About Vets Now
Pet emergencies can happen at any time – including when your regular vet is closed.
That’s why our nationwide network of out-of-hours pet emergency clinics are open through the night, at weekends and on bank holidays, so we’re ready and waiting to provide expert pet emergency care when your regular vet is having some time off.
Our pet emergency clinics are the pet equivalent of A&E and our purpose is to give you and your pet the care and support you deserve, at the time you need it most, whether it’s four in the morning or in the middle of Sunday lunch.
Vets Now provides this trusted service to more than 1000 veterinary practices across the UK — from over 60 dedicated out-of-hours clinics and two 24/7 pet emergency hospitals. In total, we treat around 200,000 small animals every year — our highly-skilled team works hard throughout the night, weekends and Bank Holidays. So whether you’re in Aberdeen, Belfast or Portsmouth we’re there for you and your pet when you need us most.
We’ve also pioneered other ways to help pets, pet owners and the veterinary profession, such as our comprehensive referrals service and providing our staff with industry-leading training and development opportunities. We also support the pet blood transfusion charity, Pet Blood Bank UK. Meanwhile, our two hospitals — in Glasgow and Manchester — are home to some of the UK’s leading specialists in the field of emergency and critical care and provide care 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Triage with the Nurse was free which I wasn't expecting. Very busy but staff doing their best. Was approx 3 hour wait so being that my cat was cleared of any obvious urgent issues by the nurse, we went home and waited for our regular vets to open.

Poor treatment for my dog
After a difficult 9 days with vets now glasgow which landed my dog in critical care due to delaying antibiotics for an ecoli infection.£9000 bill which should of cost few hundred.
Mediation team got involved took 6 weeks for them to get back with a reply telling me vets now glasgow we're not mediating with them .
Vets now glasgow told me they sent a poo sample off , when I questioned them as to were the samples are sent to they came back with it wasn't sent off.
Misleading not to be trusted.the ooh vets English was not very good. She didn't seem to very knowledgeable I had to question her if she was actually a qualified vet. Please avoid they will take all your life savings off you and not give your pet the correct treatment which could land your pet in critical care which happened to mine. I have read its happened to others. Disgusting .
Vets now glasgow you should be ashamed of yourself. Save yourself time and don't waste it replying to me with your BS . A lieing , thieving company.7700

Kindness and Compassion
Would like to thank Jenny & Stefan for their kindness and compassion shown towards me, and my wee cat, Astral. Communication was on point and no question was a silly question. I have dealt with many veterinarians over the years and only few have gained my respect from the empathy shown. Jenny and Stefan have certainly gained that respect and appreciation. Although the procedures were indeed very expensive, there was less emphasis on this during our consultation, and it very much felt that Astral and me were at the centre. Whilst I don’t yet have all the answers, I received a very comprehensive report of every procedure and suspected diagnosis, by the time I had got home and settled. This allowed me to process information at my own pace. Thank you again for taking good care of my boy on Thursday 25th.

The ladies were great
The ladies were great. It was my darling dog. I was upset but was utterly at ease on the phone, to bring my GSD to an appointment immediately. When I got there it was busy. Was seen and was given options, on what to do. My darling Holly got sorted. Nothing to much bother for the ladies and they were very helpful. Thank You
