Nightmare 17 to 24 july and not out the woods yet!!
Went in on a Monday. Ordered my daughters new upgrade. Told to pick up on Wednesday, so went into Southside shopping centre to get. They showed me phone, went to do paperwork, couldn’t book phone out as central office hadn’t done their bit, so they phoned them. We were told to wait 10 minutes for computer to update. Which we did. Still didn’t work. They said couldn’t call back central office as closed 5 minutes ago. Come back tomorrow. Went back Thursday, computers down, told to come back tomorrow. Went back Friday, computers still down. Went back Saturday, computers working but phone still not booked out, decided whilst in the shop, time to complain, staff said they didnt have phone ! So I asked how they called on Wednesday, was told done on computer. A VODAFONE SHOP WITH NO PHONE. Called 191 from my phone, was advised by shop manager to go home and make the call,but didn’t, stayed in shop and made manager speak to complaints. She admitted my phone was in shop and order should be cancelled. Complaints ( in Egypt!) said takes 24 hours to cancel. I asked her to call me on Sunday at noon to confirm it had been done. She did call, but phone not cancelled. She put order in again, I asked her to call again, now one week from original booking. Monday she rang me again, still order not cancelled. This time she said she spoke to her supervisor and it should take 48 hours to cancel a booking. I explained it had been 48 hours, she replied: another 48 hours. In the meantime they had managed to book phone out and I could now collect from shop. Which I no longer wanted. But I went into shop and: guess what: order cancelled. Needless to say the direct debits have not changed. They are still charging me. So another week on phone to Vodafone for monies to be returned. How exciting, as if I’ve got nothing better to do!!
Btw O2 nearly £30 cheaper per month. Same iPhone.
