Best service and staff. I only trust The Village Goldsmith for my jewellery repairs and I love the jewellery they create. I've walked by the shop since I was a teenager and have always admired the pieces in the window.

I give the store 10/10 because I was throughly impressed by the friendly and knowledgeable associates who helped me at The Village Goldsmith. They were so helpful and patient with me even though it was super busy when I visited.
I think what spoke most to me was their kindness.

Absolutely fantastic experience, 100% highly recommend to anyone looking to purchase a beautifully crafted piece of jewellery. Love my bespoke engagement ring and done the whole process online as we live in the Waikato. Cannot fault the
wonderful service, nothing was ever a problem, changes, tweaks in design, great advice, fast responses. Will definitely be contacting them very shortly to make our wedding rings.

The whole process from looking at the various rings, discussing the occasion, catching up with Sallie, and her help and advice on how to go about procuring and delivering said ring on the day, was all amazing. Pick up at Auckland airport went without a hitch and the communication throughout the process was top notch. And last but by no means least, the ring itself is stunning and a one-off and my partner adores it.

After a wobbly start with not getting a response to my website request for help, I called TVG and was answered by the lovely Courtney who couldn't have done more to assist. We never once set foot in the store (we live in the South Island) yet the rings we received yesterday are absolutely stunning and exactly what we wanted. They were bespoke wedding rings, similar to a style we had seen on TVG's website. The process was seamless, exact and very professional. I felt like I was the only customer they had! Courtney's advice was paramount and her communication was brilliant. Not only are the finished products gorgeous, the price was extremely reasonable. Highly recommend TVG no matter where you are in the world! Kiwi 'can do' is everything :)

I really liked the help and service I got when I bought my wife's engagement ring (within my budget) a little over 10 years ago. Fast forward a few years, my wife and I went to buy 10th anniversary diamond earrings there as well. We both really like the look and feel of the shop, as well as the help we got when it came to choosing/fitting the earrings.

Customer service cannot be beaten. Product is of the highest quality and surprisingly affordable. My very favorite thing is the post purchase service, such as checking settings and cleaning etc. Even checked and fixed one of my wife's rings not purchased from them and shipped the whole lot back to us really quickly.

Fantastic customer service. Last year I bought several items in the sale, and received fantastic service when one item I had ordered was no longer available. I was able to choose a similar item in its place and was given a free pair of earrings. Amazing.

I recently inquired with Village Goldsmith about setting a loose diamond, but unfortunately, they mentioned strict policies aligning with the Kimberly policy, and they outright declined without any discussion or inquiry about the diamond. Interestingly, they have a contrasting stance when it comes to remodelling diamonds and old jewelry. Even if the existing jewelry doesn't adhere to the Kimberly Policy, they're willing to proceed. This inconsistency raises concerns about the coherence of their policies.

Moreover, my experience communicating with them over email left much to be desired. Their responses lacked helpful information and demonstrated a limited understanding of the industry. They couldn't offer guidance or point me in the right direction, which was disappointing.

Overall, my impression was that they were unhelpful, and based on this experience, I wouldn't choose Village Goldsmith for the remodelling of my jewellery.
