It's amazing to live without glasses after 25 years having to wear them.
Good quality service excepted when they decide to change the doctors schedule and move all the patients appointments.

The road to get to Visus has been more then 1 year (external professional opinions etc..) but when my eyes were done I just could not stop smiling and questioning myself Why I did not do earlier... afterwords is a piece of cake... So get here;)

Throughout the operation the doctor made sure to interact with me throughout the whole process which kept me really calm throughout the whole thing. It was painless and fast. The most amazing thing was when I could read the wall clock as soon as I got up from the operation table. The day itself of the operation I had eye discomfort but by dinner time it was over. The most amazing thing was how fast my recovery was, one week after the operation I didn't have any sensation of dry eyes or foggy vision anymore. I have brand new eyes!!
I am extremely satisfied with the service and care provided by the doctors and nurses and by the results of the laser surgery. I would highly recommend it to anyone!

I'm really pleased to have my eyes done with Visus eye clinic. It took me years to work up the courage to have it done. The people at the clinic are very friendly and supportive. It gave me the encouragement I needed. Everyone spoke English. They explained the steps very clearly. I felt that I was well informed therefore not scared. The 'surgical bear' toy they gave you on the day of the operation was extremely comforting. The follow up was also smooth. Not to mention the price is very reasonable for the top class service. I have already recommended this clinic to my sister in law!

I was always anxious to have laser eye surgery, but Visus were so assuring and were able to settle all of my concerns very easily. I love telling people about my experience! It was absolutely perfect. 20/20.

I have Lasik on both eyes. Now has been almost 4 weeks and the result is almost perfect. Morning when I wake up I may still have some blur and still feel a bit dry in the eyes. But other than, my eye sight is mostly recovered.

Given the price, you cannot expect high-end custom-made service, but since it's a standard,mature surgery and latest machine, large volume (they claim to have 20 eyes per day, on my date I go with 4 others , so 10 eyes. And there are another batch of patient after us, so I believe the number) , you can expect the quality to be quite stable, just like shopping in AH.



The surgery, Lasik with wavefront is mature process and you can easily found tons of literatures and reviews from internet. Known complaint after the surgery is also clear: mostly dry eyes, halo at night but seems ok for me. Guess with wavefront it's better.

Something to keep in mind is this clinic tends to over correct your eye sight from - to about + 1.00 (from me, my friend and mycolleague's girl friend). They claim it will recover after 2-6 weeks and my experience (also friends) is really like this. So dont worry about that.

After researching around a few other Laser Eye Clinics in the Netherlands, I was really blown away by how hospitable and welcoming Visus was (and still is) as a clinic.

After having my initial eye exam in Amsterdam, I went to Rotterdam a few weeks later for the surgery. It went very smoothly and I was done before I knew it. Again, the clinic in Rotterdam was very chic and I felt like they too care of me before, during and after the procedure.

I am a bit squeamish when it comes to eyes, but everyone who I spoke with at Visus made me feel comforted and assured, I never had any doubt.

I have my two week checkup next week, but my eyes have already recovered a lot and not irritated at all.

I did not submit my review any earlier because I wanted to experience the results on a longer period. I remember clearly...

1st appointment went very swiftly, reception staff very helpful
2nd visit was planned a few weeks after my test.
I was a little nervous but the staff put you at ease, the fact that on the same day another 10 people are getting their eyes done shows there is nothing to fear. Just notice the huge vase in reception of used glasses!
On the day of the procedure you get a introduction of what is going to happen and if you still have any doubts or questions you could ask at any point. the 1st procedure took probably 5 sec's per eye, only little discomfort is when they place the eye ring on. But its nothing major so relax. Your vision will be like your in a Sauna, misty vision. then your called for the second procedure again fraction of seconds. you are well attended too during the whole procedure and there is no stress everything runs smooth and relaxed. Doctors are also friendly. It was over in no time, you can think of being on a conveyor belt one after the other. I am now 12 month's after my treatment and I am still so pleased I had it done. The first weeks you realize how clear you can actually see and you can see everything in such detail. Make sure you use the drops given until you feel comfortable and its not dry anymore. I no longer need glasses and hope this can continue for years to come. Big thank you to the team. I have given recommendations for other people to get a free test done.
Don't wait !
Cost of the procedure is little high but imagine how much you spend on your glasses every time, or you forgot your glasses and could not read something. Its all worth it

Everything was great. The people working at Visus are very professional but at the same time comforting and aproachable. You get many chances to ask questions and they take very good care of you during the treatment.
I did the IntraLASIK and it didn't hurt at all and was over very quick. Only the antibiotics druppels burn for the first day, after that I had dry eyes for a couple of days. However, the morning after the operation it was a fantastic feeling to see without glasses and now, 2 weeks after, I am 100 % fine!
I can highly recommend the Visus Oogkliniek if you want to have your eyes lasered!

I had a TransPRK and it worked out very well for me. I did the intake in Amsterdam and then actual procedure in Rotterdam. Very professional service, very nice and kind people that treat you very well and take your fears into account. I had little problems after the procedure, almost no pain and quick recovery. They only little advice for improvement would be to hand out a piece of information what side effects are normal/can be expected and when you should be worried and actually call for advice/support and even come along.

Quick, painless “surgery”.

The only thing you feel is the great result afterwards!
You can perfectly see couple of hours later.

I am very satisfied with the treatment, the results and the after lasering check-ups.

When I went for the first time I was a little nervous because I did not know what to expect. Once I met the surgeon and he explained the procedure step by step I felt more secure.
On my first visit I had my vision checked and the doctor immediately made an appointment for the surgery. On the day of the procedure I had my eye checked again to confirm the previous results and after having waited a while in the waiting room, I was invited by a nurse to the surgery room. Even though the whole procedure is divided into two parts with a short break in between, it is unbelievably short. Everything was perfectly prepared, well organised and met all the sanitary conditions. The staff were very helpful and kind and they were always ready to answer all the questions.

The next day after the surgery I had to come back for a check up visit. And already then I could see that my vision had improved. It was amazing!

Since the first procedure turned out to be a great experience, shortly after that I decided to have my second eye treated there as well. The quality of the service is definitely worth the money! I would recommend it to my family, friends and anyone who needs their vision corrected without a doubt!!

Got my laser treatment now 6 months ago, and I couldn't have been happier with the results.
From intake to aftercare, the treatment was truly professional, efficient and care-free. All steps of the process are described in detail, and performed with care. The treatment itself was done quick and clean, and the results are simply amazing: 20/20 vision is back!
Aftercare is also not budgetted upon. I had to come back -just to be sure- 3 times in the first week, just to monitor the progress of the healing process. Would recommend this to anybody, and not only because the reward-programm :-)
