Viagogo sold us Oasis tickets in…

Viagogo sold us Oasis tickets in October 24 for a concert in July 25. They took €800 from us. In the days leading up to the concert we still had not received the tickets. They claimed they were to be transferred from another reseller. This continued right up to one hour before and still no tickets. At that point they said it was out of their control and that we probably would not get the tickets. Effectively they sold tickets that did not exist or they were sold at a higher price to someone else. They kept €800 of our money for six months and although we did get a refund we did not get the interest they probably earned on our money. This company has zero integrity and we will never use them again.

I bought tickets

I bought tickets, when they finally arrived the day before the event, I noticed the price was half of what I paid. Not only that the seats were narrow benches with very bad access, having to climb up to them and eg.not for the physically impaired. They will not refund, saying they were returned tickets etc etc . I will never use them again.Absolute robbery!!

Don’t ruin your experience!!!

Oh God, where do I begin?!
The whole trip was ruined because of them… My daughter and I flew to a different country for the concert. The tickets were supposed to arrive 24h before the event, but we got them 19 minutes before the show… I was trying to get the help the whole day before the event, without any success.
When we got to the venue, the ticket box people and the security told us it was a scam…
I didn’t want to believe, tried to call, email… nothing. So we bought us new tickets at the place, and when we got there, I received the tickets with the QR codes!
Apparently it’s ok by their rules. NEVER again.

Buyer punished, not protectect

I purchased two premium tickets months in advance for Jamie Cullum’s concert at the Royal Albert Hall on 12 December 2025. The seats were in the choir section, just above and behind the stage, with a frontal, unobstructed view of the artist — one of the most immersive and sought-after spots in the venue.

I paid £90 per ticket plus Viagogo’s fees. Today, tickets in that same section are being listed on Viagogo for over £250 each.

A few days ago, Viagogo notified me that the seller “could not provide the tickets” and offered me replacements in a completely different location: in the upper gallery, far from the stage and with a rear view of the artist’s back — essentially the worst area for this kind of concert.

I checked Viagogo’s listings and found that:
• The substitute tickets offered are the cheapest currently available for the event,
• Tickets in the same choir section are still on sale, and Viagogo even describes them as offering the “best views in the venue.”

I have submitted three complaints, and each time received the same generic reply: that these are the only options available.

Viagogo claims to be just a platform, but they actively manage transactions, take payments, and offer a Buyer Guarantee, which clearly promises equal or better tickets in case of seller failure. That guarantee is simply not being honored.

I am now filing a formal complaint through the EU ODR platform and consumer protection authorities, and will continue monitoring the platform in case my original or equivalent tickets are relisted at inflated prices — which would clearly suggest internal reassignment for profit.

Do NOT recommend, scam alert !!!

Do not recommend. Non-existent tickets!!

I purchased through Viagogo for the Imagine Dragons concert on July 1st, 2025.

I paid a total of €253.23 for two tickets. However, the tickets were NEVER delivered, and as a result, I was unable to attend the event.

And BEST of all, they refuse to take any accountancy and I will not get my money back. PATHETIC!!

It does what it says

Classic example when people don’t bother understanding what viagogo is and what it isn’t, but instead of spending 10 minutes they only blame the platform (and not themselves).

I have bought from this platform 4 times and never had any issue. The platform can never guarantee that the seller will not change his mind and decides to go, that he resells to someone else at a higher price on a different platform, etc. so you accept this risk. They can only guarantee money back but that’s it. In most cases everything goes fine though.

My only complaint is about the non transparent fees which you don’t see until the very last screen and even then you have to expand to see them.

Do not recommend. Non-existent tickets

I had an awful experience using Viagogo for tickets to a concert this week that I purchased in January (5 months in advance). I hadn’t received my ticket up to the day of the event - by which I had already contacted customer services a few times however was reassured tickets can be issued up to 30 MINUTES before the event is due to begin (bonkers!). So I waited and waited, and as expected no tickets received. I had paid to travel and stay at the location of the event so this was an utterly disappointing outcome and I would never recommend Viagogo to anybody. To my surprise, this was a ticket reselling website from individuals, and not actually purchasing from the event organisers.

