What a great company! We needed a sophisticated machine for our son to create film industry visual effects using the software Houdini. Utopia, in particular Ryan, were very patient with us in fine tuning our specification.
The machine we received is excellent, built by Sean and team, it performs well and the price was competitive.
Always helpful and responsive.

We had a problem with one computer we bought form Utopia and after checking with them to arrange a collection, in only 3 days we had it back, fixed and ready for business. Not only they are reliable, but they know what they are doing, they like what they are doing and they are so darn good at it. 3 computers we have bought to them so far and any other of our previous ones that need replacement is going to be a new order with them.

First time using Utopia, but they're now top of my list. My PC was built exactly as specified, and quickly delivered.
Ran into a problem a few days later (which as it turned out was my fault!), and got immediate, cheerful, detailed telephone support.

I pretty much never leave reviews of any organization, but these guys deserve recognition.

Cannot believe how wonderful these guys are, I didn’t have a hardware problem, I was being blocked from my Hotmail account and Ryan was amazing in getting me set up again. His patience and knowledge whilst letting me know he was happy to help in anyway he could, went way above and beyond what other companies would do to support me. I had spent 4/5 hours trying to work it through myself on the Microsoft website and in exasperation went into Utopia to see if they could advise me. This is a company that delivers in service, expertise and a wonderful customer experience, can’t praise them highly enough.

I bought a Utopia gaming laptop about 6 years ago. It was super easy to put together, they offered fair finance options and my laptop was built and shipped quickly and arrived in perfect condition.

A couple of keys had different symbols, such as no pound sign but a dollar sign instead, so I messaged Utopia to see what they said, willing to ignore the keys as it wasn't a huge issue. Utopia responded quickly and extremely helpfully, offering to send new keys immediately, so issue sorted super quickly with no issues at all!

I fell in love with the gaming laptop as soon as I used it, it was so much faster than any other laptop I've used, has amazing graphics for gaming and looked so slick! I have been smitten ever since. Recently I started getting BSoD and my laptop crashing. I remembered Utopia offers free lifetime tech support so I did my own research into the issue, did some troubleshooting then reached out to Utopia for advice. I couldn't ask for a more helpful, friendly company to work with; Craig went above and beyond to give multiple steps to fix the issue, emailing back and forth once I'd done the first troubleshooting steps to then offer more, then rinse and repeat until we had done everything we could. Turns out it was a hardware issue, which is to be expected after 6 years of use, so I replaced the SSD myself with ease and have had no issues since.

I couldn't recommend this company more, and always rave about them if the conversations arises. Thanks to their brilliant products and customer service, I know I will be a Utopia customer for life. Why wouldn't I be? I want to support a small company who also support their customers. I got all that help and support for free - they didn't even suggest I send the laptop back for themselves to repair it, which I expected to happen and was more than happy to do and pay for their services. Like I say, I will always support Utopia and highly recommend them to anyone.

I've used Utopia for over a decade with computer issues and desktop builds, and they've always done me right.

They are honest with the pricing, more than happy for me to bring in parts I've bought online, and never stingy with extras (they gave me a free charger after a laptop repair since I've been a longtime customer)

They're the only computer store in Scotland I trust completely, and would recommend them to anyone, regardless of technical knowhow.

I had to write this review. Five star service from beginning to end , our company had a couple of issues with email Mails & data information and problems with laptops Craig and his team in the Kilmarnock office went above and beyond to keep our company running. Honestly, I cannot rate this company high enough in any awards or accolades that they receive will be fully deserved.. Keep up the good work. Would not hesitate to recommend to my business and family contacts.

10/10 experience, ordered and requested a new Gaming PC build from them and it came out great.

They built the perfect PC with the budget I gave them and even sold me their very first 50 series graphics card which they ordered specifically for the build! Shows how far they go for their customers!

Craig was great, always giving consistent informative updates on pricing, current status of the build and delivery.

