I bought a pair of shoes and two shirts. I'm totally satisfied with the purchase . The shirts are good quality and nicely tailored . The delivery was also fast and I think they deliver a good service especially with advise about sizing. Big thank you to Viola Milano.

This was a long story, but to be objective and make it short.

I bought a tie.

My order was late and I did not receive any answer from them until I wrote the review here for the first time.

I received an answer the day after the review. In that email they implied that it was my fault because I provided the wrong email address - not true and the first evidence is the fact that I received that very email from them.

The discussion continued, with promises not being honored. Therefore, I was ready to go hard and escalate the situation, and I gave a deadline before taking action.

The product was finally posted right after I said that it would be escalated in a few days.

I finally received the tie and it is simply beautiful. The most beautiful tie I ever owned. They also sent a pocket square as an apology.

So here is how I feel after this purchase:
1. Amazing product. Makes me want to buy a lot more.
2. Lack of transparency during the communication process, sometimes making me feel as if I were being lied to. Promises after promises while the situation does not get resolved.
3. Although they never apologized to me by email, they still sent a pocket square after.

Tom reached out to me a few times to edit my review to 5-stars because of the pocket square, and to receive a discount in future orders.

However, my conscience will not let me leave more 3 than stars because:
1. it would be unfair to other businesses that went the extra mile.
2. it would not be fair to other buyers or who rely on reviews to make their purchases.
3. I am loyal to the truth.

Therefore, I really appreciate Tom's posture in sending a gift as an apology and I believe that is the way to go. Therefore a 3 starts instead of 2.

@ViolaMilano what I would recommend for you in the future:
1. Be transparent. As you said on one of the emails "bad things happen" and as I customer I completely understand that, if things are transparent from the beginning I do not mind giving you 4-5 starts and coming back, even if the first order was not perfect.
2. Do not be afraid to apologize. It is OK to say "I am sorry", "I apologize", "We made a mistake" etc.
3. Never force your customers to give the rating you want. Rating is about how the customer feels and not about what you feel you deserve. It is a feedback for you as a business to learn from your mistakes.

I want to be fully honest, with you all.
The first orders of some years ago didn't raise any issue, however, with the latter ones I initially had to struggle a bit with them but then, as gentlemen, we have solved our misunderstandings.

On this point I confirm that probably Violamilano client services need a bit to be improved, however, I also confirm that they tried to make it up, and they did it at all.

I deem that Violamilano sells some of the best ties you may find in online stores and I think that their quality is very high even if compared with other older and more famous brands.

Found out about Viola Milano on Permanent Style and tried ordering 2 ties from them. One of the ties was out of stock, and the team immediately reached out over email to replace my order with another tie. Shipping took a bit more than a week to arrive in Hong Kong.

Customer service was fantastic and I can't be happier with the responsive customer service from Tom, Rossella and team.

Good experience thus far with Viola Milano, very interactive and supportive through selecting some fantastic ties. Can’t wait to receive them!

I first came across the Viola Milano website in late 2020. I was looking to add a couple of ties to my collection of 80+ ties. I was instantly drawn in by the design and range of ties on offer. I just had to purchase a couple of ties! I received my first couple of ties and instantly fell in love with them. Design, texture, feel, quality are all amazing. I have since purchased a number of ties since and to date my total collection of Viola Milano ties is 10 and counting!

I could not recommend VM enough. The guys in customer service are great to! Ties are amazing, you will not be disappointed.

Everytime I finish a job I reward myself with one or two ties from Viola Milano. I finished a lot of jobs recently :) Superb overall quality, fine fabrics and patterns and an outstanding service motivate me to finish some more jobs and have an excuse for excessive tie shopping. The products aren't cheap but absolutely worth their price. Also there are always discount offers from time to time, so you don't have to spend a fortune to get some very good neckware.

I've never found any ties that could come close to the Viola Milano ties!! They are top notch and set you apart from the common department store ties that everyone wears..If you want a great looking tie, look no further plus Tom will make sure you are taken care of! He's always ready to help n replying quickly when you need help..I've always had excellent customer service and their ties are worth every penny!!

This instagram page/website is indeed a scam. The premise is you buy a tie (for €130), the shipping is promised next week, then delayed another few days, then out of stock so another offered, then refund delayed etc etc. They stall and stall and stall - all whilst never actually using the word "Sorry". They rely on this technique so the majority just forget about their order. Stay away.

Just received my two beautiful packaged ties yesterday by DHL despite the lock down, DHL delivered on time to my alternate address at the office! I can not wait to wear these beauties to the office next week starting Monday! Thank you Viola Milano ❤️

Same here,ı have been shopping from Viola Milano for years now and can’t wait for more.They sell top quality ties and ı am very happy with the new shirt as well. I am baffled with some of the comments below because over the years ı always received my purchase in time.I can understand there have been delays during pandemic but who did not have problems during such a time anyway?
Tom Nathaniel is personally helping his clients on wattsapp and he is very kind and definetly very honest.They once send me the wrong ties and told me ı could keep them for free sending the right ones right after.Look at all the guys wearing ties from Viola Milano during Pitti Uomo.Look at the photo’s on instagram and look at their prices.Does anyone really think they need such silly games?
Some people can be really impatient even during covid.Will keep buying!

Buying at Viola Milano for 8 years now, good quality and very nice fabrics. During COVID some delay, but they gave me a nice present for waiting.
