Unacceptably slow with issuing refunds

I've been a customer on veepee for several years and made many great purchases - designer brands with big discounts. However I am utterly fed up with their refunds service. If you send an item back it often takes 3 weeks (or longer) to issue the refund, counting from the moment when you drop the item off with mondial relay, while just about every other online retailer will process your refund within a couple of days. Given that veepee also often take over a month to deliver your order, this basically means they are sitting on your money for 2 months. It is especially frustrating when they send you the wrong item which happens not infrequently. I always think twice before I purchase here because it is such a hassle and ultimately a financial burden if you have to return an item. Also, until 2022 they used to have a warehouse in the netherlands and many many many great sales, but since they closed the dutch warehouse and moved to Belgium there are far fewer sales, and on average the brands that they do offer are more obscure and unappealing. In short - sometimes make nice purchases here but the management of refunds is unacceptable in this day and age.

Search the brand and items before and don't trust past good experience

I bought from VP some kitchen items by a sale presented as "Chez Lorraine". I cannot return the items, as I was on holidays and missed the deadline. The articles delivered were cheap e.g. the vegetable peeler is as light as a feather and already dented Made in China articles and glasses packed in a box with text in Turkish I assume, that are sold at open air markets. To present it as a French brand i.e. "Chez Lorraine" to customers is misleading and unacceptable!

No customer service!!

Already sent 3 mails/follow up about the same query regarding payment with Amex and still no answer, tried their chat and the « person » probably bot is not even available!!!
Never any issue with products and inefficiency of their customer service is a big turn off!!

I was client for few years...no more

I was client for few years and I got so many bad products...low quality etc
Prices were attractive (no more the case now) but keep in mind, 80% of the time you get second or 3rd choice product.
I am very surprised that famous brand collaborate with Veepee.
You think you will save but finally, since lots of goods are useless, it cost you much more than just buying a regular product in a normal shop.

I asked for information about my parcel returned nobody can answer what I would like to know!!!! I returned since 1 week and status on VEEPEE is still waiting… work soooooo slowly !!! sent soooooo long!!!

cheap but shitt!!!!!

I will dont shopping with veepee anything more!!!!

Cancelled order because the price was too cheap

I bought the items from the website and after a few days I received an email that the price of my order was too cheap so they need to cancel the order!!! Even though this was their own mistake they do not take absolutely any responsibility. In the end consumer is the one who is being punished. This is very unprofessional. I contacted customer support but they are completely ignoring me. I will never buy from this website again and I strongly discourage everyone else to do so.

1 star is too high
I placed an order on 11th May with a delivery date of 30th May - 7th June. The whole time the order remained at status 2 ‘preparing order’. I tried to cancel the order but couldn’t as system stated order being prepared. I also sent a message via their website, no reply and then tried to contact them via their 020 number. I got a voicemail in French and was immediately disconnected. I then received an email from Veepee that due to logistics issues the delivery date was changed to end of June. Unbelievable that a company believes that customers would be prepared to order something with a near 2 month delivery time.

To my great surprise the package was actually delivered this week.

I’m lucky but that was the last order from me. I’ve deleted the app. What happened to this company?

Anything for 2.95 euro

You want to return an item and you print the label. You realize that you cannot use their carrier as their pick up points are too far. So you write the address by hand, you don't use the initial label. Pay for post yourself. Then they still deduct the carrier's cost of 2.95. Why? Because the carrier's cost is triggered when you print the label, although you then do not use it, not when the carrier scans the label and carries the parcel. So, you wonder, did the carrier get the 2.95 even if it didn't carry the parcel? Surely not. Losing a client for 2.95, that is the result.

Unacceptable

That’s a review that I’m glad to write Down and share here.
First we start with the promotion that most of the time aren’t really a big deal, they overprice a lot of the products and give a discount that in the end came up to be the same price you will get anywhere else (and they call it a SALE).
Second (and that happened twice with me) if the order is not delivered you can just forget it…there’s no way to really get into the problem, you will get yourself In a position that nobody can resolve, the site (Veepee) will say that is a seller problem and you should talk to them, you talk with the seller (in my last case Volcon) they say that you should check with the delivery company, you go back to complain about the situation with the guys from Veepee, and they keep send you towards the seller…. Anyway NOBODY WILL RESOLVE THE PROBLEM, THEY JUST WILL SEND YOU UP AND DOWN LIKE A BALL TILL YOU GET TIRED, GIVE UP AND FORGET THAT YOU PAID FOR A SERVICE/PRODUCT THAT DIDNT CAME.

KIND OF A SCAM IN A CERTAIN WAY.

Very bad service

Very bad service. I have ordered 2 tables. VP indicated a delivery window of a month. After that month I didn't receive anything. I called their customer service that had no clue about the delivery time. Furthermore they didn't even know if those products were available or not!

I am sinds years a veepee customer

I am sinds years a veepee customer. Really liked the sales and found them reliable. Thiis year their service got worse tremendously. They changed ups with mondi relay. I receice tracing codes, while it takes days before they send the package. Return is never clear. One of the last orders was supposed to be delivered latest 2 november. 2 weeks later still not there, nor I received money back. 3 times sent email via help&contact. Nobody reacted. They are on the goid way to lose me as a client...

Worst customer service ever

I bought an Intex pool and after 1month the product has not been delivered. On the site initially appeared that the product was shipped back to Veepee (without any reason) and the delivered to my home address. I had to call for clarification (a pay number in Spain) to find out that the product was actually delivered back to their local warehouse (without being able to provide any reason) and that a reimbursement will be provided, but not immediately, as they need to wait that the central warehouse receive the product from the local one. So basically they will keep my money (ca. 700€) for 1 month and more, really embarrassing service!

Avoid it, otherwise you will lose your money.

I had been a customer for 10 years, not anymore. They just don’t want to refund. For the last 4-5 years the company is a mess. You send your item and you wait and don’t get email that they’ve received it. Then you call and they say “oh yeah, we’ve received your item but the refund will be after 10 days”. 10 days later - nothing. Few years ago I already had this problem with them, they received my parcel but “forgot” to refund, after numerous calls they finally kindly agreed to refund (the item that I paid and returned and they received it!!!!!). It was in 2020, I’m still waiting…Well, this time I intend to finally get my refund but after that I’m going to delete this app, forever. They have no idea what customer service is, I don’t know if they changed a management few years ago or something but definitely it was a very bad idea, I suppose it’s one of my worst experience with online shopping in France. Please, avoid this company, first they have to learn how to work and to be effective, this is not a rocket science but seems like it managed by amateurs who believe in themselves too much so the result is close to 0. Ah and don’t try to contact them through the website they never reply. Never.
