I’ve been double charged on insurance…
I’ve been double charged on insurance for one device for close to ten years. The response from them was we’ll wave 120 out of about 1,200k. They charged an extra 10 a month so that’s that number. Asked me to sign a waiver for 120, I have more respect for myself. I reported to the proper authorities their misdeeds. Maybe I get my money back, if not they at least get a red flag.
Great service
I’ve been with Vodafone for years now and always had great customer service. Recently I upgraded my iPhone and the customer service person Mohammad at Joondalup was just fantastic. I traded in an iPhone plus an iPad as well and he was amazing. Explained the whole process and was very efficient. I would recommend going to Joondalup Vodafone.
I phoned customer service to find out…
I phoned customer service to find out whether my phone was locked or unlocked. A simple question in my opinion but not to the customer service officer I spoke to. He made out he'didn't understand what I was trying to say. He only changed his attitude when I said I was getting irritated.
It would be nice if Vodafone hired staff that we can understand.
I am glad I changed carriers.
extremely poor customer service I have…
extremely poor customer service I have an auto renew set up and am being billed for a phone number I got 2 years ago and never used and they are telling me they can't stop the auto renew or give me my account number from my name. and I need to give them the phone number in order to cancel the account... something I don't have. I have been handed from phone to phone to store back to phone and then to a different store. so ridiculous. I have now contacted the telecommunications ombudsman as a customer with memory problems and there are many of those. should not be continually charged because they can not find a phone number from 2 years ago. they should have a way to assist people in my situation. but it doesn't seem they do.
Most horrible provider ever
Most horrible provider ever. No connection at all very slow speeds and not a single thing loads
it is a rort
I had to move to a town in WA and when I got there I found there was no Vodafone coverage. So I have had to get Telstra pre paid I emailed telstra and said I wished to close my plan. Thing is I was on a contract so even though I could not use the Vodaphone service I am paying $99 a month so I tink I will end up paying $1000 dollars to them for nothing
Sold 5G home Internet service for an area with only 4G (for 3+ years)
I spent 2 hours being transferred between 4 agents. The chat team was more focussed on transferring ticket to other teams instead of resolving the issue. For 3 years, I have used their 5G home internet service and they didnt even tell me there is no 5G coverage in my location. Mind you, this is their 5G home internet in Parramatta CBD.
A simple query which they just dodged for 2 hours, and then ended the conversation within 1 minute of inactivity. Absolutely disgusting service, and a total scam.
Agents in order:
Lloyd
Abdul Rehman (worst)
3rd engineer (4-2872416014618 atleast raised a ticket)
Amruta (from retention - didnt bother at all)
I am a network engineer myself and I know how things work in support, but this customer care experience is absolute shit.

Ridiculous customer practices
I had been with this telecom company for over 25 years. Last year, they enrolled me in another 2 years of contract without my consent. I said ok fine, it was a mistake.
Then yesterday I saw a promotion for new subscriptions at 5E, I said hey how come mine is 15E? So I pressed "purchase" and they asked for my phone number, and once I typed in the phone number my "offer" was for 16E.
In the next 5 minutes, I ported my number to a different company. Well done, you lost a 25-year customer.
Oh, and I got a 6E subscription with my new company, and their website actually works, imagine that.
Good luck, you're going to need it.
The coverage on the central coast of…
The coverage on the central coast of nsw is as bad as it was 15 years ago . Might be cheap but don’t waste your money .
Bad Service
Vodafone has to be, hands down, the WORST telecom provider ever. I’ve had to deal with slow internet four times this year, each lasting for extended periods. Every time I call, they put me through the same troubleshooting BS. Even when I tell them I’ve already done it, they still insist, and when it fixes the issue temporarily, they consider the problem “solved”
I’ve given them the benefit of the doubt because I’ve been a customer for many years, putting up with their BS. But if I experience this slow internet issue one more time at my house, myself and my six family members will no longer be customers of a company that clearly doesn’t value its customers.
Do better, you greedy shitshow.
Just horrendous
Just horrendous.
Most of the time I can't use my phone because it cuts out. Text messages cannot be send all the time. Most of the time I also don't recieve text messages (forget about activating your acvount through text or overseas banking with codes send to you!).
Emergency calls regularily impossible to make - if you have vodafone, you can assume that triple zero is not possible to connect.

Misleading advertising, overcharging and poor customer service.
After billing issues, false advertising and overcharging I made the decision to leave. The instant the service was transferred you are locked out of your account and all online ability to deal with them. A 1300 phone number was the only avenue for contact. After 5 weeks, multiple calls, formal complaint I still don't have monies owed to me nor can get to talk to a manager to escalate the issue. Now going to the Telecommunication Ombudsman.
Vodafone-Adelaide
Went into the store in Rundle Mall , Adelaide.
Asking for simple advice on messaging. As I was a UK customer he REFUSED to advise me!
Wow -this needs looking into
no free gift vodaphone lie to you
no free gift , i joined vodaphone for the free gift of £135 , thay say to wait after 4 payments , now i have paid 6 with this month ( dec 2025_) and still no free gift , THAY LIE TO ME DONT GO WITH VODAFONE
They simply can't deliver what they sell
I'm a bit of a regular here unfortunately. I moved recently. Much closer to the city. A highly populated area of Sydney, on top of a big hill. My internet speed since I moved has been exactly as bad as it's ever been.
Currently getting 0.84 Mbps when I'm paying for 50 Mbps. No internet regularly.
This company needs to be deconstructed. The only thing they're efficient at is taking our money.
I always need wifi from friends
I always need wifi from friends. Poor network connection
Rather there be a fat huge zero star
Rather there be a fat huge zero star. Shocking provider, no care factor. Sold me a phone with no coverage but have told me too bad too sad, not their problem. They tell me I
i have to pay out my plan of 7 weeks at $3000 if I want to change the model. They admitted the new iphone 17 air has issues but fail to look after us customers who can't even use this shoddy phone. Now working with the ombudsman.
Worst network coverage and customer…
Worst network coverage and customer service I’ve ever experienced.
Since joining Vodafone, I’ve had nothing but issues. They hit me with rate hikes and extra charges, then constantly notify me that I’ve used all my data and slow my network to the point where I can barely use my phone—unless I pay more to speed it back up.
The coverage is terrible. My calls cut out all the time, and despite reporting it repeatedly, it’s still not fixed.
Customer service is just as bad. I’ve spent countless hours being transferred between different countries and departments, repeating my story six times in a single call, only to be given conflicting information with no solution.
Overall, extremely disappointing. I do not recommend Vodafone to anyone.
