VG MEDISPA is now SkinSpace UK - see below for contact number
As with everyone else on here I tried to call my usual branch of VG Medispa to book my next appointment - only to find the number is now invalid.

After a lot of searching and emails I have found this thread - YAY!

I have just called 020 3925 3752 which is SkinSpace UK (who have now taken over VG Medispa). They said they are honouring all packages paid for - just call them and they will book you into your usual branch for treatments as usual.

Apparently all customers have been sent an email about this change. I did not receive one. Very poor communication on their part.

Only had one session with them so far but it was good. The whole company has been taken over by Skinspace UK. The leeds branch today I attended have retained all of their VG Medispa staff. Probably best to Google for their numbers

Same here. I want a refund as it hasn't worked so I had 1 sessions left which was this Saturday and I needed to reschedule. Phones and emails not working. I have no idea what to do now or who to contact.

Having rung emailed and even visited VG…

Having rung emailed and even visited VG Medispa today in Poole - I have discovered that the shopfront is shut - VG Medispa has taken my money and has yet to respond to a single email.

This is completely illegal and how on earth is this company running????

Owed Over £200 and fobbed off for months!

Owed Over £200! Been told for months my appointments were being cancelled at Poole Branch due long term staff illness and new staff had to be trained. Had even been offered an extra 2 sessions to make up for the continuous cancellations. Well I was obviously never going to get those, was I.
This has seemingly been in the pipeline for months. Clients should be told where they stand if a new company has taken over or not?

Owed at least £1,250 - what is going on?! I have been emailing VGMedispa since MAY 2019 - not a single response. I then discover that all their email addresses/contact numbers no longer exist and have been told they have gone into liquidation. However, I have since been on Companies House and found it is only one of their sister companies (Smooth'd) in liquidation, but VGMedispa are still listed as an active company. So who is dealing with my refund like I was promised? I am absolutely furious by this point.

My daughter has just started her second…

My daughter has just started her second course of treatment with Lucinda at the Bristol branch. Absolutely wonderful service, she is brilliant with my daughter who has a learning disability and we never had a problem with VGmedispa. Hopefully the course we've just started will continue as mentioned in previous reviews.

VGMedispa 'permanently closed' and they still owe me sessions outcome -

Been with VGMedispa for over a year now, just went to find the address to refer a friend and saw that the Reading clinic is now 'permanently closed'. I was automatically confused, no numbers working so started to worry a bit as they still owe me 5 laser sessions. Googled around and found this website which said that VGMedispa has been taken over by SkinSPACEUK. So I called this number 020 3925 3752 and asked what was going on and basically VGMedispa have gone into liquidation and Skinspace have bought their clinics, all appointments and sessions will remain the same it is just a new name/company. No idea why customers weren't warned or informed of this but yes, this is probably a good thing as VG's customer service was terrible. Don't pannick, just call 020 3925 3752 and they will fill you in.

Update to review skin space and pckskin

Ive been following these reviews so thought I’d share ab update, I managed to get a refund from groupon, the company has changed their name to skinspaceuk.com and pck skin, after chasing for appointment I decided it was easier to just get my money back and start again, I hope everyone gets theirs back too

Leeds laser appointment with Hannah

I have just been for my second Laser Hair removal appointment. I have a course of 6 all paid in advance. The Leeds clinic staff are amazing - really helpful. I understand the company has changed owners but I didn't notice a difference and my appointment has been really straight forward. I am on my second app - and the results have been so good. My appointment was with Hannah and she was great, really professional and very quick!! I've booked again specifically with her.

Hi All
SkinSPACEUK have taken over the locations of VGMedispa. 020 3925 3752

what you need to know:

- they will honor existing bookings, keeping the times e.t.c the same
- if you want your money back you have to speak to DMC Recovery Agent (Andy Bland or his Administrator Angela) who had advised that for my £400 i would wait at least a year whilst all assets are recorded and wont get the full amount back -- 0161 474 0920 your cancellation is not Skinspace's responsibility -

we are all between a rock and a hard place here. but i am going to finish my sessions and not book anymore. thye claimed everyone was sent an email, i work for an IT company and have had my emails checked - they didnt

I hope this helps those also panicking!

Are all branches closed?

I cannot believe what I am reading!! I wrote them today to reschedule an appointment and got an email saying that it doesn’t exist. Did they close all branches? I am in the middle of two treatments. One with three sessions left and another with one. I read that another company took over. Is it right?

Same with me. Been with them for over a year now doing my treatments and they weren't the most responsive and costumer-friendly, eeven though they were "the kindest" at the clinic.

I am in same situation

I am in same situation. I already paid in advance my treatment and my appointment has been canceled for the same reason - therapist was seek. I am trying to re-book and the phone is invalid now. I did not received any email telling me that the clinic will close and how to have my money back. Actually I just discovered that this happen because I looked at internet and I saw a lot of people complain. Someone now if have any action been tacking?

VGMedispa taken over by SkinspaceUK

I, like others below, was a bit worried when I tried to call VG Medispa this morning to rearrange an appointment and the number was invalid! I contacted SkinspaceUK who have taken over, and spoke to someone who assured me that any deposits paid and treatments booked in will be honoured. The Bristol clinic is still open and my treatment is going to continue the same as before.

Throughout my treatment so far everyone has been really friendly and provided excellent service. They are a bit pushy with sales but to be expected really.

I can corroborate all these reviews…

I can corroborate all these reviews from the bad service to not answering their phone calls and emails bouncing back. I was waiting to hear the outcome from my complaint and was going to write to the ombudsman but now I don't know where I stand and If I will get my money back.
