Between phpvms and vaBase, I thought over and over and over again for create a new VA.

I chose vabase as the best choice. Very friendly customer support, great program! Best of all, vabase is the best VA software! If thinking about using phpvms or vabase, I would highly recommend using vabase.

I luckily stumbled across VABase.com. A great service if you are planning to start your own virtual airline. Here everything is up and running in super short time. Support has worked excelent and they provide a stable service.

VABase has a simple API that makes it easy to make adjustmenst and customizations. You don't have to manage databases and can concentrate on giving your users the best possible experience.

Not to forget, they also have an excelent ACARS.

Absolutely fantastic software package with equally amazing customer support to match! Definitely recommend them to anyone who wants to start a VA!

I've been a customer of vaBase since October 2019 and I chose it for the ease of installation and the customizable API. I have run into some minor issues that I requested support with and received timely responses. I'm in the U.S. and they are U.K.-based so I understand the response isn't always going to be immediate but I have never had a time where they did not respond to my email.

vaBase has made a very useful and easy to edit API, but you should have some basic knowledge of web design (i.e. PHP, HTML, CSS, Java) to create your unique VA design. Don't expect them to customize your site, that's not what they do.

Overall, I am very pleased with vaBase because they have done all the hard work and all I had to do was customize it to suit my VA.

I tested other VA software such as phpVMS and VAM but found vaBase much easier to install and customize. Plus there's no need for a third-party pilot ACARS as the vaBase ACARS is built into the API.

Unless you're an expert in web design or don't have the time to create your own design, I would highly recommend vaBase.

For the price, especially if you have vaBase host your site, it is a bargain.

No support at all, bad business model, pay a lot of money to purchase some trash.

I was looking to upgrade my Virtual Airline, but seems I've downgraded it. I've just asked them a simple question, that how can I transfer my pilot pireps to your junk web no answer yet. by upgrading my VA website I should transfer the miles flown and the passengers carried by the VA as well, not starting from scratch right?
Noooooooooooooooooooo answer yet. they said in there web " you can spend less time setting up databases, but more time building your airline." hmmmmm, my VA web is down because I'm still waiting for their answer.

I got the vaBase on October 2019, the system its OK, but ZERO support. I sent 2 emails via the ticket system and I dont get any answer. There is no way to contact the developer.

The software dont have any documentation, You need to open every file to see if there is any note about how to change something.

As administrator, there are some task that must be included to edit pilots profiles like change or upload the "avatar" photo and there is no way, only le pilots can upload their images.

About the ROUTES section, there ir no way to create a new route, just one, without delete the existing ones. The only way to create new routes is via Uplaoding a CVS file, so, if some one ask for a new route you need to upload again the file with the new one.

I hope the developer contact me after read this. ---

To me, OK.
When you install the software, it needs some work to adapt at our own style.
Would be great, that the CSV importer, parsing data with comma or point & comma and host the databases at our own hosting.

This was by far the worst experience I have ever seen in the flightsim community in my 20 years of flying. I wasted a lot of money with these monkeys. This one man show doesn't offer anything useful. Takes over a week to get replies to emails for support. They claim to have a "Support Team" not even close. Their cloud database is slow and takes forever to search schedules. Understand a little since it is hosted in the UK, but extremely slow. My va has over 80000 routes and hosting now locally, it produces very quick results. You can find a many number of people who have negative feedback about VABASE. Wish I would have found them before I joined. Lucky i was able to fight the charges with paypal after a month of the crap service. Please do your homework before going over there.

I have been running a military VA using Digital Combat Simulator since 2014. The issue with DCS is that it will not connect automatically to any ACARS system so PIREPs have to be done manually. My original setup was not very user friendly in this respect as we had to make calculations prior to doing the PIREP submission. I got to the point where I needed a simpler, more logical system.

I found vaBase through Google and boy, am I glad I did. Yes it still uses PHP, but it is very simple to change the look of everything. Manual PIREPs are a dream as I have removed any unwanted fields so what I now I only have ones that we need.

Pages on the website are now tailored to how I need them to only show data that is relative to what flying we do.

I have had a few questions whilst setting things up, and Myles has been a great help with giving simple instructions as to what I needed to change.

I have been testing my setup on local host local server and am now at the point where I can migrate my current website onto the vaBase system.

vaBase certainly is a great system that can be setup to suit most needs.

As the staff of a small VA (30 pilots) we where! interested in the VABase software as our current software is not sufficient anymore. So we took the liberty to put a few technical questions in via the contact form on the website of VABase.

I did update this review to a better average score because I received an email from VABASE with appologies. That was good enough for me. Why still average? Because I am not sure it is the way forward we want but at least we are on speaking terms :-)

Fast service, friendly staff, great and fast web hosting, detailed system!
This system is great for training check rides, pilot freedom, and it's an overall AMAZING product!

I recommend to anyone starting up a new VA!

They just deceived me about the money - totally inoperative and especially without support. DO NOT PAY.

3 tickets opened - but only on the first ticket with questions about the features of vABase I asked before paying I got an answer.

On the other two tickets after the pay no reply received.

Sorry - but that is bad service.

2 weeks now and no reply from this so called service of vaBase. I have now had to take down the site and lost all the funds put into this junk vaBase. Never, if your smart, never invest in this crap. The ones who say this is great have not tried to contact vaBase support or sent them an email for any help. I know many VA CEOs and will be talking with them about not using vaBase. I am done with this company because they want to sell something they either can't or will not support. Bad business, bad company!

Bought vaBase last year and lay unused for 6 months due to my lack of experience in web design. 2018, decided to give things ago and honestly can't rate the support enough. Chose their own hosting package and was definitely the right choice, was all installed for me and all I had to do was make the graphical changes I wanted. Support was always speedy and in most cases instant. Can see myself using this system for many years now.

Overall Site is good but unless you have some background in PHP you are on your own no help provided .Tech support is very poor at best. Days to respond to emails.
My advice don't waste your time and money on it. We tried it for a week and ended up going back to old system.

vaBase is an excellent solution to create virtual airlines. The service and support on integration and also specific questions is awesome and leaves you perfectly happy!
