I signed up for this service on Sept. 4th. I told them my computer was old and very slow, and I just wanted to clean it to speed up. I am a travel writer doing an assignment in El Salvador. I planned to buy a new computer when I returned to the States. After checking my computer, the Rep told me it just needed cleaning. Then he tried to sell me a three-year plan; I explained I just wanted to have it cleaned so I could finish my assignment here and would make a decision when I returned to the States. The Rep. insisted that I have a yearly plan for $19.95 a month, and then he said he would give it to me for $189.00.
I did not want this, but I needed my computer, so I agreed to it to finish my work here. The Rep. then told me that a Tech would call me and do the cleaning. A Tech named Edgardo called me and performed the cleaning; he then sent me an email telling me it was complete. I then went in and checked my computer; there was no difference in the speed, and my Office 365 wouldn't open up. I emailed them explaining my problems and asked them to email or call me; I received no response. The next day, a local came in and checked my computer. He said he would charge me $70.00 to fix it. However, this did not work either, so I had him return; he said the computer was old and had too many problems, and he returned my fee. I then called your company's service number, and a lady took my information and said the tech would call me. That was on Sept.5th; I am still waiting for someone to call or contact me. I am very unhappy with this company.

I was talked into this service a year ago and never used it. Then I get a renewal charge in January, and I shrugged it off. then I get another 19.95 in February. I am fairly computer literate so I called to get it off. All I wanted was the system mechanic software I have been using for years to have the password manager that I am familiar with. Customer service IS Horrible, All they do is try to FORCE you into the subscription the will NOT listen to you. I had to start yelling at the guy that I was going to cancel everything if they didn't do what I wanted, Now I am going to have to find a better company, sad cause they used to be good now they just try to force feed you services
Consider this an addendum to my previous review of this company. These people provided Tech Support for my System Mechanic software. I stupidly allowed them to remote into my computer to help with problems I was experiencing. I had let them do it previously without any issues. This time they put a back door into my system, hacked my two laptops, got into my bank acccounts and credit cards. I had to completely rebuild my financial life from the ground up. I have filed a report about the entire fiasco with the FBI. Today I contacted them because they were trying to process an automatic payment for my System Mechanic software. I had tried several times to go into my account to cancel my financial information, but they have blocked me from accessing my OWN ACCOUNT INFORMATION so I could do that. So now I'm hurriedly trying to keep the payment of $19.95 from processing. Don't know yet whether I'll be successful, although I believe if it goes through I can recoup it via the card they charged it to. Fingers crossed. Trust me, you do not want to deal with this Tech Support group, they are thieves. And NEVER let anyone remote into your computer, no matter how trustworthy you believe them to be. HARD LESSON LEARNED.
MY TECH CORRECTLY DIAGNOSED MY PROBLEM BASED ON MY DESCRIPTION AND DID THE TESTING THAT CONFIRMED HIS DIAGNOSIS. HE ALSO PROVI8DED ME WITH RECORDS TO FACILITE MY WARRANTEE CLAIM. hE WAS CLOEAR, PROFESSIONAL AND PLEASANT. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM.
