I am with Virgin and if you are with Virgin pray you don’t get issues as they are the worst company to deal with. My 2 phones lines were down. Called Friday 8am and was advised an engineer will come out on Monday. Totally unacceptable, kept calling as we can’t have our business line off for 3 days. Promised an engineer that afternoon no one turned up. Then said Saturday 8-12. Called up for an update at 8.15am and got told the engineer waited half an hr for access and also called up. 8.15??? How can he have waited half an he so they closed the job. Now still waiting and no phone line. Absolutely a disgrace.

So so bad, I run a business from home in and my fathers name and my name are on the account.
I’m moving house I call up to let them know they advise within 5 days the relevant team will call… never do.
I call up and advised I’ll get a call back the same day… never do…
Bought the house after I had checked if it was serviceable via the website, now their “sales team” who apparently arrange line installs in new properties say it’s not “serviceable” Hell it still says it is now! Apparently they claim because they have virgin residential there and not business, but all information given has inconsistencies and my trust for them is literally gone.
No result to complaints
Unreliable information
Call backs don’t exist
A month and a half since I raised I was moving address!
Worst service, phone staff are nice but I get the impression that the departments they speak to are utterly gormless and disconnected.
Every time I’ve told them to change contact number…. Staff still repeat the same thing…
Just got off the phone and rather than oh I’m sorry our website lied to you and we took a month to tell you because we can’t do basic admin they start rambling about disconnection fee’s rather than trying to find a solution because allegedly the address is not serviceable, I’ve told them it’s their mistake if it’s not then you need to fix it and get it moved to a residential or find another solution.
I personally trust the website more than the staff and I think they probably could install there but they can’t handle the processing of the request.
So angry about it literally picked the property because I could get a good line there! And ontop of that an hour on the phone to get no where!

After 58 minutes of waiting to get to speak to someone the customer service operator could not verify who i was so couldn't take the conversation any further with no other alternative provided to get a resolution to my problem. Really poor from such a large company

Really I would like to give no stars. The service is diabolical. I keep getting the sales team ring me and when I ask to be removed from marketing, they just put the phone down on me. I also ask to be directed to a manager and once again, they slam the phone down.
Please give me peace!!!
Nothing has changed still getting multiple nuisance calls

Simply the worst service - so bad I never even got to experience the actual broadband. I write this at the end of Oct 2025, I first contacted virgin in June and it's still not been installed. Several engineers have been out keep saying works need to be done surveyors saying no work needs t be done and round we go. I ended up just cancelling after almost 6 months of trying to spend money with them.

Absolute felons !!! They harassing me with a bill after I transferred my contract from (same property) business to residential. Basically they claim to pay concomitant form same property 2 Wi-Fi. When I did the transfer they said I don’t need to do anything, it’s all on their side. After 3 months they sent me 100£ bill as” I didn’t cancelled the first contract when transferred “ . After I explained what their employee felons said to me , she stated will cancel everything straight away . But she didn’t. The bill keep coming . Very disgusting behaviour and attempt to steal people s money . I will take them to court 🤮 I add here reference number as not allowing me to reply anymore 151517886

I joined VirginMedia02 Business after being told I’d get extra features by linking an O2 business tariff. Two months in, it’s been a frustrating mess!
- No account access: I still can’t log in to my online business account.
- Inconsistent information: conflicting explanations on packages/features once linked to O2.
- No integration O2: the promised bundle benefits simply don’t exist in practice. I have been practically been misled.
- Paying for less than promised: he features that were sold to me have not materialised.
- Unstable broadband: service up and down like a yo-yo. I’ve dropped out of important client video calls.
- Slow fixes: broadband fix dates keep getting pushed back. When does these issues actually get resolved?
- Mis-selling: Sending me a single Deco unit isn’t a mesh; selling it as “extended coverage” for a whole property is misleading and has left me under-provisioned!
Because there is no real integration, I’ve had to liaise between O2 and VirginMedia myself just to bridge the gaps, only to be given different answers by each. I’ve wasted hours of my time trying to make this arrangement work for me.
As a small business, I need reliability and clear ownership of issues and challenges from my provider. SLAs mean nothing . Virgin Media has provided neither. I cannot recommend Virgin Media O2 Business.
Right now VirginMedia O2 is a liability and a risk to my business. So far it has cost me to be with them in lost time and effort trying to resolve issues on the phone with them.

