US Tech Support is incredibly helpful

US Tech Support is incredibly helpful. Jan Torrente is wonderfully patient, understanding and kind. His knowledge is top notch. He also takes the time to explain what we should be looking for, how we can tell if something is protected, etc.

Macky helped me get back my email and web browser after someone from USTECHSUPPORT.COM convinced me to change my web browser.

Someone on his staff convinced me to change my web browser. It caused me to loose my email and my main screen with all my icons. He called and worked on it for over an hour and was able to restore much of what we lost. He wants us to contact Scott (our son-in law) to see if he can remember what the password is for "despain" We remember the password for administrator but we don't remember ever seeing the other one "despain" until Macky discovered it.

The tech support has always been great, but the ticket set up can be painful.

The tech support has always been great.
However, the initial intake process to create a ticket is typically painful and unpleasant due to the agent always trying to update my subscription or sell me a new product. What if I were to call 5 times in a month for help? Am I going to get a sales presentation each time?
Although I do not generally mind a quick sales presentation....the agents are always very persistant...to a fault. Today they told me that my subscription was about to expire and then when I asked them to tell me the expiration date, I found out it is 5 months away (certainly not "about to expire"). Plus the language the agent uses makes it sound like they cannot proceed with creating my ticket unless I take action on updating my subscription. Then when I agreed to consider the "offer" for updating my subscription (so they can email me the offer renewal), they want me to commit to a specific time when I will be updating. All of this is very frustrating when I, the customer, have a computer that is not working properly and I am in great need to be back up and running so I can do my work (on the computer) to earn a living.
Having a pushy sales presentation when you are already feeling stressed by not being able to do your work makes for a bad mix.
Suggestion: be mindful of how the customer may be feeling or what they are experiencing at the moment.

Browser was not loading

I explained my issues to the associate and he had a tech take over and as far as I know right now everything is fixed that was causing my problems and I am very grateful for the quick way my computer was worked on.

Slow laptop & Annoying Popups

My laptop had become a bit slow and I also had some black screens popping up all the time. After only a few minutes Edgar took care of both issues and now my laptop is running faster and no popups! Very good service for the price!
