If I could give a zero I would

If I could give a zero I would. I used to use the product successfully. I recently bought another batch and it left bleach stains on 3 garments in succession. When I complained they told me I should have performed a patch test and therefore do not accept liability. It is very clear that the product is the problem having ruined all garments I used it on. I will not be using this product again. Stay away !!!

STAY AWAY!!!

I would say vanish, the company is potentially dangerous. When you complain they don't care.
Left my carpet with bleach stains on it, even though it claims to not contain this ingredient.
Stay away!!!!!

Vanish’s Fabrication about making whites whiter.

I wish Vanish produced by Reckitt would stop these endless false adverts claiming this product will make all your whites whiter. It’s a total fabrication as it doesn’t really work. It’s a bit like whitening toothpaste adverts that claim the same thing. I don’t understand why these companies get away with flagrant misrepresentation. I wouldn’t waste your money and if you really want your old white t shirts to be white again, put them in hot water with a bit of bleach for a short time.

Was good, formula changed, now rubbish

Used for years and was good but lately not removing common stains fruit tea etc. saw that cheapest supermarkets own brand voted high by which so tried it and it's very effective at removing stains no need for anything else added. Huge saving no more stained clothing can't wear....

The worse customer services ever ,they sound at the time great after which nothing

I have used vanish for years and years and put it on a pedestal, my children constantly gave me my grandchildrens stained clothes which vanish always worked brilliantly until Christmas, I treated a school shirt ( red) of my granddaughters and soaked it for 30 mins before washing in machine it came out totally ruined totally covered in what looked like bleach spots, I emailed vanish and got a reply 12th Jan for me to give them a phone number and time to ring me the next day they didn't I phoned them just before they closed , I had to send photos and filled out a form and they promised I would hear within 4 to 5 days as they would test the product code sample they keep from each batch , they would refund me the cost of the shirt ,I have heard nothing since even though I have phoned and emailed many times .I was not worry about the refund had just hoped they would say the batch was faulty so that I could have faith in there product again but nothing and reading other reviews seems this is quite normal

Leaves bleach stains on clothing

I've used Vanish for years and had never had an issue, until now. Have, recently, had four items of clothing ruined and left with bleach stains all over them but the label says it doesn't contain chlorine bleach. Thought I'd bought a couple of bad batches and, stupidly tried the new formula which has ruined yet another item of clothing. The company does not seem to care about this issue.

Vanish Oxy Action Ruined My Clothes

Like similar reviewers of this product, Vanish oxy action ruined my clothes. They totally removed the colour leaving bleach like patches. The garments were cotton so not an “unusual” fabric. As others have reported when I complained about this and sent in photo, the response was that I had not completed a patch test before use. When I highlighted this was not practical as there was not a non visible area to do this and that as the damage was patchy it might not have resulted in bleaching, they failed to respond. I would advise others not to use this product

Absolutely ruined my clothes!

Absolutely ruined about £40 worth of clothing. Contacted "So called customer care" and provided them with their initial round of answers to the questions along with photos of ruined garments. They they sent "Round two" of questions, the only thing that they didn't ask was my inside leg measurement and date of birth! All part of their cunning plan to make you give up pursuing them 😡. Disgusting behaviour and I will never buy their products again.

Failure

I have yet to find any stain that much vaunted Vanish can remove. Certainly not oil based stains and not anything fruit juice based. Supermarkets have shelves full of Vanish in all its forms. There is no choice of any alternatives. However I can buy specific stain removers on Amazon which actually do work.

Ruined my shirt like many customers, refuse to be honest

Disgusting company. Like many other people the vanish product ruined my ralph lauren shirt although we used the item EXACTLY. The demand you fill in a form to trick you. If you followed the instruction the item could not be at fault, it is "impossible". If you didn't follow and make a test on each item then the user is at fault.

They offer you 250 DKK compensation which is rejected.

The item was marketed and sold in Denmark and hence it is correct that a small claims case can be bought in Denmark. This is what we will do as the process is simple.

Disappointed

This is a good product with improving whites and stains , bit pricy and especially when I opened the tub to find it barely half full , I was shocked and disappointed and didn’t think i had got what I paid for

Totally ineffective

Totally ineffective. I have used the Oxi Action stain remover spray on a number of stains, following the instructions to the letter. It has never removed a single stain so I will definitely be switching to another product!9
