I wouldn't recommend VG Medispa (now…

I wouldn't recommend VG Medispa (now called SkinSpace UK) in Bristol to anyone. Reasons below:
- You pay a fair amount of money for a treatment but never get a formal written document in which your treatment is specified with what it includes. Yes, they will send you the sheet with the precautions to take, the type of machine they use, etc. But you don't get a document where clearly states you've booked 3 leg sessions, for instance.
- Most of my sessions they've given me brokem protection glasses.
- They're never sure how many sessions you've had.
- If they give you some sort of written document, it's hand-written, without the name of company anywhere and not a proper printed document.
- Customer service is terrible. If you keep them waiting for some minutes they threaten you with counting that session as used for being a bit late (reason of being late that they will give you a time but then they change it). But if they keep you waiting, sometimes for 15 minutes, no apologies or anything.
Terrible, don't recommend it at all.

Honestly

Honestly, the worst customer experience I have ever dealt with. Every appointment I have had - either the appointment was moved to a time I couldn't do without informing me and I had to call again to move it back or it was inexplicably cancelled. Most recently, the stuff told me they booked me an appointment as I left and they hadn't. Once you actually get in for your appointment the hair removal is fine but not worth the hassle of trying to get an appointment. I have actually booked laser hair removal with a different company as I am bored of deaing with VG Medispa. Don't bother with VG Medispa Fitzrovia for your own sanity!

Terrible service and would not…

Terrible service and would not recommend this company. They took my payment, then repeatedly cancel booked appointments with very short notice. They would leave messages saying they will be in touch to re-book... but I heard nothing, leaving me to chase them. This happened to me five times. From a series of eight treatments paid for I have only managed to receive one over the course of seven months. I have asked for a refund repeatedly over email and phone and still nothing. Not even an acknowledgement of my email, calls nor voicemails.

Laser hair removal

I had Hannah today for my laser hair removal. She was lovely, professional and everything went super smoothly. The clinic is very clean and relaxing and I look forward to my next appointment, it was visually pain free and I was in and out very quickly.

First experience of laser hair removal

I booked directly through the Leeds branch as they offered the same offer as Groupon. I was able to be booked in for my test patch and have my first treatment (Hollywood and perianal area) 2 days later! The staff seem really polite and very welcoming! I had Hannah carry out my first treatment and she has been lovely and reassuring (as this is my first experience of laser hair removal). She was really professional and made sure I was okay throughout the treatment, which is a bonus! I have my next session booked in 6 weeks time and look forward to seeing the results!

Appalling service in the past month

My experience in the Poole branch for laser hair removal has been hit and miss. When my appointments go ahead, the therapists have been great and the Soprano Ice is a great machine. However, I’ve had at least a third of my appointments cancelled. This has been more of an inconvenience in the past but the last cancellation was in mid June and, despite me calling at least six times and emailing twice no-one has had the courtesy or professionalism to call me back. I was just about to buy another multi area six sessions but will not even consider it unless service picks up. I’d be grateful if someone could contact me ASAP. My name is Frances Davies and, as mentioned, I’m a client at the Poole Clinic.

I got a deal on Groupon for 6 laser sessions, just had my third today, Anna is really professional, takes her time and thorough. I've had her twice and booked next one with her too. Just one session so far not happy with but all friendly staff.

Great experience- Lovely staff, easy to make appointments

I got a really good deal off groupon for 6 laser treatments for one area in Leeds and I had an excellent experience. Staff were great, especially loved one member of staff, Anna, who was exceptionally careful and thorough, did not rush through it as some others have done. Also making appointments was easy and I could pretty much always get an appointment around the date and time I wanted, even at short notice. Would definitely recommend, especially with all of the good deals!

It's absolutely the worst place! Avoid at all cost

I've been to the VGMedispa in Richmond and it is absolutely the worst place for treatment I've ever experienced. Appointments have been cancelled a number of times with the worst one being when I was at the clinic waiting to be seen. There has been absolutely no difference which means I've basically thrown my money away and the worst is being welcomed by a receptionist rolling her eyes because she was inconvenienced that I was 5 minutes late. Employee turnaround is quite high and appointments are difficult to secure. Don't waste your time, energy or money on this.

Note: in response to the reply on 26 July from VGMedispa, although its true that I have been in contact with customer service, they have gone quiet and my follow up email has been ignored. The resolution is still pending and already its been over a week since I've heard anything from you.

I was given this as a present

I was given this as a present, 6 treatments in the Birmingham Salon, I have not read the other reviews on this, but can see the majority are poor, I have to say that I have never had any issues, with the venue, treatment or staff. My treatment has - as far as I can see - been a success and I would recommend to friends. I will have a "top up" session in the future, I was not pressurised into buying more - its there job to offer the correct treatment and upsell, don't be so naive and say "no" if you don't want them - its quite simple.

Don’t invest your money in this…trading under multiple names

Don’t invest your money in this company. The customer service you receive is shocking. No compassion for their clients. All about the bottom line. Will treat you for laser even if your hair isn’t suitable. Will cancel your appointments last min. Rush your treatment so it isn’t effective.

Appalling company with illegal practices

Appalling company with illegal practices. They will pressure you to buy treatments up front, with very little result. They will repeatedly cancel appointments but do not think for a second you will get your money back.
They will provide false contact details if you attempt to escalate your issue, both fake emails and fake head office contact details. The company refuses to engage with the retail ombudsman or any formal communication.
If you want to get your money back you will have to commence legal proceedings.

Poor customer care

Poor customer care for regular customers.

And please don't trust the people who answer the phone. I booked an appointment for 2 months' time and it wasn't made. I turned up and they had no idea.

No apologies. Not even a response.

High staff turnover, which is away worrying .

You'll notice a reply from VG. In actuality, they do not respond to emails.

THE WORST SALON. DO NOT TRUST!! IT IS SHAMBLES!

I have prepaid for two infrared sessions £650 12th July 2018 it will be a year to date tomorrow!! All my appointments have been cancelled with no notice, re schedule and cancelled again due to short staff, illness and resignation! I left several messages, sent few dozens of e-mail, not even single reply or acknowledgement! I have managed to speak to the manager once back in January. Still absolutely radio silence since. No appointments, no refund, it has been a year to date!!
I have NEVER EXPERIENCED this in my entire life. I have only one option left to take them to the court.

I had a consultation today at the…

I had a consultation today at the Birmingham clinic with Laura. She was so lovely and reassuring and answered all my questions even the ones I thought were silly. They have managed to fit me in for my first laser treatment in 2 days! Amazing telephone customer service also Lauren answered all of my questions and did not make me feel under pressure at all. Having read other negative reviews of the company in general on here, they do not compare to my experience at all so far at the Birmingham clinic.

Very disapointed

Very disapointed . I bought 6 sessions for 2 small areas upper lip and chin by 59.99. In the first session they told me I should by at least more 4 sessions by the standard price I refused and in every sessions the pressure increase I still saying no because I do t like buy nothing under pressure. Apart of that I made 3 sessions on Croydon branch that suddenly closed and they forward me to the London branch( where the treatment it's much better).however in my 5th session I was pressed once again to buy 6 extra sessions I refused and to be honest I feel that they were not clear and honest when they advertised 6 sessions as a full and complete treatment on Groupon as later it's not what happen. Concluding I will finish my treatment next month with 6th session and if I see in the future I need some more I prefer pay In different place where I don't feel that pressure for sales.

Definetely it was not a good experience and they lost a potential loyal customer because I could make other areas of my body.
