If there was zero star I would press…
If there was zero star I would press that, this company should be closed down they do a huge dis service first they advertise that they provide marginal shipping rates then once they have your product what can you do except accept thier ridiculous shipping rates. Ok fine I paid 350$ in shipping for goods which totalled to 100$ ok. So I give a reliable carrier to carry the products that I have paid almost 500$ for at this point. So what do they do disregard your wishes and ship it through the cheapest carrier they can find and when you see that it has been updated by mistake as carrier you try contacting them 4 days before the items get shipped they don't respond and then once it does they lift up thier hands are like sorry the shipment is out. I need help closing down this fraudulent company. It doesn't deserve to exist.
Just a real bad company, don't trust them at all
Just real bad. Screwed up my delivery and wouldn't take the blame despite it being entirely their fault. Compensated me a fraction of what everything was worth after months of complains and legal threats from my side.
They never sent my iPhone 7 SCAM, whit Bitcoin.
They never sent my iPhone 7 bought in November 2016, I sent 1 Bitcoin that at that time was $ 700. Now in July of 2018 they are $ 6300 and I never got an answer for that. Company scam, DO NOT NEVER WORK WITH THEM.
Not acceptable at all
Not acceptable at all, really? This service is mental, i ordered a 12$ case from Walmart and as always no case for iPhone 5s can be more than 20 grams (They weight lower but that's my example), and then after they received the package from USPS, it showed nothing on my dashboard, so i contacted the support Tyrus or something was his name, he told me it will be there on monday or some other day, then i said how much will my package cost to shipp when it is no more than 20 grams, then he sent me a stupid calculator thingy to see how much it will cost i entered 0.2KG and it counted it as 1lbs and it was more than 100$ to pay for shipping, i got extremely mad at this and asked him why would it cost this much for a 20gram package then he said it will be counted as 1lbs and i don't even know what to say and i am sorry for the people that fall for this stupid scam, also he just banned me from chat, also Google please remove this site the which is the first one in the first page when you search for this, this is really something disgusting that should be removed immediately, if you are considering using this site please do not use it or you will get your money wasted.
They stole my Google Pixel 2 XL.
They stole my Google Pixel 2 XL.
It should get to Germany but they shipped it to Singapore and the support always just say: "Wait for our managers to contact you"
I have waited 2 weeks and still no email from the "managers".
Don’t use viabox!!!!
I’ve received 3 months ipsy at viabox and send it to Australia via aramex. I was happy when I received the package until I open my ipsy bag and only to receive 2-3items/bag while I supposed to receive 5 items/bag! i’ve received emails said my ipsy bag contain liquid and the shipment company won’t process it, and without any confirmation from my side, they ship my item saying it solved. You supposed to wait for my confirmation to send my package for God’s sake. It’s not like you will take responsibility for the missing item now?????
SCAM ALERT!!!!!
SCAM ALERT!!!!!
I've ordered 3 thongs for my girlfriend and 1 pair of boots which have a total value of 77$ and they weight like not over 1 kilogram. They are now asking me to pay 165$ to send it to my forwarding address.
I asked them to change it and send it to another forward company instead but they banned me from the livechat and they are requiring me for some stupid 1583 form which requires notary stamp and 2 proof of verification; drivers license or passport.
DON'T EVER USE THIS COMPANY! THEY SCAMMED MY PRODUCTS AS I AM NEVER GOING TO PAY 165$ FOR MY PRODUCTS THAT HAS A VALUE of 77$ WHICH ARE CALVIN KLEIN THONGS AND TOMMY HILFIGERS.
Monetary Loss: $77.

If you check BBB's website, which is an established consumer protection agency, viabox or Viaddress has a F rating. F being the lowest from A to F.
"BBB file experience shows a pattern of complaints alleging that the firm did not deliver the packages as agreed."
In the "industry comparison" link at the bottom of the page, you will find 53 companies within the same business category (mailing services). Viabox has the most complaints over a 36 month period. There is only 1 other company close to viabox and its not even in the same range as viabox (5-25 complaints vs 25-99 complaints). A whooping 50 out of 53 have 0 complaints over a 36 month period. There is only 1 other company in the 1-4 complaints range.
