I purchased a vehicle from V12 Sports and Classics Ltd on 12 February 2026. The vehicle was a Land Rover Discovery Sport.
Shortly after purchase the vehicle began displaying drivetrain warnings on the dashboard, including a “two wheel drive – traction reduced” message. I took the vehicle to an independent Land Rover specialist who identified a number of serious issues including drivetrain faults and significant corrosion underneath the vehicle.
The vehicle had passed an MOT on 5 February 2026 which was carried out by V12 Sports and Classics themselves, however the condition identified by the specialist raised concerns about how the vehicle was able to pass without advisories.
Because of these issues I exercised my short-term right to reject the vehicle under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and formally rejected the car on 5 March 2026.
Since then I have attempted to contact the company several times. I sent the rejection notice by email to multiple addresses listed on the V12 website, however the emails failed to deliver. I have also spoken with a manager by phone and sent the rejection letter by recorded delivery.
At the time of writing I have not yet received a response confirming arrangements for the return of the vehicle and refund.
I hope someone from V12 Sports and Classics will contact me so this matter can be resolved.

Very friendly, knowledgeable staff. Richard in particular was very helpful and made the process very straightforward. Simon was as friendly and helpful as Richard. I would definitely recommend the dealer if you’re looking for a car without the stress.

Bought a Merccedes have one issue after another. The dealership is not transparent and honest. All they want to sell and make their money.Force to buy the warranty but the warranty doesn’t cover the faults which occur so warranty company have tailored the warranty package with dealership majority of stuff which suits warranty company and dealership.I just wonder about people who are leaving positive reviews today and excited sooner or later they will be facing the issue with faulty vehicles.we learnt a lesson using this company.Wont advise anyone to use them but if someone want to invite stress please go ahead.

I purchased a car from here on Wednesday. Had great customer service from Ed during the sales process. We took the car for a test drive during which we discovered that the rear parking camera was covered in dirt and nothing visible through it. No problem Ed said, we will have that cleaned and sorted for you before you take the car. Got home, went to reverse into my parking space, the rear camera is still completely covered, cant see anything out of it and on futher inspection the dirt is inside the camera unit.
Later that day put the window down, the electric window unit is not working, the window is now stuck halfway down woth no way of closing the window! Shocking for spend almost £12,000 on a car in this condition!
It is now 48 hours later, ive been emailing and calling the after sales team constantly, have still been unable to speak to anyone and no one has called or emailed back!!
My car is sat outside my house with the window stuck open!!

The car we brought is okay . They pressure you so much into buying the extras start off really high then pressure you when it gets lower.. the after care is really poor very unhelpful and quite rude just pass the blame. Really wouldn't recommend the after service!

Liam picked me up at the station in my new car, ran through the inevitable upsell options in a relaxed way without any pressure, and was clearly knowledgeable about the car. Thanks Liam, fantastic job!

Ten days ago, I took a car from them for a test drive and paid a deposit. After that, I had several more test drives with other dealers and eventually purchased a car from one of them. In all other cases, the deposit was refunded within three days. In this case, however, seven working days have already passed, and I am still waiting for the refund.

The process before buying was very good. Helpful staff agreed that because we were travelling from Scotland that the paperwork would be ready at the store opening time and that the EV car would be fully charged. We arrived to be told that someone would be with us in a minute. That staff member then moved hid PC workstation - phone, PC, screen, cables, keyboard, mouse - from one desk to another. We asked another member of staff after ten minutes and they said they would be with us in a minute. There must have been 10 staff doing whatever they were doing and all ignored us. We said to ourselves that after 20 minutes, we would walk out. At 18 minutes the same staff member moving his workstation said that he would be dealing with us. No paperwork was ready and he was not aware of our request. The car was 80% charged. He then spent 10 minutes trying to sell extras that we would never need and kept saying 'I need to speak to my boss' and leaving us when we said that we did not want an extra warranty, ceramic coating etc. Well over an hour after we arrived we finally left, needing to stop twice rather than once to recharge, at motorway rates. We then had four calls from V12 over the next two weeks trying to sell us a EV charger when we kept telling them we had one.

Bought car from this Garage and next day car broke down. It took them 1 month to refund me the money. They give us AA report showing everything is fine but car broke down after 17 hours of purchase. After car broke down i went to Garage and they didnt want to know me and thier service been extreamly bad. I had to argue with them.
Stay away from this Garage they are not trustworthy in the market.

Friendly and not hard sell on options you don’t what, options for finance / protection are there if you what them.
There is a breakdown thing that they pass your details onto, but when they rang I said I did not what and again no hard sell.
One item that was not great, the car I brought had an NI reg. they had not got the log book and took circa 10 days to come through is DVLA, this was not known by the staff who expected to be able to give me on the day. Due to the different MOT rules (4 years on NI cars) they stated a years MOT, which as soon as you register in the UK, means the car has no MOT.. believe a genuine mistake, but also lack of knowledge which I had to sort out…

The car was in very good condition but a few things annoyed me.
Firstly, I specifically told the salesman that I did not want to collect a car with almost no fuel in the tank. He assured me that wouldn’t happen. But the fuel warning light was on when I started the car so my first stop was a petrol station just up the road.
Secondly the Mazda mats had been removed from the vehicle so the plastic and slippery part of the under carpet was directly under my heels when operating the pedals.
Thirdly when I opened the bonnet to check the levels the washer bottle was low and the radiator top up tank was empty.
Fourthly the tyre pressures were five pounds below the recommended pressure all round.
Finally the tracker fitting that I purchased and which was to be fitted at my home address, when I responded to their email to arrange the fitting was greeted by the message that no dates were available at my location which is in the West Midlands within ten miles of Birmingham and Wolverhampton. They would phone me. They haven’t yet.

