Holloway Road store location is a scam
In mid-June I went to the Holloway road Vodafone to see what my options were to get a data plan while being abroad in Europe. Summer who is an employee at this store had me sign up for a two year data plan that included roaming data and minutes for my entire four months abroad. However I didn't have a UK bank account so she created me a UK wise account which is actually just a bank transferring app. Now two months later, Vodafone has contacted me to let me know that in addition to the monthly fee I pay for this two year contract that they will now charge me additional fees for using my data abroad (that again I already pay for). They said their TWO YEAR phone packages only last 62 days abroad which they failed to tell me when they had me sign up at the Holloway Road store. I would have never signed up if I knew this. I've requested to get out of this contract but they threatened me with additonal fees on top of the additional fees they want to charge me for being abroad in addition to the monhtly fee I already pay for having data abroad. They also told me I would have unlimited data abroad - this is no longer the case. They did a flip and switch so now on a Sunday morning I've had to call my lawyer to assist me in getting out of a contract that vodafone unethically and dishonestly had me sign up for. They knew they were in the wrong and even offered a 20 pound gift card which is not nearly enough to fix this. I want to cancel my contract but it seems I can't until my lawyer moves forward tomorrow. 0/10 stars. I do not recommend.

I had a fantastic experience with Amanuel and Venus — their customer service was truly exceptional! From the moment I reached out with my request, both of them were attentive, professional, and incredibly helpful. I visited the Vodafone store today after losing my SIM card while abroad. The staff were fantastic from start to finish — very professional, polite, and helpful. They guided me through all the necessary security and ID checks with patience and clarity.
What could have been a stressful situation was made simple thanks to their calm and efficient service. I'm genuinely impressed by the team’s professionalism and how smoothly everything was handled.
