I would give 3 stars for the website because there are a lot of internal advertisements and promotions that interrupt your job search, and old job postings disguised as new postings.
I give 4 stars for the experience from start to finish. They apply pressure to get you into a job quickly with their preferred partners, so you might earn less than you could have or with a subpar employer. However, they hold your hand through everything and make the process of getting a job, relocating, legal paperwork, and everything else VERY simple and straightforward. My advice is to do independent research and sign a short employment contract if it's your first time. VTJ will not walk away if you push back against their recommendations, and employers will not walk away if you want to renew your contract later. So try to ignore any pressure.
But definitely 5 stars for my VTJ assistant, Uyen Nguyen, I know that I was a difficult case for her because I backed out of several job offers that she got me to interview for, I pushed back against several of her suggestions, and my plans changed a few times. Nevertheless, Uyen helped me in whatever way I let her. She researched external job offers that I got to ensure I wasn't getting scammed. She got my paperwork legalized and processed, quickly and digitally (which can turn into a very complicated and stressful process if you try to do it on your own). So thank you, Uyen Nguyen and VTJ, for helping me start my life in Vietnam!

I was also contacted by this 'Sophie' lady, who has been mentioned as scamming people in other posts. She contacted me directly without even looking at my CV or being aware that I had registered on the platform. Then she offered me a job for $2000 a month but said that I should just 'come to Vietnam.' When I told her that I had already worked in Vietnam for another company for two years and that I would not go there without a formal contract signed and stamped by the Ministry of Education, she immediately disappeared from the conversation. I've been teaching for eighteen years. Any employer that is willing to hire you will not expect you to just go to their country without even having an interview with you. I assume it is an attempt to generate tourism revenue, and I consider it an afront to Vietnam, which I have always found to operate honestly, transparently, and take care of paperwork at the government level with precision and attention to detail.

I personally recommend VTJ as more than 100 teachers as per my knowledge from Pakistan have reached to Vietnam and have become a part of education department there.
Salary , accomodations never become challenging there.

A representative named Sophie contacted me and, after reviewing my qualifications, requested a fee to be considered for a job offer. This is highly unusual and unprofessional behavior. It's important to be cautious when dealing with such requests, as they may be indicative of fraudulent activity. This kind of conduct can tarnish the reputation of Vietnam as a desirable place to work and teach. I hope the website's administrators will take steps to address such issues and ensure a positive experience for all job seekers.

It is not appropriate to pay an agent for a job that you did not approach.

It has come to my attention that one of your agents, Uyen Nguyen, has informed me that I am not eligible to receive the standard industry rate for teaching, despite my educational background and experience. This information was conveyed to me after my holiday in Vietnam was disrupted by an invitation to an interview for a position I did not apply for.

I recently registered on their website and promptly received an unexpected phone call offering me a job, even though I hadn't formally applied for any positions. The urgency they displayed in wanting me to commence work immediately raised some concerns. Nevertheless, considering the value of gaining international experience for my dissertation, I was inclined to accept the offer.

I explained to the agent that I was touring Vietnam with my family, but she insisted that I travel to Thanh Hoa as the school was in dire need of a teacher. Within 30 minutes, I had an interview with the school and was promised accommodation and a low salary of $800, which I didn't mind since they were offering me a place to stay. So I traveled halfway across the country using my own money, bought food, and paid for my hotel stay, all from my pocket. When I arrived, I was unpleasantly surprised to learn that the so-called accommodation was a dormitory and that my family would not be able to live with me. Had I been informed of this beforehand, I would have declined the offer.

A reasonable solution would be to revise the remuneration, as the amount would now be insufficient to cover basic living and sustanance. However, I was met with racial slurs and discrimination. I was referred to as "you people," and they explicitly stated, "No Black person gets paid above $900 here." My race should not matter, as I am qualified for the role. Their response was that only White native teachers get paid $2,000–$5,000. So, because I am Black, according to the school, my worth suddenly drops. I do not support any form of discrimination.

During my conversation with the agent, I clarified that I do not require visa sponsorship as I am currently residing in Vietnam. My family will maintain tourist visas while I transition my visa status from tourist to business. While I appreciate the apology offered, I must emphasize that the cost of living in Thanh Hoa significantly exceeds that of Da Nang, as I previously explained. Therefore, the proposed compensation should be adjusted to ensure I can cover basic living expenses. Regrettably, the agent disregarded my concerns and resorted to using racially insensitive language.
