Bag is cheap looking and zip is now broke. Have emailed 3 times - no response. Shocking company - they need reporting to Trading Standards!

Poor quality bags. Not clear about where they ship from (Hong Kong) so costs you to receive them and to return them. I ended up claiming back via my card company. Avoid.

I’ve ordered and then I’ve cancelled because of bad reviews on here. I’ve contacted them via email on Sunday and literally 1 hours later they emailed me back, saying that my order has been cancel. With no fuss I’ve received full refund 2 days later. Also Facebook comments are most positive,like hundreds of positive customers so I’m confused with all that negativity on trust pilots 💁‍♀️.

I found out about the company through sponsored facebook and instagram ads. They have a current on air campaign with promotional offers in social media, but it seems they are not active with updated content. I purchased one bag, the transaction was confirmed on my credit card through the shopify.com ecommerce platform. I received the purchase confirmation email from Vegan Tote, and a few days later they sent me the tracking number. When I checked the tracking number it said that the item is not found, and has not appeared since then. It has been four weeks since the purchase, I have sent several emails, but did not receive any answer from them and I did not receive the item either. Do not purchase on this site. It appears that this company is a scam, and many people seem to have had the same experience as mine.

Update: The item arrived more than one week after I started a purchase annulment procedure with my bank. I stopped the procedure the moment I received it. Based on my experience, I will not make future purchases on this site.

What they say in other reviews is true. DO NOT PURCHASE.
I received my bag yesterday. Instead of a nice branded bag from Sweden I got an Ali Express box with a cheap bag inside that has nothing to do with the pictures.
It's obviously not vegan and the use they do of the Peta logo is misleading
They are drop-shipping scammers.

Scammers!! I didnt get my back and I alao placed the wrong order and reach out to them literally one minute after saying I picked the wrong color. They answered a month after saying the bag has been sent long ago. They say that they give u ”free refund” but u have to pay for the delivery costs urself to China where slaves make the bag and it costs 150 euros. So there is essentially absolutely no opportunity for return, unless u wanna pay 150 euros for nothing

VERY bad!!! The track & trace Said i wasn’t home. Thats not true. My bag is lost and the company doesn’t answer. No insta, no Facebook, no e-mail, no Phone.. do not buy here!

Not from Sweeden, its a Chinese company the bag looks nothing like the website picture. Vegan leather ?? I doubt it.
Asked to return for refund same as all the other reviews " it will be differcult we will give you 20% back" the offered 50% discount.
IT IS A SCAM AVOID

FINALLY, my bag arrived five (!) weeks after I ordered it. And that was because it was shipped from CHINA, not from Sweden as it is mentioned on their website. Also, the bag does not look like the bag on the website. That's why I wanted to return it. However, after the company wrote three e-mails and made offers like 'We'll give you 20% if you keep the bag, ... we'll give you 50% if you keep the bag instead of returning it' and mentioned that 'there might be issues with return shipping', I became sceptical. Therefore, I researched the shipping address they finally gave me -after saying three times that I'd like to return the bag- and surprise, surprise: the address is an apartment complex somewhere in Sweden that does not look like a company at all. Therefore, after reading the comments here, I decided to choose the 50% off option instead of sending it back to the 'company address' in Sweden and possibly not seeing any money at all. However, I definitely CANNOT recommend buying here, it's a total scam.

Same experience, I let myself be scammed after seeing nice advertisement from a cruelty free bags "from Sweden" to later find out (after purchasing) that the bags are made of plastic from China, half the price in Aliexpress, take forever to arrive in the best case (being "in Europe" I assumed would be fast). Their only job is to just delete all negative reviews in their social media and let in some fake ones... 3 weeks waiting, my bag still "on the way"... Look for a small nice store and buy there! Save yourself the money, waiting time, and the shame! Don't support this scams

First got a track & trace, it was sent back somewhere and now they’re silent.
No service.

Same story here. I bought a bag at 14 august. Received nothing got a 20% refund for the delay at 29 september. I said that I still wished to receive a new bag. It never arrived. They ignore me via mail, facebook and through their website. Scam!!

Update: after writing this review and a last message on all their channels they contacted me about the refund.

Do not under any condition order from this company! STAY AWAY!

It looks less nice than in the photo and unfortunately comes from China, which is not specified. Delivery takes ages because of that probably. I got the laptop bag and it's definitely smaller than it looks in the photos, it is not horrible, but I wouldn't purchase it again

I ordered in a laptop Bag in June 2020 as birthday present for my girlfriend (Birthday is end of July) and haven't received my order yet. After getting a small refund for loosing the first delivery i am now still waiting for my delivery and did not get any response on my mails. I can not recommend this shop! Terrible Customer Service! I will have to take legal action, a shame...

Never met more ridiculous, incompetent customer service! Ordered a bag, had to wait for 3 months (ok, some delay due to Covid-19 is acceptable, but 3 months!?). After receiving the bag found out there was a big tear in the leather. Contacted customer service, answer took a couple of weeks. They offered a 20% discount while the bag is so badly damaged that it's not usable anymore. Then again waiting for more than a week the customer service offered a full refund IF I send the bag back at my own costs, which is going to cost me almost the half of the price of the bag! And they warned me that if the bag is damaged (which it already is!!!) they won't refund my money. Outrageous!

Complete scam! Thinking I ordered a bag from Sweden — surprised to receive a terrible looking parcel from China. The bag itself is cheap plastic and smells like it too! Total waste of €60!

Unfortunately the bags are produced and shipped from China - contrary to my expectation to get a product from Sweden.
I ordered two bags: the small one is nicely made and looks good. The second one, a shopper, was broken. I'm trying for weeks now to contact the customer service but all you always get is an automatic response.
Don't order bags on Vegantote!!!

I ordered their best-selling backpack, which is supposed to cost 65€, 55€ with a discount. Then I googled the bag itself (the manufacturing company is called Three Box), and found it, sold on AliExpress for 29$,so about 25€!!! Shipped from China, not from Sweden.
The company deletes all the negative feedback from their Instagram and Facebook, so there is no way to find out how many people complained about them. I'm sickened that I couldn't find out earlier and just wasted my hard-earned money like that...