Avoid V12 at all costs worst finance experience I have ever had
Dealing with V12 has been an absolute nightmare from start to finish. Once the finance agreement was signed and the money was taken the support completely disappeared.
Phone calls are simply not answered. I have spent over an hour on hold on multiple occasions with no response at all. Emails are slow ignored or provide generic replies with no accountability. There is no clear case handler and no urgency whatsoever.
After collecting the vehicle I immediately identified serious issues. To ensure everything was done properly and fairly I took the car to the manufacturer main dealer for a full inspection using approved diagnostics and trained technicians. This was not a cheap or informal check it was a full main dealer report.
The main dealer confirmed multiple faults and defects that clearly should not exist on a vehicle sold under finance. A written report was provided as evidence.
Despite supplying V12 with this professional main dealer report I have been passed back and forth between the dealer and the finance company and left completely in limbo. No one takes responsibility. No one authorises repairs. No one offers a resolution.
The after sales service is shocking. There is no customer care no ownership of the problem and no willingness to act even when presented with clear professional evidence.
I am now being forced to prepare court action. If this matter is not resolved imminently I will be taking V12 to court to recover my costs and enforce my legal rights. This situation could have been resolved easily but V12 have chosen delay and silence instead.
I strongly warn anyone considering using V12 finance do not do it. If anything goes wrong you will be on your own. Once they have your money they simply do not care.
This has been stressful time consuming and completely unacceptable. One of the worst finance companies I have ever dealt with.
V12 reply just show you what kind of business they really area , Avoid at all cost more reputable dealer out the.

If I could give 0 reviews I would. This company is an absolute disgrace and should be shut down. Selling dangerous cars, putting lives at risks and not acknowledging complaints. Maybe appear very charming and professional during the point of sale but once you have purchased your car and all the hidden faults appear they wont even respond to your complaint. Do not buy a car from here. Checkout the v12 review group on Facebook, several distraught customers fighting to get refunds for their shoddy 'aa inspected' cars

We part exchanged our car for a Ford Edge, we felt reassured by the fact it had been inspected by the AA, how wrong were we! It broke down on the way home, we informed V12 Wolverhampton and was told we couldn’t reject the car until we had a diagnostics test which they would reimburse us for. The test revealed head gasket failure, warning lights for power steering and ABS faults had been turned off. We sent the report to V12 and asked them to fetch the car back. They collected the car and had to chase them for 13 days for our refund, which didn’t include our initial deposit or diagnostic fees. Now they will no longer reply to our emails. So they have got our part exchange which they will make a few grand on and their car back plus a full tank of fuel. We then come across a V12 complaints page on Facebook and find out that the same car was sold 4 weeks prior to our purchase with the same problems. Check the page out it is shocking how they treat their customers. We are now in mediation with AA, who we also hold responsible for their so called inspections. They knowingly sell unroadworthy dangerous cars (the same cars) multiple times by moving them from branch to branch. We will not let them win and will be taking them to court if no resolution is reached. Do not buy from them! Go to a reputable dealer and save yourself from dealing with these cowboys!
UPDATE, We have tried and tried to get through on the phone to speak to them as they said on their reply! being in a queue for up to 2 hours at a time. They will not answer the phone and Oliver Lennon (The after sales manager) has not replied to the last 6 emails. This is on the after sales phone line. So that tells you all you need to know. There is no after sales customer service and they don’t want to speak to you after selling you a dodgy car and robbing you. Look at all the 1 star reviews telling you the same story.

Do NOT buy from here. Please save yourself the stress and money.
I purchased a car from this dealership in April 2025, and within a few hours of driving home, a headlight fault appeared. When I reported it, the after-sales team refused to let me take the car to an authorised service centre and insisted I use a small local garage instead, saying they would only reimburse £78.
Because we trusted them and the car was newly purchased, we agreed. The local garage couldn’t perform proper diagnostics for £78, and when the headlight temporarily started working again after being refitted, it was assumed to be a loose connection. We accepted that at the time.
But the same headlight failed again recently, so we took the car to an authorised service centre ourselves and paid for a proper diagnostic. This time, the real issue was uncovered: severe corrosion and water ingress inside the headlamp unit and modules— something the service centre said was clearly a pre-existing condition, not a new problem.
The repair cost has been quoted at almost £5,000, yet the dealership is refusing to help unless I can somehow “prove” the fault existed when they sold it — even though the headlight failed the very first day.
Extremely disappointing experience.
I strongly advise others: don’t buy from here.