Customer service team are totally inept. No knowledge of letters they have sent to me.
Offer price of upgrade in a letter they have sent to me was then completely different to offer on the phone (it was much higher than the letter) - to which the agent told me they could do nothing and and the letter was wrong, saying they get these calls a lot due to an error in the letters.
Awful hold times, hours to get through then passed between departments endlessly with no resolution.
Too much time given to chasing and dealing with this company, I wasted a day of business hours dealing with them over the phone for things that should have easily taken 5mins online in this day.
Absolutely 100% avoid, there as so many other offerings from other companies. DO NOT give them your money.

Why big companies like O2 Business and Virgin Media have the worst Customer Services ever.
Hours of phone calls with customer services and after 6 days issues not yet resolved. Some of the agents also have language and training issues

been customer for almost 15 years and after selling my business i have pay 3 months after i cancel service , robbing company! dont join them ever !
Avoid them if you don’t want them to steal your money and getting lies after lies and been cheated and not getting the speed you pay for
Awful call centre, I cant understand what they say. Constant drops internet connection, ebilling system has issues that you cant log in or reset passwords, you go in a circle trying to reset it. I am charged £4 for paper bills
Poor comms and failure to attend scheduled appointments leaving me waiting in all day.
It seems their contractors and departmetns have zero communication. Complete shambles.
Avoid them at all costs… Terrible service!!
Our experience with Virgin Media Business has been catastrophic.
Following their instructions to migrate to a new router on 23 September 2025 at 9:30am, our internet went completely down and has now been offline for over 24 hours with no resolution, no reliable updates, and no interim solution provided.
We run a business employing over 40 staff that relies entirely on stable internet for e-commerce, payments, ERP and customer support. This outage has brought our operations to a standstill, with mounting financial and reputational losses.
What makes this worse is the lack of communication. Despite repeated attempts to escalate, Virgin Media Business has not provided a clear timescale for restoration, nor have they addressed service restoration or compensation.
The entire process, from signing the new contract to the router migration, has been poorly managed and deeply damaging to our business. Unless resolved urgently, we will be forced to escalate to regulators and share our experience widely to ensure other businesses are aware of the risks.
This level of service is unacceptable for any business provider.
I rarely write reviews, but after months of frustration, I feel compelled to share my experience. Simply put, Virgin Business Broadband has been a disaster for my business.
The service has been unreliable at best, with ongoing faults that have repeatedly disrupted our operations. We rely on consistent internet access to function, and the constant outages have been crippling. Despite multiple reports, the issue remains unresolved.
What makes matters worse is the terrible customer service. Getting through to support takes ages – I spend hours every month on hold, being passed around departments, and repeating the same information to different agents who seem either unwilling or unable to help.
There has been no meaningful compensation offered for the loss of service, despite the significant impact on our business. Virgin positions this as a “business-grade” service, but in my experience, it has been anything but.
If you're running a business and need reliable internet and responsive support, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere.
It’s a pity that reviewers can’t give a negative rating . I have been without WiFi services since July .
I was promised that the third party contractor would pull in a new cable by the 20th September 25 needless to say we are still without the service we are paying for.
Getting through by telephone is a nightmare often having to be transferred to another department?
This company is hopeless and needs to be prosecuted under the trades description act because they are incompetent and cannot provide the advertised services
Extremely disappointing experience with O2 Virgin Business.
On 19th September 2025, I was approved for an iPhone order under my company (Moreira Fitness For Life Limited). I provided all the documents requested, including business bank statements and personal details. I was told by Ian Whitehead (Business Sales, O2 Virgin Business, Customer Service 0800 977 7337) that everything was approved once I agreed to the £300 advance bundle. I accepted and was assured I’d receive a call the next day to finalise my order.
That call never came. I’ve received no updates, no follow-up, and no professionalism. I’ve been a loyal O2 customer for over 10 years, and this level of customer service is simply unacceptable.
If O2 Virgin Business values its customers, I expect them to resolve this immediately and deliver the service I was promised. Right now, I cannot recommend them to any other business looking for reliability or professionalism.
