Having used Vaughan’s for over 30 years…

Having used Vaughan’s for over 30 years purchased a Panasonic Tv there 20months ago has been in a number of times for repair , no better now , complained about product but they did nothing about it , won’t be using them again

Excellent Company

Purchased a Rangemaster Prof Plus 100 Induction Oven and the price was as competitive as any online . Adrian the salesperson was excellent in all our dealings and especially so in his aftersales care in resolving a minor superficial issue with the oven door.
I can confidently endorse Vaughans Electrical as a top class company and a good example for buying locally.

NO HAPPY AT ALL

I really regret to deal with this local business and I am afraid I cannot give any more than 1 star for the service received - the item for the repair came in much worse condition when the company received it - damaged screen and the back and side of the TV showing clearly that the items for repair are not look after whilst in the posesion of the company.

Excellent

Tremendous service all round. Super helpful and friendly sales,office and delivery staff. All questions answered item delivered on time, kept up to date with times at every stage. Have used before, definitely will again

Great delivery staff

Bought a new ‘american-style’ fridge freezer from Vaughans in May 2025 after a failed delivery from an online competitor. The competitor used Arrrow XL for deliveries but the crew measured the doorways (I’d removed interior doors ready etc) and announced the item wouldn’t fit as packaged but that they couldn’t handle it unpacked. They offered to leave it on the driveway for me to bring it in(!) but I instructed them to take it back. Went straight to Vaughans, bought a near-identical fridge at a good price and Vaughans’ crew managed to deliver no problem using a harness device! Glad I sent the other back and bought from Vaughans. I had to pay an installation fee but was worth it for the competent service I received. Great to deal with from sales staff to delivery staff. Very pleased.

Vaughans have been absolutely superb

Vaughans have been absolutely superb. They were highly recommended and now I know why. I came to them with a complicated issue with a washing machine that I needed to replace and they were brilliant. Each person I spoke to was so professional, kind and pro active on my behalf. The delivery team were extremely considerate and really went out of their way. Well done Vaughans! Five star customer service!

Lovely experience with this store and…

Lovely experience with this store and especially from the lads who delivered our new fridge freezer. They were swift and professional and very friendly. They gave great advice and I wanted to pass on my thanks to them and to all, as I know they pulled the stops out to deliver quickly when we were in the lurch. Would use again without hesitation.

Called into Vaughans Llanelli today…

Called into Vaughans Llanelli today with an internet connection problem with a tv I bought from them last year. Helen could not be more helpful. She showed me how to reconnect to the internet and I spotted where i was going wrong. You wont get this service if you buy online with the big stores.

Don't be fooled Into buying local......

I have used Vaughns in haverfordwest many times over the years as I believe in shop local and support local businesses....NEVER AGAIN WILL I SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS.

I bought a TV in June, by July a redline has appeared down the screen.
I called and told them was asked to bring it in. Which I did.
So I haven't even had the TV for even two months , but I can't get a refund, I can't get a replacement...no no no Vaughns have to send it off to Samsung for repair.
What an absolute joke! Poor customer service at this store it never used to be like this.
I could even see the same TV in the shop which they could have replaced mine with .
So summer holidays and I don't have a TV for my kids.
Well done Vaughans and your poor product and even poorer customer service.

All of this hassel over a £300 tv

Shame on you! I Will NEVER Touch Vaughans again!

Wow! What’s happened to Vaughan’s! Used to be THE place to go, not anymore, shocking service!
Totally abysmal customer and after sales service, after my fridge started leaking foam stuff out of the seams inside and out and underneath, at less than 6 months old, Vaughans told me it was perfectly normal and if I wasn’t happy I’d have to contact the manufacturer, I did and they didn’t care either.
I did ring round other independent electrical retailers, who were shocked .
Vaughans lied by telling me their engineer didn’t say what he clearly did say to us.
Previous experience has been tremendous, something has gone very very wrong and I’m not the only one saying it either, I’ll never shop with them again.
Binned my few month old leaking fridge and bought new Samsung fridge and freezer elsewhere 🖕

Outstanding

If I could give this company 6 stars I would.
They went above and beyond when our fridge broke down. I rang at 9am and a new fridge was delivered and installed by 5pm. Can’t recommend Vaughans and their first class staff.

A friend in need!

Called at Vaughans Electrical St Clears this afternoon with a minor Freeview issue. Anthony could not have been more helpful. He explained how to solve the problem and offered to help us over the phone when we got home. That was not necessary as his instructions worked perfectly. Even so, he returned my call to see if all was OK. Such friendly, personal service is so rare these days. Diolch yn fawr.

Great service

Went to Vaughans 3 days before Christmas to get a bigger TV for my grandfather in a residential home due to his deteriorating eyesight.

TV price was very reasonable, and booked them to mount it on the wall in his room - then they called and said they'd get it done that afternoon!

Kev & Wayne did a great job mounting it on a difficult wall, and were understanding when we realised it would have to be moved over (after they had started).

Great service by a local firm who know what they're doing.

I will never buy from Vaughan’s again

I WILL DO BUSINESS WITH VAUGHN’S EVER AGAIN!!!
Bought a dish washer just a year ago, the wheels on the trays snapped after a month or two, it was fitted poorly (unlevel) and is now leaking!!!!!
They sold us a 5 year warranty and when we tried to use it we were told we would have to pay more in labour and call out fees and it would cost to buy and new one!!!

TV & DVD RECORDER PURCHASE

TV PURCHASE: Excellent store experience, purchasing experience and telephone assistance as always. Sales assistant was polite, knowledgeable and exceptionally helpful, as usual, as was the engineer who installed my television. A few TV/DVD connection problems needed to be solved and would be if I bought a new DVD recorder....

DVD RECORDER: I attempted to purchase the Recorder a few days later to finalise the TV installation. There was only one available. Vaughans were charging £100.00 more than their competitors. The assistant got permission from her manager to price match at £100.00 less. Vaughans also wanted to charge an extra installation fee even though the TV installation process was not yet complete! The assistant received permission to get me a reduced fee, but this was still an extra installation cost. Finally, as this was the last Recorder available, I asked for confirmation that this was a brand new boxed item. The sales assistant checked for me and rang me back to say that it was an ex display! I immediately cancelled the order....

I have been a Vaughans customer for many years and am normally a great fan. Loyalty should work both ways however but on this occasion, Vaughans were prepared to sell me an ex display product (without telling me), charge me £100 over their competitors' rates before I asked for a price match and charge me an extra installation fee as well (albeit eventually reduced.)
Not at all impressed Vaughans.

Cant say I'm happy

Cant say I'm happy. Bought a new Tv last year and before leaving the shope I asked if when the new Tv is installed will the engineer definitely be able to reset my cctv to which they said yes. A few days later the new Tv comes and all seems OK until I realise I've lost certain functions using the cctv. Contacted the shop to be told " its not our problem you need to contact the company that installed the cctv". If you remember I had prices from you for other items but I've bought them elsewhere. Never thought Vaughans would treat their customers like that.