An absolutely disappointing and fraudulent experience with VIAGOGO

On May 5th, 2025, I purchased a ticket for a concert through VIAGOGO. From the very beginning, the experience was completely misleading. After completing my payment, I was informed that I wouldn’t receive my tickets until three days before the concert, which was on June 28th, 2025. In other words, they sold me a product that they didn’t actually have available at the time of purchase. I paid immediately, but they had no tickets in hand.

On June 15th — 20 days before the event — I received a new email stating that I could now obtain my tickets. To do so, I had to click on a link that redirected me to a third-party platform, where I was supposed to accept a transfer of the ticket, allegedly from another buyer.

Upon reading the terms and conditions of that transfer, I discovered that by accepting it, I was waiving any rights to file a complaint or request a refund regarding the ticket. All rights would remain with the original buyer. They were forcing me to accept completely abusive conditions that were never disclosed beforehand during the purchase process.

I contacted VIAGOGO customer service. I waited for over an hour on the phone without getting an answer, and finally managed to speak to them via online chat. Their only response was that they couldn’t do anything, and that I had to accept the conditions imposed by the seller. They offered no alternatives, no solutions, and no refund.

At no point before purchasing was I informed that VIAGOGO didn’t actually have the tickets, that they were only acting as intermediaries, or that I would receive my tickets through a risky third-party transfer without any guarantees. I simply paid for tickets that never became my property.

I consider this platform to be a complete abuse, based on totally dishonest and fraudulent practices. I paid for a product that was never delivered, and essential information was deliberately hidden from me information that I would have never agreed to if it had been provided before purchasing.

I will never use VIAGOGO again and I strongly advise everyone to avoid buying through this platform.

Scam alert

Scam alert! I’ve bought tickets for 72 euros for Okean Elzy concert in Yerevan. When I’ve received the printed tickets they had a price of 9000AMD(20€) printed on them.
Basically Viagogo took more than 2X of the ticket price as a profit and it was not mentioned anywhere that it’s not the original price . Their support is the most useless thing both the virtual and real assistants. The website is bugged.
Do not use this ever. They have to get cancelled for such a scammer behavior

Absolutely unacceptable – I will be pursuing legal action

I bought tickets to a concert through Viagogo more than a month in advance. Two days before the concert, I received a link to download my tickets, only to find that they were not available because the seller had cancelled the transfer.

On the day of the concert, I contacted Viagogo customer service at 12:00 PM. From that moment until 7:30 PM—a full seven and a half hours—they repeatedly assured me that they were working on resolving the issue and that I would receive the tickets in time.

At 7:30 PM, just one hour before the concert was due to begin, they finally told me they couldn’t provide the tickets and confirmed I would receive a full refund. I missed the event entirely because of this.

Then, to add insult to injury, they sent me the tickets at 9:15 PM—45 minutes after the concert had already started and after having already confirmed the refund. The incompetence, disorganization, and complete lack of accountability are staggering.

Viagogo sold me something they could not deliver, wasted an entire day of my time, caused emotional stress, and completely ruined what was meant to be a special experience. I am not letting this go quietly. I will be taking this to court for breach of contract and emotional damages.

Avoid this platform at all costs.

The worst ticket marketplace on earth

The worst ticket marketplace on earth. They trick you with the recommended price and show you the available tickets they want. From different devices and using the same IP address, we see tickets with a huge price difference. Not to mention the 40 euros they keep for processing? WTF? There's nothing like Ticketswap.

Stay away from these scammers

I bought the champions league final ticket with viagogo and had one of the most stressful moments dealing with customer support from viagogo as they failed to give me a valid ticket.

They made me wait 3 hours outside the stadium, whilst I spoke to several customer support, where one stated I would receive 150% ticket value refund to help with the expensive travel cost, just for the following one to rudely retrace that offer.

Horrible 10 year old customer service, unreliable ticket and almost 1 week later I still have no refund of the ticket they failed to come through with. STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMERS

After reading reviews on Trustpilot I…

After reading reviews on Trustpilot I was doubtful I’d get my tickets to Ed Sheeran.
I stupidly bought tickets after drinking a few wines! The admin fee was outrageous but I went ahead anyway.
I got my tickets on line no issue at all, although I did contact their support who were fabulous.
I got my tickets and had a brilliant evening.
I wouldn’t use them again due to the cost but I can’t say anything negative about my experience
