Expensive, Slow, Unreliable, Worst company ever
We ordered 4 light items on Amazon.com shipped them to Viabox. The shipping arrived in 2 packages.
They charge more than 150 USD for shipment of 4 light&small items (30x30x20cm) under 1.5kg to Europe. They could put the items in 1 package, but this takes 5-7 days to handle it.
The customer service takes 2-3 days to response and the response is automatic and not taken care of individually. They don't care about their customers.
STAY AWAY!!!! Cannot understand the other reviews here with positive experience.

Poor Experience
I recently had a parcel sent to me from my viabox address to my home address outside the US. They provided a tracking number that did not work, it has been 6 days now and they have not responded to customer service request. There is no way to contact them to let them know that this is now a serious issue. Unimpressed! Where else can I post a complaint to make sure no one else every goes through my experience?
Poor service, high fees
I've had a terrible experience with customer service, average response time: 7-10 days. Their website brags about how cheap their services are compared to others, but in reality you end up paying more. I've had 25ml perfumes and creams rejected for being "restricted" then asked to pay $39 to ship those cosmetics by UPS ground back to another US address (which is more than the value of the items). So far my package is very late, the calculator said "3-5 business days" but it's over 15 business days now and still nothing. Comparing it to others, I'd choose others, because I'm coming from one of the competing services and had a much better service (like 24/7 live chat) and I can ship cosmetics. The only good thing they have to offer is a nice website / interface.
A major let down
My first time using this company will also be my last. I was never contacted after I mailed them all the forms so I didn't even know if the system was set up. Anyway, to make a long story short, a 10 pound shipment that I paid $15 to ship there magically turned into a 15 pound shipment, and their lowest shipping price was $93.00 US dollars for 2 to 4 day shipping! And when I paid for that the estimated delivery date came back as 15 days later! What a waste of time this has been! Furthermore, it took them 5 days to re-ship the package by "2 to 4 day" shipping! So why pay for express shipping when it takes them 5 days just to put it in the mail, and then it takes another 2 weeks to get the package?!
Stuck with VIABOX Don't know what to do?
I received all my packages and sent a request to via box for repacking on 12th Dec. After sending reminders finally got a notification on 21st Dec that the package has been repacked. However all the items, description, price and qty were removed from the control panel and one line given. Promptly requested them to pls add lines so that I can put in the related details and get my package shipped.....Since 21st...I have been sending daily reminders....via support and chat....No answer...Called by tele...left msgs...No answer....Couldn't get the gifts by Christmas and now even the New years.....My first experience was very good....but this time is the worst...Don't know what to do!!!!!
STILL STUCK WITH VIABOX
My last review did woke them up and finally I press the ship out button. The update on via box's website was "Dispatched on Jan 3rd" and my package was suppose to get to me in 3-5 business days.To my surprise the actual shipment was picked up on 7th Jan as stated by Aramex tracking website....As of now 11th Jan their is No update on Aramex website and Viabox, as per their habit of super duper response, have not responded to my support questions.

To my surprise just found out from Aramex that viabox has not handed over the package to them and only tracking no has been generated....can you imagine since 3rd Jan they have not done anything....VIABOX PLEASE WAKE UP!!!!!!

They keep customers informed with email notifications at every step of the way. From the time your package arrives to Viabox warehouse, to when they ship it and they provide tracking to track the package during the entire transportation time from USA to Europe.

I've been shipping with Viabox for the past few years and I never had an issue with my shipments. People should give Viabox support a chance to solve their shipping issues before they rush to making false accusations about a company that has been around for years.
Waiting more than 1 month for delivery!
I was waiting for them to REPACK which they boast as one of their free services to reduce delivery charges. They said it would be done within 5 days, after 3 weeks of emails and excuses I gave up and just paid extra to ship the packages as they are. I selected a 3-7 day delivery service. After 10 days I'm still awaiting tracking details.
This means I've been waiting over 1 month for my goods and I'm still unsure if i'll ever receive them. I had weekly shipments going to viabox and the service was always bad. Everything was a few weeks late but I've never been waiting this long before and it doesn't seem to be getting any better. Avoid, as once they have your goods, 'legally' they can just do what they want and they know it.
It's just 'logistically' (forget about the rest!) impossible that ANYONE gets their goods in a couple of days as you may have read. Be warned and question why people are saying this. It takes days for them to register your goods, then a 'repack' adds on more time, then they have to pass the actual goods to the courier. The quickest I've ever received a delivery is 15 days (when I paid for 3-5 day service) and that never happened again! I 'was' a regular user so I know what I'm talking about here.
15/12/15 - Viabox has had this review removed claiming they have no recollection of my order i.e a fake review. I'm in the process of sending supporting documentation to Trustpilot to have my review republished.
Terrible customer sevice.
I paid for my order to be shipped to me here in the UK. Viabox updated my dashboard with an incorrect tracking number and they don't seem to care at all. I have complained several times to the customer helpdesk but they keep closing the case with no help or solution at all. If they had provided the right tracking number and information, I would know the status of my package. The package is supposed to have arrived but it has not. I'm so disappointed in their service and will not be using them anymore. Please, please, please do not use viabox. There are other reliable parcel forwarding services that require you to pay just as much but be rest assured that your package is safe; viabox is not one of them.
Edit (5/12/2015): They report your reviews on trust pilot when they should be focused on providing good customer service. They still haven't gotten back to me about my package but somehow found time to report my review. I have emailed proof to trust pilot because I need people to know what they are in for, using viabox

Lost Mobile phone worth $499 to viabox
I bought a phone and sent to my suite, two days after it got there and I was immediately notified. I made payment for shipping the same day which was quite expensive ($149), few hours later I was sent a DHL waybill number for tracking.
The package arrived in 5 days, and about 6 days after DHL was still to deliver so I picked up the phone to call them, the lady told me its either my package was missing or an empty box was sent so they could not deliver.
I called Viabox and they said my package was still in the suite, and there must have been a mixup. I called back an hour later and they were no longer picking my calls. Viabox reps contradicted their statements.
Please be carefull with this company as they can misplace your item and not take responsibility for it.

I was put onto these guys after I was told by online store that they ship outside the United States.
Tested a small purchase with these guys to see how it worked out and when it all went fine and quicker then I was even expecting, I went ahead and continued forwarding purchases from various vendors with Viabox.
Great service, quick enough if your not in a hurry, and great value.

I was a little worried and hesitant about using a package forwarding service to buy some electronics from the United States... but I finally pushed the trigger... and I'm glad I did.
My packages arrived safe and sound. The packaging was very professional and the shipping via DHL took 3 days only.

I was looking for a way to buy some items from a merchant that does not ship outside the United States and I came across few people recommending Viabox on web forums.
At first, I thought this is going to be complicated and expensive, but to my surprise, the process is very simple on Viabox website and the cost of shipping was very reasonable and affordable.
Viabox shipping rates are super low and discounted comparing to the shipping charges I've seen quoted by some merchants who ship outside the United States.
It actually turns out cheaper to ship to Viabox & have them forward packages outside the United States, than to ship directly from those merchants to outside the United States, that's if they actually do which is rarely the case.
I will certainly use Viabox again to buy few other things from the US.
