALLY HAD TO TURN TO DHL TO FIND OUT US GLOBAL MAIL WAS NOT DOING ITS JOB.

LEAVING ME IN A HORRIBLE MEDICAL SITUATION AND IN THE PROCESS OF DESIGNING A SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGN TO NOTIFY OTHERS OF YOUR LACK OF EXPERTISE AND SERVICE. \

YOU OWE ME THE $400 (I AM USING ROUNDED DOWN AMOUNTS - PAY ME WHAT YOU OWE ME) AND ANY OTHER COSTS INCURRED B Y YOUR LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM, LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE AND REFUSAL TO EITHER DISCUSS INTELLIGENTLY AND or know how to SOLVE THE PROBLEM or find someone who could. In fact, I was told NO ONE at US GLOBAL Mail could fix it and so I paid an IT guy (not cheap) to check all the IT in my house and my IT is primo - the problem is not mine.

YOU SOUND LIKE SOMEONE IN WAY OVER YOUR HEAD. FIX IT. PAY MY UPCOMING HOSPITAL BILLS, THE SHIPPING FEES THAT WERE NEVER PROPERLY ACTED UPON, AND YOU OWE ME A BIG APOLOGY. A HUGE ONE IN PERSON, FROM SOMEONE I HAVE BEEN TOLD DOES NOT EXIST - THE HEAD OF YOUR COMPANY.

THAT ONE OF YOUR CUSTOMER LACK OF SERVICE PEOPLE WOULD FLAT OUT LIE AND TELL ME NO ONE WAS OVER HER, THERE WAS NO CEO AND IT WAS MY PROBLEM - NOT THEIRS EVEN THOUGH THEY MADE THE HORRIBLE OMISSIONS OF DOCUMENTS THAT HAVE CAUSED ME A MEDICAL NIGHTMARE BEYOND YOUR WILDEST DREAM.

WHY WOULD YOU DO BUSINESS WITH A COMPANY LIKE THAT? AS SOON AS i FIND A GOOD ONE, i WON'T BE. i HAVE BEEN RIPPED OFF IN A BIG WAY AND HAVEN'T EVEN GOTTEN A "SORRY OUR FAULT" FOR IT.