Next, notice that viabox is classified under the smallest size category. For a company that claims to be the "leader in package forwarding", that's an incredible low size to be a "leader" of an international business category with so much exposure.
Very poor quality support
Very poor quality support. When you raise tickets with their support, they don't respond and ignore you.
WARNING -DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE
1. shipment tracking from ebay showed it was delivered to their addressed but viabox claimed they never received it. how am i supposed to contest that? usps shows it was accepted! but viabox insists its not in their warehouse. i demanded refund but they simply said i’d have to ask the seller. MY ITEM WAS STOLEN FROM THEIR WAREHOUSE and they RUDELY IGNORED RESPONSIBILITY.
2. plenty of shipping partners but ALL OF THEM ARE RIDICULOUSLY PRICED. they charged $56 just to ship to an adress in portland—literally the same city where my suite was located! i asked to send via usps priority for only $13 and no, they insist to ship via ups ground (where they probably make 70% profit) or they will discard the item.
3. you have to go to their mainpage and message their “zendesk” service in order to get a reply. if you message them directly from your suite (which would have been more covenient as it has your suite information already), you will NEVER hear back.
4. log in page ALWAYS takes you to “sign up now” (theyre always selling!) so if youre an existing costumer you have to search for the scroll up button just to log in.
5. user interface on the iphone does not display properly, always covering other boxes.
Dont use them
Dont use them. They are rip off. They have false information on they being cheaper than others. They charged 180 dollars for one and i am still waiting that laptop to arrive. Do not use them you will regret
just what I was looking for
I needed to buy a pair of shoes that were only available on US Ebay
Unfortunately that Ebay seller doesn't shipt outside the unites states.
After a quick web search, I came across Viabox and it was just what I was looking for
I used Viabox few times in past couple of years
I have used Viabox few times in the past couple of years and I'm very pleased with their service.
My packages always arrived on time and tracking info was most of the time accurate. I'll continue using them & recommending them.
Avoid using this company
The only reason this rating gave one star is that it was not possible to give less than that. Viabox charged me a billing weight of 7 pounds for some coin batteries that they said could not be shipped then- after several emails back and forth- only refunded me a portion of the weight they originally charged for the shipment. First off, these were coin batteries that weighed maybe 2 ounces NOT SEVEN POUNDS. Secondly, if they can't ship them that is OK but why do I have to pay an overly ridiculous billing for seven pounds when the invoice is made and then be refunded only a portion of what they charged for the shipping fee?
Viabox uses some kind of ridiculous method to determine the weight of items that are forwarded. They measure the package size then come up with what they think it should weigh regardless of what the actual weight is of the item. i would not complain if they just weighed the package then used that as the billing weight but to come up with some pie-in-the-sky number which is completely unrelated to what is in the package is ridiculous.
I was charged over $200 for a package that UPS said weighed only 7 pounds total. The package was an amalgamation of several orders none of which weighed more than a couple pounds. The shipping charge was over three times the cost of everything that was included in the shipment.
I have noticed that Viabox has many negative reviews on Trust Pilot about service and billing and I would have to agree that this is a poor choice to use if someone wants to have items forwarded overseas.
Sign me a very dissatisfied customer
They hold your packages HOSTAGE.
They hold your packages HOSTAGE.
I used the website on my phone to order mail. The shipping rates that their website showed on my phone were much cheaper than the rates shown on my laptop. So, I paid for my package remailing and checked out. A few hours later, they send me a bill for a few hundred more dollars. Yes, a few HUNDRED more dollars to get the package that I checked out/paid for already. They claimed the previous shipping rate was wrong. Ok, then why did their mobile website allow me to checkout then?
Rates are absorbent in general. I ordered a photo print that weighs literally no more than a 8 x 10 piece of paper. I paid $18 to ship this with the "economy" shipping option. I ordered 10 wedding invitations on 5 x 7 notecards wtih envelopes. The cost to remail these 10 cards to me was over $150.. .WITHIN THE USA. Yes, we're talkign $150+ to remail 10 greeting cards WITHIN THE USA. I live WITHIN THE USA. Seriously, Amforward lures you in with supposedly cheap shipping- then MULTIPLES their rate after you actually get packages sent to them.
