Cds arrived for our wedding on time. Thanks! We made cds for our wedding of my wife playing piano for the ceremony and gave a few people a gift bag including the cd. Everyone loved the cds and were very complimentary about how impressive the quality of the sound and packaging. Very professional. Recommended!

This is the second time I've used VP Online. The first time there was an issue with the colour printing of the artwork on the DVD case but Graham was helpful in resolving this. The second time around everything was perfect. I'm a satisfied customer.

*SUPERB SERVICE*

I was in somewhat of a panic to get some CD wallets ordered and delivered before Christmas, which was only days away. Graeme from VPonline was extremely helpful, facilitating a small order when most other companies have prohibitively large minimum orders, at a great price. The communication was fast, and placing the order couldn't have been easier. My order arrived well before Christmas, and VPonline even threw in some extra copies! This company is fantastic, I would recommend to anybody.

Really good quality CDs, happy with the turn around time and packing. Also like that I had one or 2 extra prints of the inlays. Help was also really understanding and quick to respond. I have recommended these guys to more bands and musicians that are thinking about doing CD runs for albums and for singles.

They did a brilliant job of a short run of cd's for me...and turned the job around in super fast time at no extra cost (I had a tight deadline). Very responsive to emails (even over a weekend when officially they are closed) and did a lovely job in a short time frame. Great value and a very nice print job. Top guys!

These guys are amazing and I have used them before.
I will continue to have CDs of my poems produced by them, as soon as I am able to record some more.
I have just ordered a few more of my 1st CD of poems, which makes a total of 200 now.

I'll stick to the facts first and leave my opinion until the last paragraph.

Day 1: I placed my order (50 CDs in cases), uploaded the artwork, and asked if the CMYK conversion file I had used (to convert from RGB, as required) was appropriate. I also requested how to send the DDP file (for burning the discs) as this information hadn't been provided. Day 2: was told the CMYK conversion would be checked. Also received instructions on how to upload DDP file, which I did. Was asked to provide a mobile phone number, which I did on their online system, confirming by email that I had done so. VPonline said they could deliver by Day 12 (my nominal deadline). Day 12: was asked again to provide my mobile number; I replied that I had and that I could see it on their online system. VPonline claimed they couldn't see it, blaming an IT issue. This caused a small delay, so to expedite delivery, they switched delivery from an arranged pick-up point to my home address - without asking me. This wasn't actually convenient, as they'd assumed, causing me to rearrange my morning. A minor problem.

Day 13: The discs arrived. The discs themselves were fine but there were two problems. Issue 1: There were small erroneous pink marks on the artwork, affecting the majority of the inserts. Issue 2: The colours were quite different to what I had expected (I had experimented at home previously and got an extremely close match with my on-screen and printed results). Aware that converting from RGB to CMYK is a necessary and by nature an imperfect process, I wasn't expecting a perfect match, but the difference seemed excessive (the colours on VPonline's printout were much much colder, my orangey-yellow coming out as a greenish-yellow).

For the next 5 days I mulled it over, so 5 days of the total time taken are due to this.

Day 18: I asked VPonline their thoughts. They acknowledged Issue 1 (having had similar in the past) and offered to re-print. I told them to wait while we resolved Issue 2. Over two days we 'debated'. I proposed that I re-render my artwork using a different/better profile and that they performed another print run. (I am pretty sure that at the outset VPonline had no idea what a CMYK profile was, but I was happy to work with that.) After much wrangling, I managed to extract the name of a more suitable profile from them. They weren't forthcoming with the actual file, which I had to find myself online. I re-rendered the artwork and uploaded it.

Day 30: I hadn't heard anything, so mailed VPonline asking about progress. They replied that the artwork had been despatched that day.

Day 33: The artwork arrived in a padded envelope, somewhat bent out of shape due to insufficient protection in packing. Also there were odd minor flaws in the printing and some dents here and there in some of the paper. And the colours were still colder than expected (as described above) but somewhat paler, so the re-rendering had made a difference, though not a positive one. (Additionally, the new artwork wasn't folded and had no perforations, making it tricky to get in the tray without damaging.)

All of the above is 100% true and I have pictures and an email trail to back this up.

Now the opinion part: I found the tone of VPonline's emails increasingly unprofessional, curt, and plain unclear, especially considering they were trying to remedy an error. This would have been bearable had the end product been OK. However, sloppy attention in several areas indicates an unacceptable lack of care. I'm intending to do more print runs but not with them now. In fact, I'm considering binning the artwork and getting it re-printed elsewhere. Rather than demand a refund, I decided to write this review - it's good therapy anyway. The whole experience took the shine off the release of my first album - I had planned to celebrate with champagne but was so deflated that I made do with a £2.75 mini bottle of Cava: there is a glaring metaphor there for my experience with VPonline.

I wouldn't go anywhere else. Extremely helpful and friendly. Used a few times now and never had a problem. excellent quality, choice, turnaround and superb customer service.

I have just received 500 CDs with printed wallets front and back. The service was exemplary. The printing was of a high quality, the colours were vivid and crisp. The quality of the recording was
excellent. I will certainly recommend anyone looking for CD recording. The manager was Graeme - very well done. In fact the parcel arrived 24 hours early.
I am now a very happy happy!

I have used Vponline for a number of years and would never consider using another company for duplication. Communication is excellent, turnaround is fantastic and the product itself (I have received many different formats and quantities) is ALWAYS top notch!

Again, I am thrilled with the second album I got duplicated. It's been twice now I use Vponline and they have been so patient and so helpful and the result is beautiful! Because of a technical issue from my part with the artwork and the ISCR codes the deadline was short and they were super fast, I received a week before the release of the album.Thanks so much to Graeme, Richard, Monika and the whole team who helped. One piece of advice if that can help any of you out there wanting to self release your album and not having a graphic designer by your side, make sure the resolution of your artwork is 300 DPI, it will save everybody time, especially if you have a deadline. It is possible to find online converters like I did.

I was put in touch with VP Online by a friend and was amazed by what good value they offer. Graeme was helpful and responsive and the process of sending the tracks, artwork etc. and making a payment online was easy and quick. I have now received the CDs I ordered (which did not take long) and they look and sound perfect and were packaged very securely. I am so impressed and will be using VP Online's services regularly from hereon. I would recommend them happily to anyone looking for low cost, good quality CDR pressing and related services.

Excellent have used many times for cd duplication, absolutely first class cannot recommend enough!
