Find An Emergency Vet
Pet Care Advice
Customer Hub
Pet emergencies can happen at any time – including when your regular vet is closed.
That’s why our nationwide network of out-of-hours pet emergency clinics are open through the night, at weekends and on bank holidays, so we’re ready and waiting to provide expert pet emergency care when your regular vet is having some time off.
Our pet emergency clinics are the pet equivalent of A&E and our purpose is to give you and your pet the care and support you deserve, at the time you need it most, whether it’s four in the morning or in the middle of Sunday lunch.
Vets Now provides this trusted service to more than 1000 veterinary practices across the UK — from over 60 dedicated out-of-hours clinics and two 24/7 pet emergency hospitals. In total, we treat around 200,000 small animals every year — our highly-skilled team works hard throughout the night, weekends and Bank Holidays. So whether you’re in Aberdeen, Belfast or Portsmouth we’re there for you and your pet when you need us most.
We’ve also pioneered other ways to help pets, pet owners and the veterinary profession, such as our comprehensive referrals service and providing our staff with industry-leading training and development opportunities. We also support the pet blood transfusion charity, Pet Blood Bank UK. Meanwhile, our two hospitals — in Glasgow and Manchester — are home to some of the UK’s leading specialists in the field of emergency and critical care and provide care 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Extortionately expensive! (and had the cheek to add on a donation without asking!)

They were so kind and did everything they could and more to save my beautiful cat, and even though I lost him they helped me through the whole process of letting him go. I feel they really care for the animals.

We arrived to the out if hours clinic with a very poorly pup. The staff were brilliant. Welcoming, friendly and reassuring.

Used for emergency out of hours service and was grateful to have such a service for our poorly dog but found the vet who greeted us to be more interested in sorting out the costs/ finances/ insurance cover than looking at our dog first.
No reassuring manner with our scared and in great pain dog.
Had to leave our dog in their care and didn’t feel confident about it.

Very efficient service. Didn’t have to wait too long to be seen. Vet very thorough and reassuring at a worrying time. Like all out of hours services, it’s expensive but so glad it was available at my time if need for my dog.

Absolutely atrocious company, during the whole ordeal of my mum's cat being admitted through rosemary lodge veterinary hospital, they were constantly demanding money, we always paid and yet they always demanded more. In the end we lost our beloved 4 year old cat and it is this company and rosemary lodge that I am holding responsible, when they sent a condolence card they couldn't even get our surname right first time. Between them and rosemary lodge they took £6000 from my family and still we lost our cat!! Steer clear of this company. Even when you complain they make a right hash of it and need 35 days to tell me who messed up and why our 4 year old cat lost his life!!
