If I could give them a zero, I would. As a “new” customer, my contact with employees across the business was abhorrent! I will never use Vodafone and will dissuade anyone I know from using them. From the first person I spoke to in the call center, who made such a mess out of a simple question regarding an order - which had he not done, would probably have resulted in a happy customer, instead it triggered hours of turmoil that got worse and worse and resulted in an encounter with a group of uncooperative, incompetent male staff members in the Uxbridge who yet again failed to actually help because yet again one person gives incorrect information that directly contradicts something someone else said. When frustrations reach an all-time high, and this is explained, they are quick to refuse service once they have sufficiently made the situation worse and successfully got a swear word about the situation to be used, giving them the exact thing they need to give “cause” for them to stand on the “reason” they couldn’t help. Maybe if they were focused on actively listening to their customers (both on the phone and in store) instead of being condescending, disinterested and on their phones, they would actually be able to answer the questions/ solve the issue at hand instead of getting themselves and the customer confused and then becoming frustrated when the customer can not help because they can not understand what is happening due to all the back and forth. I do not trust the people who work for this company, as the right hand doesn’t know what the left hand of the business is saying or offering. More concerning is how the grown male staff were pandering to clearly underage girls in the store; the fact that when I asked for assistance they claimed they could not get a manager, but he was suddenly available to refuse to serve me. The person I gave my phone to in the store was scrolling and typing on my phone when he didn’t need to… so what was he doing/ looking at?! They then used my number for a good 20 minutes after I left the store… why? And how are they still able to access my information? I'm not going to deny my frustrations got the better of me in store, but if you spent from 12 - 5 during your workday trying to sort out what should have been a simple click and collect order for broadband, I'd like to see how you would fare… ridiculous company.
