Azul and Priceline unwilling to honour included checked baggage
On 29 May 2024, I booked a roundtrip Azul flight from São Paulo to Lisbon via Priceline (Trip #558-452-585-18) which included a checked baggage. When I received the confirmation from Azul Airlines (reference PFD9JI), checked baggage was NOT included even though my Priceline itinerary showed checked baggage included.
On 2 June, I called Priceline and the agents repeatedly said that checked baggage is included, that they were unable to see Azul’s reservation and asked me to contact Azul directly. Upon contacting Azul, they said that checked baggage is NOT included and they were unable to see Priceline’s itinerary. After about 4 hours of being on the phone and waiting for Priceline agents to connect to their specialists, I gave up.
On 17 June, I called Priceline again and this time managed to connect to a travel service specialist, Maydalen Glen who was able to see both my Priceline’s itinerary and Azul’s reservation. She told me that what I had purchased was a basic fare and that I had to pay for my own checked baggage even though she was able to see that my Priceline itinerary included a checked baggage. She told me the case can’t be escalated and rudely ended the call.
This is very unprofessional on both Priceline and Azul. Priceline for not offering to pay for the checked baggage and ending the call abruptly. And Azul for allowing themselves to be on the Priceline platform yet not honoring baggage details when the Priceline itinerary clearly shows otherwise.

I really liked flying with Azul airlines, the air hostesses in my flight were amazing, super friendly, my only complaint is that I couldn't order a vegan meal 48 hrs before the flight departure but I will fly with Azul again, the Viracopos airport is also brilliant.
Useless Incompetents
Online check-in luggage payment required Brazilian registration number (?!) and failed. Support chat took ~1 hour to reply and was rude and useless. Instead of explaining the €50 could be paid at the airport, they cancelled and charged €100 at the airport. A representative at the airport suggested this was common.
AZUL NEEDS A WEBSITE THAT IS NOT JUST FOR BRASILIANS

How does an international traveller pay for these things and check in????
Until they get with the modern age and use IT staff that speak and understand anything outside Brasil they will stay in a bubble going nowhere.
Trouble accessing my booking and not comming through on call
I am having trouble accessing my booking and have been waiting in line for ever on my friends phone. How am I going to be able to check in and buy extra luggage if I cannot log in to my booking or get a hold of Azul? I hope they will let me pay the original price for the luggage (the price I was trying to pay online) and not pay extra for not being able to log in as it is their responqsability to have an app and a site that works. on app and site it says that I need to call but I am not getting through... I am using trust pilot as a final resort to try get in contact with azul.

I had a flight from Lisboa to Sao Paulo in February 2019. I had a happy experience with the flight. Everything was fine. Moreover, flight attendants were very friendly, intelligent and helpful.
Only one thing, customer support is not that easy to reach.. On facebook they didn't respond quickly. On email i didn't get the answer quickly too.
Fraud Airlines. Booking is in "R$", but they take the money in USD
Thats incredible. My booking from 1 weeks ago is in the currency R$ (=Brasil Real). Now i am in contact with the airline via facebook, but i get 3 times the same email.

They are not interested about my case, they dont check my booking confirmation, nobody want to help me. They take around 120 USD to much from my creditcard and i can do nothing ????

Update: hey told me, its a missunderstandung, the price is correct, i can cancel free of charge.... HELLO?????? i want this flight for this price !!!!! Total Fraud- Airline...... i have time !!!!
