I've just had my second beautiful cut by Tatyana, and I couldn't be happier. The salon is comfortable, imaginatively decorated, and in private 'salons' — the kind of place where I instantly feel at ease (unlike most salons with other customers and passersby able to see middle-aged me in far-from-flattering-mode through their state of the art window ... haven't we all felt like that?!).

Venus's customer service is truly top-notch. I had to postpone an appointment a couple of weeks ago, left a voicemail, and was called back right away: they made rescheduling effortless — and friendly.

Tatyana not only loves what she does; she's super talented, and really listens and understands what I'm after, however vague my ideas. On both occasions I've left feeling really happy with my hair, refreshed and relaxed, and genuinely looking forward to my next visit. In all, I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Thank you!

There's a new gal at Venus called Tatianna who is fantastic - listens to what you say - she did a great job on my wash cut n blow-dry even gave my poker straight hair some waves - I would definitely recommend trying her out - she's my new fav stylist.

I booked with Alana and she was just amazing, she kept chatting to me which made the appointment so enjoyable and fun, my hair feels amazing and looks incredible, she really looked after me and i couldn’t ask for anything more!

I went for the first time to Venus in Bedford in Saturday. The staff were all lovely and friendly. I had Alana in the Harry Potter room to do my hair and she was lovely. She listened too how I wanted my hair and explained everything as she cut my hair. Have already booked my next appointment. Thank you

She takes the time to listen to what you would like and advises with hair health in mind. She takes time and care to ensure everything is perfect. Such a great personalised service! Lovely treatments today from my favourite Beauty Salon Venus in Tavistock. Beautiful nails by Sophie followed up with Kirsty for a very relaxing and much needed back neck and shoulder massage finished off with a mini facial. Treatments are always superb. Professional Service by Kind happy and friendly team. Highly recommend this Beauty Salon.👍

This shop based in Edgware. I visited them to change my light blonde hair into a platinum colour which has gone all wrong. I expressed my disappointment and asked for mending it, they did but now I’m refused any treatments in this salon. I have asked for half head highlights today and the owner refused to provide with the service, telling me I should not have complained about my colour gone wrong openly! I think good customer service means receiving, accepting constructive feedback from customers openly and working for improving your services not kicking customers out because they complained you have failed to meet their expectations. I would not recommend this salon to anyone, if you dare and complain about the service you will be refused with the service next time so please think twice before visiting this shop.

I hadn’t been to a hair salon since pre-Covid but definitely needed a hair makeover. Booked an appointment with the charming and talented Yvette. Great experience. Love the new hairstyle. Will be making many return visits.

I have only been 2 other hairstylists and salons before but by far I think I may have found my way to the most lovely one ever !The staff there are very sweet, talkative and caring .On top of that I got offered drinks as I walked in and they usher me into a room of my own . They do exactly what you want and do it beautifully and accordingly doing so .The prices are reasonable and they give u offers after ur first visit !Honestly this experience has made me want to commit to only this salon as they make me feel as I am at home .

I'm so glad I stumbled across this little gem of a hair salon smack bang in the heart of Bedford town centre. The quirky themed rooms are fun and add to the ambience of the place. All the staff I came across were happy, friendly and accommodating.

My hairdresser was Elysia who knew exactly what I wanted in terms of haircut, style and colour. I wanted my natural grey hair, framing my face, enhanced a bit more for a more striking look. Elysia did an absolutely fantastic job! Thank you Elysia for making my first visit to you so special and creating exactly the look I was after.
My search for a great hairdresser and hairdressing experience is now over! I shall certainly be recommending Venus and Elysia to all my friends and family.

My first visit to today with Yvette who actually listened to what I wanted and did EXACTLY as I asked and checked throughout we were on the same page, lovely lady, lovely ambience, loved the quirkiness of the salon, booked my next appt there and then. Highly recommend
