Excellent Customer Service!
We purchased a roof tent and awning can't wait to get out and use it!
We weren't quite sure what we wanted and after a couple of phone calls and a visit to the showroom, a decision was made. We received good honest advice and always with a friendly smile. We were kept updated during the waiting time for delivery, and the fitting service was so helpful. We have a few more alterations to make on our vehicle before it's ready to go camping in, but we have many trips planned for the spring.
Highly recommend Ventura Roof Tents.

Arrived without fitting instructions, 5 months after ordering. Cover and straps are of poor quality and developed holes on our first major trip. Not worth the wait or the money.

Very happy with my Rooftop tent from Ventura Roof Tents, nice to find one not at a ridiculous price now everyone has jumped on the bandwagon.
Been camping for many years and this is truly the comfiest I've been, it's worth the cost and the effort getting it all fitted.

2.5m Side Awning. If you have £200 to throw away this is a sure bet? First the offer of £100 discount is incorrect as they then increase the delivery cost from advertised £25 to £50. It arrived without any fitting instructions and advised the factory had made an error. Despite many e-mails trying to resolve they are now not responding. Remember to check the returns policy as this is indicative of the fact you are dealing with a budget company. You pay for returns even if goods not as advertised. They do not manufacture they import. This is a customer service review not a product review.

Following my observations the company acted promptly in making direct contact, refunding in full and prompt collection of item. Matter closed.

Had an issue with postage at the start and had previously left a different review. Since then I can honestly say Will has gone above and beyond to resolve all the issues that I had and am very grateful.

I am extremely happy with the service at Ventura and would happily order from them again in the future.

I have finally received my roof top tent.
The after sale service has been really prompt to reply to a later request.

Just received my roof tent today. I pre-ordered my roof tent on the 6th September 21 and received my tent today (9th September 21). I'm honestly impressed at the speed ventura got my roof tent to me. However... I'm not as impressed with their delivery service. Firstly I am a 5ft 1 female who at the time of delivery was alone at my house. My house is up a 100m dirt track. The delivery driver arrived in a lorry and reversed up 3/4 of the way up my drive, due to a low hanging tree branch, The driver couldn't reverse all the way up to my house. So he ofloads of roof tent off the lorry. Then leaves me (5ft 1, 60kg female) to move this over 70kg roof tent with pallets up the remaining 10m up hill to my house. I had to wait until my partner came home from work to help me with it.

I haven't used my roof tent yet as I've just received it today so I can't comment on the actual quality of the tent. Be aware that apparently the delivery service ventura use to deliver their tents, only does curbside/ roadside deliveries. So be prepared to move your roof tent yourself of you live in a rural area like myself.

We received our roof tent on 8th September after approx 6-7wks.
We are fully satisfied with the product but we have been disappointed with the lack of communication and the delivery service.
We have had to make contact ourselves with regards to the whereabouts of our product then it became worse and when our product was delivered, the driver (alone I might add) had to ask my Husband to help him carry it off the truck, then he only left it on the pavement outside our house and would not bring it down the driveway, then he drove off leaving my Husband to move it alone - now you can imagine 65kg plus pallets to move was extremely difficult. No response yet from customer services.

Amazing product, competitively priced, excellent customer service.

What more can you want?

It slept my family (2 adults, 5yr old) comfortably for 2 weeks travelling the Highlands. I timed myself 1 day, it sets up in under 4 mins. Handy if it's raining or if you need to leave quickly in the morning.

Super comfy, super waterproof, super easy.

We have had a small issue with a couple of teeth on the main zip, Ventura are sending out a replacement with no fuss.

I'm very impressed and glad we chose Ventura for our adventures.

We ordered a roof tent from Ventura roof tents. William and his team were brilliant. Our tent arrived with us in France on the date they said. The quality of the tent is excellent, it was very easy to mount on our vehicle. When opened up it is bigger that we thought which is fab, we are looking forward to our first outing out now, thank you William and his team. I would definitely recommend this company and their products.

Love the hard shell roof tent, looks great on my VW at the shows and festivals. Gets attention wherever I go! Small niggles quickly rectified by the team at Ventura.

First night we got the tent we were off camping, only to be met with 22hrs of torrential rainfall and 30mph winds, beating into the side of the tent. And I couldn't be happier with how it stood up, now there was a little bit of leakage the next day but that can be expected and it's safe to say that in any normal weather this tent would be absolutely perfect but it's reassuring that if you are caught out in the tent you'd be perfectly fine. The annex is a must have during heavy rainfall, keeps you dry my only complaint about it is that water leaked through the zips.

Received my extended 1.4 roof tent , last Friday , although it took 2 months to arrive it was well worth the wait , took a trip out in it the next day and found it easy to set up and pack down , it absolutely poured down in the night and only had a a couple of damp patches near 2 seams , I didn’t have chance to weather in which is the advice Ventura gave.
I found the guys at Ventura very helpful and they were very quick at responding to emails .
No faults in the purchase apart from the wait, which I know was out of their hands, no faults on the tent at all , I changed the washer size on the ones you use to attach the tent to the rails ( bigger ones ).
So all in all very happy .
Can’t wait for the next trip .

Ordered an extended deluxe in may and was told shipment was due end of june beginning of july and it arrived within that period of time and i was updated by email along the way , i collected from their warehouse and William fitted it for me and was brilliant and explained everything and gave a full demo of the tent , ive had 2 nights away in it and it was amazing , great value for money and looking forward to many more trips over the summer as its staying on the roof until September time now and the ease of setting it up and always having it available for last minute trips is for me what makes it so appealing as i came to this from a trailer tent

I originally ordered the delux roof tent during early May. Owing to various shipping delays it arrived mid-July. Ventura management communicated to me when issues arose and even upgraded me to the extended delux for the additional 6 week delay (originally delivery was set 6 weeks from the original order). I have to say I'm very impressed with the overall design and quality of the roof tent. All stitching and seams seem solid enough and when upright it is really airy and has a spacious feel to it. I have slept in it for 1 night and it was very comfortable. A couple of negative bits: Instructions could be improved and a set of washers were missing - nothing I couldn't sort however.

After reading a lot of reviews I was dubious about Ventura Roof Tents, but we decided we didn’t want to /couldn’t spend £1200-£1500 and had a punt on Ventura. Other than the usual shipping delays that EVERY company is having, the experience has been great. William/Charlotte and the small team kept me in informed, even some phone calls (never had from other companies) to keep me updated. They are a small company, but really friendly people and they do care, but only have a certain amount of time, so sometimes not always immediate response. We followed the advice to wet down throughly before first use and even for belt braces added a bit of Fabsil. First time out we had torrential rain, thunder and lightening…… tent was perfect, zero leaks and i was looking for them (to my wife’s annoyance). We had the annex which was requested by the better half, but was a fantastic addition. I would recommend purchasing an anti condensation mat as the metal floor did get cold but no wet sheets/mattress. At the show we saw other people with Ventura and all had similar feedback, great value for money roof tent. Just placed order for 270 awning as well 👍

William was so helpful fitting the roof tent and answering all our questions. No pressure, just honest advice. Great quality product and brilliant customer service = happy campers!
