Det begyndte som en kærlighedshistorie Nogle gange fører den store lottogevinst til mere end bare midlertidig glæde. Da grundlæggeren af Vipp, Holger Nielsen, vandt en bil på sin billet til det lokale fodboldstadion i 1932, blev det begyndelsen på Vipp. Han vidste det bare ikke. Han solgte bilen, købte en metalpresser og få år senere, da hans kone Marie havde brug for en spand til sin frisørsalon, gik han ud i sit værksted og fremstillede det, der i dag er kendt som Vipp pedalspanden. Holger kunne ikke have forestillet sig, at den spand, han designede i 1939, ville så frøet til et designunivers med møbler og køkkener. Heller ikke, at hans spand ville blive katalysator for et nyt hotelkoncept. Vipp er stadig et familieejet, uafhængigt dansk designfirma, der drives af Holgers datter, Jette Egelund, hendes to børn Kasper og Sofie og 45 ansatte i København. Uanset om det er at fremstille en pedalspand, gentænke det modulære, fritstående køkken, udvikle en møbelkollektion eller skabe Vipp Hotel, måler vi kvaliteten af produkter og koncepter på deres langsigtede evne til at give en oplevelse ud over det sædvanlige.

Very inferior goods

Very inferior goods. Everything squeaks and creaks. I have bought almost everything from VIPP over the years because I like the design very much and had the hope that the shoddy quality would at least reach cheap quality at some point. Unfortunately, I was too naive. A €2 plastic bin from Germany looks more valuable than the squeaky, rattling metal bins of this brand. Everything is soldered together crookedly. »Vipp« is at most the price.
If you complain about the crooked and crooked constructions, you will either be ignored or, if they do react, you will be summarily dispatched with the advice that you should simply buy new (broken) products at your own expense. The solutions to complaints are as brazen as the sale of rattling heaps of sheet metal. Unbelievable!
That would be unthinkable in Germany!

If any part is broken then VIPP's…

If any part is broken then VIPP's solution is for you to buy a new product. Don't expect any help. It's not an American company that will try to figure out the problem and help out.

If it would be possible to give 0 stars, here is the company that deserves it. I have never been in contact with anyone who was less willing to support me when the package from them was stolen outside my door (or never delivered?).
I think any normal company would be willing to give a small discount on a replacement...

"Jeg har nu skrevet til UPS, men tænker ikke det er noget vi kan hjælpe med. Hvis du har givet UPS et OK til, at sætte den foran døren og noget så har taget pakken, så er det vel i princippet egen skyld?"

Vi vil rigtig gerne hjælpe og vi efterlyste pakken hos UPS de har desværre ikke fundet pakken.
Da du aftalte med dem, at du måtte stille pakken udenfor din dør, så frafalder garantien, da pakken kan blive væk eller stjålet.
Dette er ikke noget Vipp kan gøre ved, da du selv har aftalt det direkte med UPS.

Lousy after sales service. You would think that when you buy a 'premium' product, that it includes good customer service. Nope. If your product breaks outside warranty period, forget it. Vipp customer "service" offers no help getting spare parts if your product breaks. You are just fobbed off.
