Poor advice. Wrong diagnosis. Inconsistent advice from vets. Really poor. I won't use again unless I really have no other choice.

Pet Care Advice
Customer Hub
Pet emergencies can happen at any time – including when your regular vet is closed.
That’s why our nationwide network of out-of-hours pet emergency clinics are open through the night, at weekends and on bank holidays, so we’re ready and waiting to provide expert pet emergency care when your regular vet is having some time off.
Our pet emergency clinics are the pet equivalent of A&E and our purpose is to give you and your pet the care and support you deserve, at the time you need it most, whether it’s four in the morning or in the middle of Sunday lunch.
Vets Now provides this trusted service to more than 1000 veterinary practices across the UK — from over 60 dedicated out-of-hours clinics and two 24/7 pet emergency hospitals. In total, we treat around 200,000 small animals every year — our highly-skilled team works hard throughout the night, weekends and Bank Holidays. So whether you’re in Aberdeen, Belfast or Portsmouth we’re there for you and your pet when you need us most.
We’ve also pioneered other ways to help pets, pet owners and the veterinary profession, such as our comprehensive referrals service and providing our staff with industry-leading training and development opportunities. We also support the pet blood transfusion charity, Pet Blood Bank UK. Meanwhile, our two hospitals — in Glasgow and Manchester — are home to some of the UK’s leading specialists in the field of emergency and critical care and provide care 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

My dog was recently admitted to vets now. I was really happy with all care given to my dog. Everyone was very kind and helpful.
The only slight issue I had was, I feel front of house need to mindful that their conversations can be heard from the waiting room !

I asked for a copy of blood tests but the Nurse or vet refused.
Also I asked to correct the name that was not spelled correctly. I was told that is not possible.
I said what is the point of filling the form on arrival.
My cat was not well, Paying well over £400 for the visit.
I was told it was just the high blood pressure and my cat was given medicine for it and I was given some tablets to give him every 24 hours.
My cat died next day when I took my cat to
another vet. My cat died as I arrived at the surgery.
It was waste of my time and money to bring the cat to your place.
Very disappointed with the care and service

All the staff were really helpful and compassionate, the receptionists, nurses and vet. The time was taken to explain everything at each stage and answer my many questions. They helped me feel calmer during a stressful time

I would like to thank Vets Now for the expert care they provided recently for my Italian Spinone boy Otto. He was admitted as an emergency and from walking in the door I found the staff very professional and caring. They explained everything fully to me and I knew he was in safe hands. Thank god I had insurance as they are expensive.

Vets Now, were fantastic. Every single staff member who we met during my dogs stay, treated us with such kindness and respect in such a he’s time. The staff were so Nurturing not just to myself and family but also my dog. He left very happy and settled after unlimited cuddles from the staff, they even sent us some adorable photos of my dog during the night which put all our worries at ease.
Thank you Vets Now. You really have been the best and I would recommend to everybody that I know ! On a more technical side the hospital seems to be as well equipped as a human AE and thus far they can offer so many advanced treatments which we were so amazed by ! What an incredible facility to have for our animals <3

I took my dog in as an emergency, I’ve got him insured. But I had no idea what these guys charge. They said 9k for what he needed. My last dog had the same operation and was a quarter of the price these guys wanted. I had. No choice but to put him to sleep, they charged £1300
£900 just to put him to sleep. And a further £350 for the cremation! Daylight robbery!!! I will never ever come back here again!!!.
So if you love your pet like I did. I suggest you have your pet insured for at least £20,000… avoid this place!!!

My pup was very poorly and they were excellent. She had an overnight stay and the vet, James, called me throughout to keep me updated and was very thorough when explaining what was happening. Really made an awful experience easier to handle. My pup is now doing much better thanks to the staff there. Everyone was really lovely too!

We had to take our Tortoise in as an emergency as she had prolapsed whilst attempting to lay. All the staff and the Vet treating Molly were amazing. We were kept updated during the hours we were there and made comfortable, and kept updated once we had left. The place itself is modern, clean and comfortable. Couldn't fault them in any way and we are extremely grateful for the care Molly recieved with them. If they were a specialist reptile vets, we would register with them in a heartbeat! They went above and beyond to help her.

We had an emergency when our dog's seizure medication was lost in his transit from the US to the UK. The staff at Vets Now, worked with me throughout the morning to help me figure out the UK system and what we could do to get him a new UK prescription and get it filled at a pharmacy (many calls). They were incredibly supportive - unlike several other vets even emergency vets who basically said sorry there isn't really anything we can do. Ultimately Vets Now got me a same day appointment and a temporary prescription in time to be filled at a local pharmacy on a Friday afternoon. The staff were compassionate, friendly, kind and competent. I highly recommend Vets Now.

Amazing team at Vets Now Manchester! Quick responses from the reception staff and sent me photos of my dog while in hospital which really reassured me.
Dr.Jordan was very professional, he patiently explained the whole process.
I would especially like to thank Dr.Rachel, who was incredibly kind, empathetic, and supportive throughout the whole process. She took time to explain everything clearly on phone and In person, gave me detailed advice on how to look after my dog after discharge. Thank you very much! 💙🐾

Can’t rate them high enough. The staff were all so lovely and the nurse and vet gave the best care to my dog. I was given so much information and guided through every step of what they were doing for my pup.
Would highly recommend this practice and the services offered.

Excellent service and easy instructions on how to find the premises, a little pricey but worth paying if your pets in trouble

From our arrival at Vets-Now we were treated with kindness and compassion. This was lovely as it was, obviously, a difficult time for us. My dog had surgery and was discharged the day after with comprehensive after care advice and instructions. A phone number was provided, along with an email address for any queries. Two more appointments were made to check on Axel’s recovery. This is our first visit to Vets-Now, Manchester, and so far I have been very impressed.
