service, support and software are an absolute disaster

The hardware is actually pretty good, but the software is just awful and constantly bugging out. Today I changed my email address in the account settings, the whole process suddenly changed midway, I got logged out, and now I can’t log back in with either the new or the old email address.

And if you think there’s actual customer support for this — think again. A generic bot just redirects you somewhere, you can leave a message, and that’s basically it. Nobody will ever get back to you.

I definitely would not buy another device from them. The service, support, and software are an absolute disaster.

Bought infinity over 2 weeks ago

Bought infinity over 2 weeks ago. Still can't use it. Showing i don't have a membership but money was taken twice. Contact them is terrible. From 2 weeks problem not solved. Once a week you get response telling you everything is OK. Terrible experience. Avoid

New releases only available to NEW customers, paying customers are mistreated!

Just watched an advert on Youtube.

Viveport is doing a deal where if you sign upto 12 Months you get 3 games for free including Hubris.

I got really excited and went to viveport and logged in.

I already have the highest tier membership but when I search for Hubris the only option is to buy for £24.99 or click another tab which says 'Coming Soon' with no mention of infinity access.

Look if you are going to roll out games for New customers then you must also make them accessible to your current paying customers, no ifs, no buts!

I'm absolutely amazed that you would roll out a deal for potential new customers but not have these games ready for your existing paying customers.

I have been looking forward to playing Hubris all year and you won't believe how excited I was when I saw the advert that it had arrived on Viveport. This would have been the ultimate festive gift to myself. Now I just feel upset and cheated, why bother with Viveport if they are going to ruse and mistreat paying customers like this, is it a greed thing? What gives?

I'm currently buying some old games on the Steam Sale and that is where I will go in the future for ALL of the VR titles that I play!

I will change my review if I get some clarification on this otherwise I think it's time to cancel my Viveport subscription!

A company that's not big on results

Misleading "Infinity" ads and poor/slow service are what you get with this company. I have been a member, off and on, for YEARS but run into several technical problems like purchasing VR software and their misleading infinity ads that offer a "free" title to subscribers (but they never put anything like "if you have been a previous subscriber this disqualifies you"). No, they wait, take your money and THEN tell you that you can't have the free title OR the refund when you cancel or sometimes they don't even tell you at all and let thier service just keep taking money out of your bank account while you're thinking it's cancelled (you know, because you asked them to AND because the "cancel" button doesn't work on the web page when you try it).

Sure, they will say, "We are sorry for this misunderstanding....blah....blah....blah....but you never really get your money back or the free title that they're offering and, to top it off, their VIVE software isn't very "library" intuitive when it comes to trying to avoid redownloading software after you move it to another drive and reinstall.

All around, these people just DO NOT CARE. It's all about them getting their money.

Everything said here happened "exactly" as i have stated.

Update: I made an account request and VIVE had the "nerve" to ask me to rate them and never emailed me to let me know if ANYTHING had been solved.

Worst of the worst.