I've paid over $400 this month ALONE to have ViaBox remail me 10 greeting cards and 1 8 x 10 photo print. WITHIN THE USA. Truly absurd pricing.
They often deny some mailings, claiming it's a prohibited item... AFTER you pay for it. I ordered a small novel/book. They refused to send it. It wasn't a banned book or anything scandalous, but they refused to send it.
If you are shipping items EVEN WITHIN the USA, their remail shipping rates are outrageous. If you're international, I can't imagine the absorbent rates you'll pay.
RUN from Viabox. Seriously. Unless you're a millionaire, RUN, RUN, RUN!!!!!!
Hidden fees and overcharge galore, stay away
I compared the different reshipping option and chose viabox based on their website showing a comparison table where they boast free repackaging service, free consolidation service and no hidden fees.
First their service is very basic, almost everything has to go through opening support ticket which can take 1-6 days to get answer which often fails to address the question but they close the ticket as solved anyways.
Support is slow, not efficient and at times feels like talking to a wall of bricks.
There is no way to ask for repackaging. this has to be done through opening a support ticket and filling everything manually. Then here's the answer I got from support about using their free repackaging service:
-- start quote
As this is a free-service we receive a number of requests everyday. Therefore, please allow 2-5 business days for our warehouse to complete a repackaging request. (We can repack 10 orders maximum per request)
Less than 10 items : Free
10-20 items : $25
21-40 items : $35
And so on, +$10 for each 20 more items..
Note: Once your orders are in the repacked box, we will not be able to add in new orders
-- end quote
I have 34 regular mail envelope to open and put in a single cardboard box I provided. I followed the instructions and stayed under the 10 items/request so I open 1 request a day for 10 items to be added to the box.
They were all denied, support sent me another message telling me that now the limitation is not 10 items/request but 10 items per box. To get the free repackaging I have to split my 34 letters in 4 boxes.
All the mail would comfortably sit in one box as it can hold about 10 times as much, the catch is that shipping fees is calculated based on volume so 4 boxes would net them a much bigger shipping fee.
Now shipping fees, viabox offers a shipping rate calculator which is fraudulent, the proposed shipping fees are clearly marked up for no reason, but on top of that for no valid reason suddenly the cheap option are "not available for my country".
If i want to ship one large parcel i can ship with the not so expensive option, but when I want to ship 20 consolidated letters which is much smaller and lighter than the large parcel this option is removed "not available for my country." and the cheapest option is $250 to ship one large envelope with 20 letters inside to Europe.
Hidden fees all the way, from being charged for a free service to hiding fees in marked up (maybe x4-x6) shipping cost.
I feel taken hostage as my valuable items are in their storage and If I don't accept their extortion scheme, they will put my stuff for auction after 6 months. Legal action is not an option as I'm overseas and not a US citizen.
I advise to stay away from these lying crooks, or if you choose to do business with them, try to have the less possible number of items, expect slow and difficult must go through support and very expensive shipping fees.
It's probably cheaper to go with another reshipper which tells you upfront how much they charge.
Shipping rate calculator is fraudulent
Their Shipping rate calculator is fraudulent. I check him before i join and he seems very fair on a cheapest forwarder (Asendia), and on my big surprise when the package arrived to them (less than 1oz) the price was tripled. That isnt all, they manage to lost the package, since nobody responded on my claim i open case with paypal and paypal refund me for what i pay to viabox for forwarding the package. I lost the money what i pay for item on ebay but i learn something - dont use Viabox. Avoid in big circle.
Really bad, will never use again
They falsely advertised how they shipment rate is much lower than competitors like MyUS.com so I took a leap of faith to try their service. The dimensional weight came out to be doubled the actual weight of the products and when cross-checking shipment rates from the same carrier for the same dimentional weight on another forwarding site, the price is 30% more on Viabox. Will never use them again and would recommend others not to either.
DO NOT USE VIABOX
I went with viabox because their initial shipping estimate was the cheapest. Sent my package to them. The shipping rates I was quoted quadrupled. Quotes well over $200 to ship a book. Ridiculous! I needed my package do selected the cheapest option.
The tracking number they provide is a joke. There are no updates even days after shipping. I will never use them again.
