Great value for money. We received a large, comfortable and clean car. Claire was so friendly and helpful and made collecting the car and the paperwork so quick and easy and the same when we dropped the car back to them. Our business has used VWFS Rent-a-car in Cramlington for some time now and have always had excellent service. Claire Thompsons always goes out of her way to accommodate our requirements (which sometimes change at very short notice). Claire is always polite and courteous and very professional. The cars are always pristine and we would highly recommend this company (and Claire) for car hire services.

I think this was my 5th rental from Pulman Skoda at Cramlington, and I genuinely can’t think of a good reason why I would go anywhere else now.

Not only are their prices extremely competitive (and often much cheaper than elsewhere), but the standard of service we receive from Claire is always first class. She knows exactly who I am, and which car I’ve booked before I even say “hello”.

Needless to say, the cars are always ready on time, immaculate inside and out, and the exact make and model requested. It puts some of the rentals I’ve had (and there have been many over the years) from other better-known car rental companies to shame.

It’s not just Skoda cars that are “simply clever”; renting one is too.

Used VWFS for a few years now. Have used other companies in the past , always come back to Skoda ! Their vehicles are of such a high standard , you won't want to use anyone else !
In booking a rental the staff are always more than helpful , making sure you get the perfect vehicle for your needs , also helping you with the rental period , to get the most for your money !

The whole experience, from online booking to pick up and drop off was simple and quick. Claire, the rental manager was welcoming, cheerful and friendly and completed formalities quickly and efficiently. She also gave an excellent orientation to the vehicle. The vehicle I rented (Skoda Kodiaq) was brilliant. On return, Claire even gave me a lift to the railway station.

Our experience with this hire company was a first for us, we have had other vehicles from a rental company and that was on four occasions. As we needed a hire car we returned there but when we were quoted the price on this occasion, it was a definite no. We were not even aware of vwfs rent-a-car but we have to say we were more than pleased to find you. We dealt with claire who was really excellent, nothing was a problem and everything was staightforward and upfront no pushiness or trying to lead us to certain hire vehicles, customer service at its very best and we were both looked upon like a couple of long lost friends,so to claire our most grateful thanks.As for the car itself it was superb a lovely smooth drive,economical and so comfortable -
the car in question (kodiaq) i would recommend to anyone and should the need arise to hire again we will most certainly be back.

After my one year old car broke down I was sent to Cramlington Skoda to collect a car from Pullman. I was dealt with by a lady called Claire who was very helpful. A couple of days later I had to call Claire because I was panicking about the car I had. I was due to take my caravan away and the hire vehicle didn't have a tow bar. Claire went above and beyond to help speaking to different people and even calling Audi to try and help which she did!

First class service, Claire at Cramlington VWFS was excellent in dealing with my very short notice request for a vehicle. She explained the processes, policies and pricing quickly and clearly. The vehicle (Octavia estate) was in good order, clean and ready to go. Easy return process too. I’ll definitely be going back next time I require a hire car.
