Our pet emergency clinics are the pet equivalent of A&E and our purpose is to give you and your pet the care and support you deserve, at the time you need it most, whether it’s four in the morning or in the middle of Sunday lunch.
Vets Now provides this trusted service to more than 1000 veterinary practices across the UK — from over 60 dedicated out-of-hours clinics and two 24/7 pet emergency hospitals. In total, we treat around 200,000 small animals every year — our highly-skilled team works hard throughout the night, weekends and Bank Holidays. So whether you’re in Aberdeen, Belfast or Portsmouth we’re there for you and your pet when you need us most.

Asked to confirm dog was able to travel.
We were asked by a referral hospital to have a local vet confirm our dog was able to travel 45minutes up the M1. We asked if vets now would just give him a quick once over as time critical. They looked in his eyes, put a thermometer in him and we were in there for approximately 5 minutes. Most of this was us telling them we didn’t want medicine as we couldn’t administer it(anally) whilst driving up the M1. In the end we gave in and took it (they decided one wasn’t enough) and handed it over to the hospital when we got there for them to dispose of. £340 for what I would call inferior albeit profiteering service.

Caring and professional
My dog collapsed late at night and I contacted this surgery and they were so caring and professional.
I arrived and so seen almost straight away, the receptionists were really good also. Help talking to us to keep us calm.
The vet herself was also very good, gave us options and explained them in detail.
Overall a 5 star visit.

Out of hours vet care
The vet & nurse on duty that night were very understanding & patient with our cat, who had taken ill 2pm in the morning. We brought him in as he had had a couple of fits due to his diabetes. They said we could take him home after an hour, after they had treated & monitored him .

Team were understanding our concerns and listened to our understanding of our Dog’s ailment.
They very quickly invited us to the surgery for a consultation.
The use of ICT to confirm the location and our arrival was helpful and made information clear.
The vets attention and care to our dog and understanding was excellent. Explanations were clear.
The insurance process was made extremely clear - completing online forms made it so easy to put through.

Out of hours vets service
I was very impressed on how quickly we were dealt with over the phone. Very clear instructions on how to get to the vets. At the vets we had a helpful person straight away. We waited for the vet a short time. He was professional through out and very thorough. I would not be worried to use such a good service again.

Very caring service
We had to take our dog to the vet as an emergency. The treatment and attention from the staff was absolutely exceptional. The veterinary nurse never left us alone for more than a few minutes and the vet took the time to explain all that we needed to know in detail. It was not cheap, but I would not hesitate to go back if needed.