The PC they built runs phenomenally well, exactly what I’ve been looking for and I couldn’t be happier with the performance and appearance of the PC.

The staff were also super nice when I was collecting the PC, they informed me on all the parts, extra cables they threw in for free!!! And also how to set it up so I wouldn’t have any problems when I got it home.

If I ever have trouble in the future I will be sure to go to them for assistance.

I was looking up pc repair shops in my home town of Kilmarnock and found about 8 or 10 shops and they all had five stars appart from one which had four stars and found that hard to believe . A few months ago i purchased a new electrical item from Utopia Computers in Glencairn Street ,Kilmarnock which cost maybe just over £30 which turned out to be faulty and with my sis in law returned it for a refund but was told there was a handling charge of £15. When i questioned the handling charge he pointed to the front door which was now closed and pointed out to the sign above it which stated thhe handling charge. I pointed out to him that any charges should be visible on entering the shop and not on the way out of the shop adding it is illegal and also stressing my new purchase was faulty. He then reduced the handling charge to £4. At the end of the day no charge was made. The department of fair trading would have a field day. Shows how desperate they are to get your money. Incidentally that shop has a five star rating!.
Update. Replied to Craig at craig@utopicomputers with my written explanation however that e mail could not be found and anyone reading this could try it thereselves so i will hand deliver my letter as the staff members response was accurate. Domain name not found!
Further update. Got a response from Craig after hand delivering my letter to him as his e maill was incorrect. He requests that i phone him to, in his words MAKE THINGS RIGHT. At the same time Ryan told me about 12 people work there which can make it difficult as to who i dealt with. Craig states that he cant find any trace of the transaction. Also the receipt for the product which was given as proof for my refund cant be found. No transaction were found and the faulty product which should have been returned to the manufacturer no record can be found of it either. I have hand delivered a letter and now he wishes i phone him (Craig) I have to do all the running and as he cant find anything i dont see how he can put anything right. Ryan told me he had my landline phone if it was needed. Once again i stand by what i said and also had a witness with me when i received my refund. This is what a customer can go through.
Recieved a further response from Craig on the 17/2/2024 Informing me that we can sort things out and such waffle and forgets my other comment informed him that i was not alone when i went back to the shop for a refund. Again i must reitirate and say one again my witness saw me get the refund and she saw the sign on the door and heard all your staffs comments. If he cant find anything how can he sort it.

I have nothing but great things to say about this company. Their communication is fantastic, always kept us in the loop for when the computer would be built and ready to ship. The computer itself works like a dream and is lightening quick, and the support we've been been able to access afterwards is fantastic and second to none. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a great experience.

I honestly can't recommend Utpoia computers enough. I'm not a technical person and every staff member has been amazing, nothing has been a bother to them and they help even with the littlest thing. I also like the fact they won't rip you off. When I was buying my sons gaming pc I was under the impression it would cost alot more than it actually was and they could have took my money but they never. Every staff member has been polite and friendly. I will definitely be back for any other IT stuff in the future. Customer service is spot on 👌

This is the third system we've purchased from Utopia, and I wouldn't go to anybody else. Flawless worksmanship, staff are communicative and a joy to speak to, and consistently go out of their way to provide a top tier service. I honestly can't praise this company enough and would recommend them completely without reservation to anybody looking for a high quality system and professional support at every point of contact. Great service, Barry was absolutely sound! I've waited a few days before leaving a review as I wanted to test out my new comp. I really can't grumble at anything. It's running everything I've thrown at it so far. White isn't my first choice on a case colour... but the rgb fans mixed with the white work really well. I'm glad the black case wasn't in stock. I'm 100% happy and would absolutly recommend this store to anyone!

I recently put my pc into repair because of what seemed to be a unsolvable mystery to why my pc woudnt display. Took it to these guys and completely fixed my pc within the same day and even went as far as to fix other problems with my pc to show they genuinely care about their customers. I highly recommend this store they are so friendly and host cool events.
