Disappointing

Disappointing. Have ordered several times without issue, but the mark of good or bad service is how a company deals with a problem. As an earlier review talked about, they are careless with payments.

There was no issue with my payment at the time, no alert that it wasn't taken, no suggestion that it might have gone through more than once. When checking my bank account, they have charged me twice. ~£100 instead of ~£50. This could easily take someone into a chargeable overdraft.

They sent me a standard message saying words to the effect of 'sorry. 3-5 days for refund.' That they have a standard message (it was very obviously a template) suggests that it happens too often. Their website is appalling and I have had issues ordering previously, but to take duplicates payments and not deal with that issue (saw a review from 2021) is inexcusable.

And it doesn't take 3-5 days. It can be done within the hour.

FAST SERVICE

FAST SERVICE! Ordered last night (at about 11pm) already received the product this (next) morning. Mine comes with a mini bag of Haribo(!) Love it!

I had eye test with these last year but…

I had eye test with these last year but glasses didn't seem right dobwent back 2 weeks later they said my vision had changed but not being one to complain I put up with glasses for year but still had double vision so went to specsavers this year to be told glasses vision express gave me were to strong for my eyes which is why I was having double vision so I wouldn't recommend vision express as far as I'm concerned tev£280 i paid for gasses last year was just waste of money

Excellent and impressive service

Excellent and impressive service. Been a customer for over 3 years, delivery always as promised except for the last one. It did not arrive despite Royal Mail declaration of delivery and when I called (in the evening), they immediately without questions nor arguments despatch a new batch, arriving the next day.

They took 4 payments and will not return for 3-5 days.

I have ordered from this company for a while and this is the second time this has happened. I placed an order but they charged me four times because when I ordered I got the message that the order was incomplete. Then they told me the bank had my money so I contacted the bank and I was told the company would have to return my money. How many people do they do this too and hold their cash for 3-5 days. Will not be using this company again!!!

Always have my contacts in stock, next day delivery is always on time, helpful customer support. Also been sending a cheeky haribos in each order for about 3 years

Incredible service, quality, delivery and experience

I have been using Vision Direct for 3 years now, and have always received my lenses on time, usually within 1 day even during Covid, and the product is excellent quality.

I have had an occasion where various of my lenses were of unsatisfactory quality. I emailed support to make them aware of this issue, and I received incredible support.

When my order once was put as delivered by Royal Mail, but had not arrived, I contacted the support team, who promptly assisted me and made sure I received a new supply of contact lenses within a short time.

After 3 years of regular service, I can certainly say that Vision Direct are the best place to get your contact lenses, and have one of the best support teams of all the companies I’ve ever used.

I recommend anyone looking to receive great quality lenses, at a great price, to use Vision Direct.

I recently had an issue with cheaper…

I recently had an issue with cheaper lenses I ordered. I got on their live chat with Carlos. He replaced my order with better lenses straight away at no extra cost. Can't ask for anything better than that. Awesome service😊

Outstanding customer service.

My glasses arrived in 8 days. I was a little disappointed in the thickness of the lenses, not realising the stronger script necessitated a thicker lens. Vision Direct replied to my query within 10 minutes of my email and had their technicians check the script against the type of lens supplied. They got back to me quickly and offered me 4 options, including a full refund. I kept the glasses and would purchase from them again as they are a reputable company with first rate customer service.

Never again.

Paid for next day delivery and got in touch when they didn't arrive. I was told there had been an outage with the system and this caused a backlog. Was told they will be here soon...when the hell is soon? Was refused a refund because "the order had gone too far. " They haven't even left the warehouse for god sake..Won't be using again will stick to feelgoodcontacts in future.

Excellent service.

Excellent service.
Contact lenses are despatched promptly and emails with queries are responded to immediately. I cannot fault their service. Lenses are also a very good price.
Highly recommended!

Excellent service - great staff. If you have any problems with orders online, etc you can ring the Dublin office - no delays in getting through - spoke today with Jacob Jones - sorted my order - excellent!! A pleasure to deal with.

Quality, delivered fast and cheap

My husband reluctantly left his Boots Vision Plan when his lenses were dropped and he found all three alternatives offered to be uncomfortable. We need not have worried - armed with his prescription, I quickly found his favourite lenses on-line with Vision Direct and we've been using this company without issue for the last 18 months. My husband pops along to Boots once a year to check his prescription and I order his favourite lenses, at a fraction of the Vision Plan price, whenever he is running out. And the best bit - they arrive the following morning! So, for an inconsistent contact lens user - sometimes its every day, sometimes not - we no longer end up with a surplus or a panic because a scheduled delivery date is too far off. We should have switched years ago...

Can only praise the service I…

Can only praise the service I experienced with Vision Direct. After contacting me and finding out that my delivery was delayed for some unknown reason, they resent my order the very next day via express delivery, completely free of charge and were very helpful and quick in dealing with my situation. Couldn't be more satisfied with how they handled everything. Extremely grateful and remaining their customer forever. :)

I bought some lenses and it took more…

I bought some lenses and it took more than a week to arrive.
At the end it wasn't visiondiret fault, but the delivery company fault.
Visiondirect dealt straight away with the problem and sort it out the same day I phoned them. The girl on the phone was extremely kind and efficient. They have even given me a discount for my next purchase. Sorry for the low rate but it is for the 9 days of hassle I have had.
