Every day
Every day, it felt like personal service from every crew member entrusted with the different aspects of our
care, especially, Maria in the dining and the owners who were very generous to all passengers.
We were pleased with the accomodations.
We were pleased with the accomodations.
The food was very good
The service was outstanding once we found the servers who we liked.
Entertainment was good but we had more variety on our last cruise (American C L)
For the most part the on board activities did not appeal to me.
The excursion I would give a mixed rating
Niagara was good but would have liked more time
Rock and roll hof was a disappointment
National museum of the Great lakes was excellent
Best of the SOO ok we would have appreciated going further into lake Superior.
Mackinac was disappointing even if the weather had cooperated
Escanaba was good but needed more time
Frank Lloyd wright was excellent
Milwaukee tour disappointing except for the Papbst estate.
An Amazing Getaway Cruise
The staff was excellent. I enjoyed the on board activities. It was easy to mingle and meet other guests. I especially enjoyed going through the locks and also the wonderful excursions at each stop. The food was good and it was nice that the drinks, gratuity and wifi were included.
Staff excellent, food very good, small cabin
Service staff was excellent, and the food was very good. It was a limitation of the ship design, but the cabin size was small.
Attentive Staff and Crew on a Beautiful Ship
The staff and crew were very attentive, friendly, and did an excellent job of meeting my group's requests. I enjoyed every minute of the cruise. My cabin was comfortable and service was excellent. I did feel a need for a cart to transport me from the ship to the bus for excursions, which were well chosen and presented. I found the walking distance from ship to bus to be a lot longer than anticipated. Food was wonderful. Well prepared and presented. Entertainment was a sheer delight. Very professional and appropriate. Great Lakes is an unforgettable voyage--one not to be missed.
the staff are excellent
the staff are excellent. Alden, our waiter was a gem, could mot due enough for us.
Ketut, kept our wine glasses full and learned our preferences.
Riana ,at the pursers desk always had a smile.
Amrita in the spa saved me when i broke a nail the first day.
Angelo kept our cabin in perfect condition.
Our only complaint wa sRahul in the Grill was terrible. Once he got your food for you he seemed to disappear.
mixed report
Your boat was good, food good entertainment was good and all employs very good However was very upset when I found out that we would not be stopping in Detroit. I was never told of this and if i did I probably would have changed the trip dates. Also, we signed up for almost all of the extra shore trips and though they were O.K. they were very over priced.
We were shortchanged two excursions.
We were shortchanged two excursions.
Also we signed up for post cruise river tour with bus to airport. Apparently it was canceled without Lori telling us, leaving us in a lurch. The buffets were quite limited in selection. Lori, the excursions director, could provide us no information about the ports other than reading the excursion descriptions. The starting hotel is not convenient to downtown Chicago since it's at the end of Navy Pier.

Excellent included shore excursions and great dining and cabin service.
The seamless transition from being on…
The seamless transition from being on board, to going on excursions! Could not fully download the app, but didn’t ask…. Just used Google. Great food, music and cocktails! Have recommended to friends! Staff was awesome.
Fantastic cruise
Service and attitude by crew was fantastic. Food was great quality and served with care.
All in all fantastic experience.
Total experience exceeded expectations
Total experience exceeded expectations. Everyone was helpful, knowledgeable, and hard working. Wide variety of activities to meet passenger interests and abilities (both onboard and on shore).
The Great Lakes
Staff was amazing. Everyone on board were very courteous and helpful with lots of smiles! Food was great and the music at night was fun! We also enjoyed all of the excursions we went on. Lots to see and explore. Everyone should take this cruise! C&R Free
The staff was great
The staff was great; very friendly courteous and helpful. The itinerary was excellent; even the tour of my hometown, Cleveland, where I learned things I never heard growing up. The entertainment and Lakelorian presentations were very enjoyable
Great Lakes tour
The cruise was just great. I really appreciated all the detailed information about the lakes and boats sinking, etc. Also I loved the ship tours - the ore ship and icebreaker ship. The bus tours were very good also, although we didn’t have nearly enough time in the first mansion when we also went to the waterfalls. The tour was cut short (and the tour guide on that bus was quite awful). Mostly she shared everything about her own family, which we didn’t care to hear. I’m not the only one who felt that way!
The food was always fantastic and the waiters were top notch. Honestly, a negative was that the same entertainment night after night became a bit old. A variation in groups would be nice. The one special group that came aboard and entertained one evening was spectacular. That was a real treat. Thanks for a great trip.
Victory stands out!
Victory stands out for its classy, professional, personal and warm service and environment.
While the cabins and the showers are really small, Victory makes sure the cruise is really big and memorable.
The little touches like the personalized water bottles and the journals left a lasting impression.
Food was wonderful, every crew member had a smile and a pleasant greeting.
Service in the dining room and the grill was over the top.
I haven’t stopped talking about my cruise since I returned home.
My first cruise
This was my first cruise - at age 93. It was a challenge but am so glad I did it.
It was the Chicago to Chicago cruise, 5/28-6/12, 2026.
First off, the crew was terrific - all of them. Very professional, helpful, attentive and real.
The daily lectures were enlightening and an important part of the trip. Mansions and museums hold little interest for me but am glad I took the extra trips to tour the peninsulas, see nature and learn about the history and geology of each area.
The only awkward time was the long wait between leaving the hotel room and embarking on the Victory II.
Perhaps I'll try one more trip and explore the St. Lawrence Seaway.
Jason Hammer was helpful with advise.
We were unable to take the cruise
We were unable to take the cruise. Due to SEVERE weather in Chicago our flights were cancelled by American Airlines.
We understand that many other people were also effected by flight cancellations.
Mr & Mrs Geuting
This was my third cruise
This was my third cruise. A few of the people recognized me. They were very accommodating for my needs in the cabin and I truly enjoyed it because it is so restful for a senior.. the food was excellent, and the entertainment was outstanding. In fact, everything was outstanding. I wish you would have more solo advantages.
